《Zodiac One Shots》This isn't acting (Aquarius (f) x Libra (m))

(Aquarius' POV)

"Love is powerful! It can break mountains! And you're telling me it can't open up your heart?" I cry out to my new co-actor. We are practicing for a play on Broadway, it's called "Caged".

"What do you know about love! You hate the world! You push everyone away! You pushed me away! You're heartless!" My co-actor, Libra, shouts. His emotion was so real.

"Scene!" The director calls out.

We walk off stage and get water. Libra bumps into me, but keeps walking. I fight the urge to shout at him. I ran my fingers through my hair as I yawn. The play hit a little close to home, but I keep walking. I head straight for the door, not caring if the director wants to talk, Capricorn can text me if she wants.

I get into my car and drive off. About 20 minutes later, some car in front of me starts driving like a piece of trash! I open my window and start shouting, since I always have road rage.

"Who ever thought you were qualified to drive in the heart of New York was the dumbest piece of trash, just like you!" I scream.

"LOOK WHO'S TALKING!" Is all I get in reply.

I roll up my window and drive for the next 5 minutes in a silent fit. I arrive at my apartment, and walk in. My room mate, Aries, was out staying with her sister. I was alone, in more ways than one.

I get a text from Capricorn.

Capricorn: Hi, Aquarius! I need you to hang out with Libra more so your bond grows, that way the emotion in the play is more believable. Thanks!

Aquarius: Whatever, I'll ask him now...

I text Libra.

Aquarius: Hey, Capricorn wants us to hang out more. Come over, my address is 1010 Zodiac ave.

Libra: k

30 minutes later, Libra arrives and we sit on the couch. We talk about the play and how Capricorn wants us to grow a bond. We order a pizza and talk some more.

"On my way home, someone started screaming that I'm a terrible driver! I just yelled 'Look who's talking!' People can be so insensitive..." He says.

"Oh... That was me..." I say, ashamed.

"The thing is... It was just a minute after I got a call, my grandpa died..." He trailed off.

I felt so upset that I said such mean things. I pat him on the back, trying to keep thing casual, not wanting to make things mushy. I look deep into his green eyes, and I felt a new feeling, a weird feeling, but it seemed so familiar...

I push myself into him and we kiss passionately. We pull away after a minute and I say sorry. I start crying, something I never do. Libra wraps his arms around me, gently. I let him hold me, and I let the tears fall.

"You're right! I don't know anything about love! My parents were never home, I never had a pet or a doll I cherish! My heart has been broken before, and I have trust issues! I don't know what's wrong with me! I'm heartless, you were right! I don't know why I'm feeling all this now, when you're grieving!" I cry.

He shushes me and picks my small body up. He takes me to my room and tucks me in bed. He says goodnight, kisses me on the forehead, then leaves.

-o-o-o-The Next Morning-o-o-o-

I come out of my room and look around. I see the soda and pizza in the fridge, the blankets folded and set neatly on the couch, and a vase that I've had for awhile, that used to sit there, empty, was full of beautiful flowers!

I walk out side and see Libra's car still out by the curb. I walk up to the window and see Libra lying in the passenger seat, sleeping. I tap on the window and he wakes up, his hair all ruffled. I blush at his handsome smile, while he opens the door. I lean in and give him a sweet kiss on his cheek.

"Come in! Let's have some coffee!" I say, grabbing his hand.

We go back in side and drink our coffee. We cuddle up on the couch and watch T.V.

"I trust you..." I whisper.

"Did you read the note?" He asks.

I get up, "No," I walk to the vase and point, "Here?"

"Yeah."

I look and find a note...

I turn, and hug him.
