"Feeling better?" Taehyung asked when he entered the guest room and saw Jeongguk changed into his previous clothes, ready to leave.

"Yeah, I must go now. Mom called asking where was I yesterday. I am happy that she kinda noticed that I was not at home last night." Jeongguk weakly smiled at the older who smiled back immediately.

"So, you leaving now?" Taehyung questioned as it's been ages someone visited his lonely house and stayed the night.

"You want me to stay?" Jeongguk wriggled his eyebrows mischievously causing the other to roll his eyes at him. The black haired male laughed and Taehyung sighed, "No, I don't."

"It hurts." Jeongguk again started being a drama queen and tightly held his chest pretending to have a heartbreak.

"Such a drama queen you are Jeongguk." Taehyung comments but Jeongguk just walked closer and whispered in Taehyung's ear, "Soon, I will be the king to rule your heart."

Taehyung will never admit that his heart did a thing hearing that and he quickly pushed the other away, "You didn't brush your teeth!"

"I don't have a brush here but I am sure I don't have a bad breath, I gargled with mouth wash." Jeongguk defended himself while Taehyung laughed.

"Okay okay."

Taehyung saw Jeongguk leave and had an urge to see him from the balcony like he used to see Namjoon whenever he left for work or something.

The writer's palm brushed on the metal railing and he unknowingly smiled when he saw Jeongguk's back profile. He looked well built and perfect from every single angle.

Taehyung never thought that Jeongguk would see him watching over him but what the other did just amazed him. He stopped in the middle of the track and turned around.

Taehyung never felt this embarrassed in his life when Jeongguk caught him watching over him. He immediately walked inside the room, regretting his decision. "Fuck!" He cursed and sighed before his phone started ringing.

And it was none other than Jeongguk.

Taehyung didn't have any reason to not pick up the call and what would the other think if he didn't pick up the call? So, after thinking about it for a good half a minute, he picked it up.

"Yeah, what?" Taehyung with an uninterested tone started the conversation and could hear the other laugh.

"Come back to your balcony." Jeongguk kinda ordered and Taehyung refused immediately, "Why would I?"

"I want to see you. Like you wanted to see me moments ago." Jeongguk snickered and Taehyung huffed.

"I was just there for fresh air. Don't you think that you're too special."

"I can't breathe without seeing you." Jeongguk cheekily said and Taehyung couldn't but laugh and walk to his balcony to see Jeongguk looking at him, smiling and talking.

"Be honest Jeongguk, are you a cheesy dialogue writer of some C grade movies?" Taehyung asked smiling.

"No, of course not. These lines are only for you."

"By the way, I just saved your life." Taehyung pointed out and could see the other laugh and even could hear it through the phone, "Oh yeah right."

"Now leave. Don't you have work?"

Taehyung stared at the white ceiling. Something seems off today. Even he couldn't focus on writing. All he could think about was Jeon Jeongguk. If he was alright? If his fever got back or not. Taehyung was actually thinking about the 24 year old boy.

He, for the millionth time touched his phone with the tip of his fingers before pushing it far away on the bed, berating himself for even thinking of calling Jeon Jeongguk.

"No, you can't and you won't." Taehyung made himself understand and sighed before he finally grabbed his phone properly and decided to call him.

"Just will ask if he still has fever. Yeah." Taehyung assured himself before calling Jeongguk and waited for him to pick it up.

But to Taehyung's surprise, Jeongguk didn't pick up the call and Taehyung decided to not call him again thinking the other might be busy and calling him twice will give him a chance to say that he actually cares for him, even if it is the slightest.

He pushed his glasses up his nose bridge and was about to start writing again when his phone started vibrating. He always turned on the vibration mode during writing and today wasn't different too.

The writer saw that it was Jeongguk and took a moment to clear his voice before he picked up the call.

"I am so sorry that I couldn't take your call. I am so so sorry." Taehyung kinda expected this from Jeongguk and smiled at how genuinely sorry he sounded for such a small thing.

"It's fine. Just wanted to ask about your fever." Taehyung finally says and could hear Jeongguk take a long breath.

"The thermometer says it's 99 degrees right now, so I guess, I still have fever. But don't worry, now that you talked to me, I will be totally fine." (in Fahrenheit) Jeongguk says from the other side and Taehyung felt a weird tingling feeling inside his stomach.

"Hey, take care of yourself." Jeongguk heard those words from Taehyung and his heart was gonna explode on how soft and sweet that tone was.

"What are you doing right now?" Jeongguk asks after there was a comforting silence for a moment.

"Writing a chapter for my book. What about you?" Taehyung asks typing some words that appeared on the laptop screen before placing the laptop on the nightstand and now fully in a mood of talking.

"Nothing, I am just standing outside of your house wanting to see you one time before I head for home." Jeongguk says and the other immediately pulled himself to his feet and ran to his balcony.

Taehyung realized that Jeongguk wasn't lying when he saw him standing in front of his house.

"You are a creep." Taehyung accused though the phone, though he didn't mind seeing Jeongguk there at this time.

"You made me like this."

Taehyung took a deep breath and didn't know what to do with this boy.

"Jeongguk, please stop doing all this, I am not made for you. You are too good for me. Stop trying. I can never see you like you want me to." Taehyung didn't want to give Jeongguk any hope, he didn't want to lead him on and he knew it's high time he made the other understand.

"From now on, whatever you want to say should be related to our business. Everything should be strictly business." Taehyung warned, his jaw went firm when he could see Jeongguk looking up at him, not saying a word.

"What's the thing holding you back to give me a chance Taehyung? Is it only because of the age gap between us?"

What's holding me back? Taehyung asked himself the same question but found no answer. He himself didn't know what's holding him back for even giving Jeongguk a chance.
