Two days passed since Taehyung and Jeongguk had a talk. Taehyung was kinda happy that Jeongguk stopped trying already after he told his once. But deep down, he felt bad for behaving rude with the younger.

Currently he was on his way to Jeongguk's cabin for choosing the design of the cover of the book so that they can start publishing the copies.

He pushed the door and entered Jeongguk's cabin only to see him asleep on his chair. His mouth a little open as he breathed steadily. Small snores making him even more cute.

Taehyung unknowingly smiled and tiptoed to the chair opposite to Jeongguk's because he didn't want to disturb the latter. He looks tired, Taehyung thought to himself seeing the tiredness on his face.

Too young for all the responsibilities Taehyung smiled and stared at Jeongguk's sleeping face getting settled on the chair.

"You deserve so much more." Taehyung whispered and softly pushed himself on the chair to get comfortable but regretted his decision when the chair creaked causing Jeongguk to move and slowly open his eyes.

"Oh, hey." Jeongguk quickly greeted and rectified his sitting posture before smiling widely at him, "I am exhausted. So thought of taking a quick nap here."

"You should rest." Taehyung advised and Jeongguk nodded, "Work load is just too much and being new to all this just increasing it even more."

"But still, you should take care of your health. Otherwise you will get sick again." Taehyung suggested, brushing his fingers along his silky hair locks.

"You will be there to take care of me. Won't you?" Jeongguk questioned and Taehyung sighed softly realizing that this boy won't stop bothering him.

"Remember strictly business." Taehyung reminded and Jeongguk smiled, "I thought for two days and yesterday I decided that I can't give up."

"I don't like it. You should stay in your limits." Taehyung warned and the last sentence kinda hurt Jeongguk.

"Stay in my limits?" Jeongguk said that came out more like a question, "Did I ever touch you in inappropriate ways? Did I ever force my feelings on you? I just expressed how much I like you and asked for chances. I know my limits Kim Taehyung."

Taehyung never saw Jeongguk talk like that and kinda agreed on what he was saying. Jeongguk never crossed his limits. Not even once.

"Why are you after me? I told you that you can get someone better than me. Why don't you understand?" Taehyung irritatedly said, his hands slammed on the table when he got too annoyed.

"What's holding you back?" Jeongguk asked for the second time and Taehyung now knew the answer. Two days were enough to find the answers.

"Is it our age...." Taehyung cut the other off, "Yes, it is our age gap. You are twenty four and I am thirty seven. We are fucking thirteen years apart."

"Whatever you are feeling for me is just an attraction. Nothing else. You can never love me. I am not enough for you or anybody else. You can easily get anyone who is young, who is perfect. So please stop." Taehyung ruffled his own hair in frustration and Jeongguk sighed.

"Why do you think so bad about yourself? Have you seen yourself in the mirror? I have never seen someone so pretty like you, Who said young is beautiful? For me you are perfect. Age doesn't matter to me."

"I was thirteen when you were born Jeongguk! Just think!" Taehyung through gritted teeth said and Jeongguk sighed for the second time.

"You know what? I think age gap is just an excuse. You don't want to fall in love again Taehyungie. Something is stopping you from moving on. Stop giving yourself the pain of being lonely. Move on. Even if it's with someone else and not me." Jeongguk said and Taehyung felt broken. He finally felt tears forming at the corner of his eyes.

Jeongguk saw the tears that were threatening to fall and rushed to the other. He knelt down on floor in front of Taehyung rotating the chair around. Taehyung didn't say a word and stared at his lap. He blinked causing the tears escape his eyes but ended up on Jeongguk's palms instead of getting absorbed in Taehyung's pants.

"Don't cry please. Okay, I won't try to impress you anymore. I can't promise but I will try. Just don't cry." Jeongguk said but Taehyung wasn't crying because of this, the reason was that Jeongguk figured out the truth that age gap wasn't the only reason he was resisting. That something from the past was holding him back and he knew what was it.

"Why wasting water when you should save them? You look like a tomato." Jeongguk said and Taehyung softly smiled, "Cute though."

"You deserve better." Taehyung again said and Jeongguk wiped the tears away from Taehyung's eyes with his thumbs.

That was one of the moments when Taehyung's blood rushed to his cheeks but Jeongguk couldn't understand that because of Taehyung's already red face due to crying.

"But what if I don't want someone better?" Jeongguk asked and Taehyung just stared at the other with admiration in his eyes.
