(This is like a AU of the other story "Oh...")

(Pisces' POV)

Virgo sat across the table from me as I told her I was going to ask Gemini out.

"What's your plan?" She asked.

"I think I'm just gonna text him, so if he says no, it won't be in person and awkward..." I picked at my fingernails and looked across the room at him.

"If he rejects you, I'll beat him up!" She laughed.

The bell suddenly rings, and I grab my backpack and get up. I can't help but stare at him... Me and Virgo walk out and she gets on the bus. I begin walking home and worry. I didn't have a clue on what I was gonna say. I need to be confident, because confidence is sexy. Maybe I should just ask him. None of that extra stuff. But if he says no, I really want us to pretend it never happened...

I walk inside and head to my room. I immediately go to my computer and text him on Instagram.

Pisces: Hi, Gemini. I have a question... I was wondering if you'd like to go out with me? If you don't want to go out that's totally okay... But if you say no, can we just pretend this never happened?

I then text my other friends for awhile. An hour and a half passed, no answer. I eat some dinner and watch a movie with my family. 3 more hours passed, nothing. I clean my room and scroll through Instagram.

After 6 hours total, and still no reply, I see he posted something. I look at the picture of him and some girl. I start breathing kinda quickly and I look at his bio. In between what feels like a million hearts is the name "Sagittarius".

I go to her profile and look at her bio.

"

"Oh..." I almost passed out.

I stare at the picture. Why couldn't that be me? I want his arm around me, I want to be the girl in his bio, I want to be showed off like a queen. I want to be his.

I spent that weekend depressed. Those days were full of crying and forced back screams. I didn't realize how in love with him I was till I lost my chance.

How could I be so stupid? I never had a chance!

And what worsened the pain was I never had any ice cream to eat. I just walked around the house and ate a piece of toast every now and then. That weekend felt too long and too short at the same time.

It was Monday morning. I was shuffling into school, full of pain and tears that I couldn't let fall down my face. I saw Virgo talking to Capricorn and Leo. I walked to them and told her he had a girlfriend. Leo quickly giggled.

"I ship it!" She smiled.

I wanted to punch her, then and there, but I just glared. She didn't seem to notice.

I explained everything to Virgo and she stayed quiet for a long time. I looked at her, my worry painted across my face. She suddenly did a 180 and started marching to the basketball court, where Gemini was.

"YO GEMINI!" She yelled.

I see her walk up to him. Everything went into slow motion as she winded up her fist. I could only get two words out.

"Oh God..."
