It was like the same thing over and over again, finding a new superhero over and over again that the team wanted to bring in and train. When it wasn't something like that, it was something around the lines that they wanted to bring in a villain that they wanted to subdue. It was always something around the lines of either recruiting or subduing, there was no door number three. Unless there was an Ultron situation where there was a war that the Avengers needed to fight, then they would do that too, but most of the time, it was something along the lines where they would work together to bring someone into their own ranks and work them into the folds of becoming a hero.
Poppy had worked alongside them for years, watching as the superhero team had grown from just a few members to a whole facility full of them. She never thought that there would be so many people that would make up the superhero team of the Avengers, but she was glad that they had them. She was glad that the world had the Avengers in order to fight the battles that they weren't able to fight. If the world didn't have them, what was it that they would've been able to do? What would they be able to do for themselves when the world that they lived on was threatened by an Asgardian that wanted to take over them or an android man that was created by one of their own?
The Avengers were there to take care of them, and Poppy was glad that the superhero team was there to make sure that they were safe, no matter what it was that was going on around them. They were there to make sure that there was that sense of safety and sensibility around them at all costs, no matter what it was that had happened to them. They were there to risk their lives for them, and if they were to give their own lives for the best for the world, then that was what was going to happen for the rest of them.

Poppy inhaled deeply as she stared down at her file in front of her as the Avengers were all listening to the new thing that Nick Fury was throwing their way. She knew that Nick Fury had something that the man wanted for them to hear. There was something new that the rest of the world had figured out, but he wanted to be able to get it under wraps in a number of days before it got out of control before it got worse.
Which was why they were all sitting in front of a large screen, where the middle Stark sibling, Miranda Stark, was sitting in front of them on a teleprompter. The dark-haired woman stood in front of the screen as she glanced over all of the Avengers, and her eyes were quick to land on her two brothers, before they moved over to the Director, knowing that she was going to have to address him as soon as he was to ask her a question.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ "Director Fury," Miranda commented as she stared at the man as she held her hands behind her back, as a few of her fellow mutants stood behind her and she gave him a small smile. "Charles isn't able to speak with you today, seeing as he's quite busy with a few matters of his own, so he's asked me to speak on his behalf."
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ "Good," Nick replied to her as he nodded his head, before clearing his throat. "How is everything going on the mutant side of everything?" He questioned her, before glancing over the rest of the heroes in the room. "How are all of you handling what's going on?"
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ "We're doing very well, trying our very best to keep our interests under control," Miranda replied to him before she let out a sigh before she nodded her head to him. "Is there anything that the Avengers need from us right now? Because if the Avengers need the X-Men's help, then I'll have to let Charles and the rest of them know as soon as possible."

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ "Are you staying out of trouble, Randy?" Tony questioned, and everyone in the room watched as the woman on the screen let out a chuckle as she gave the man a smile as she stared at the man through the screen.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ "Yes, Tony," Miranda replied to him and she furrowed her brows together. "I hope you and James are staying out of trouble, otherwise I'm going to have Aunt Fayre kick your ass," She winked at her brothers before she shook her head. "But, if the Avengers do need the help of the X-Men, we are here for you."
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ "Thank you, Miranda," Poppy commented as she smiled at the woman in the camera as she nodded her head to her before the camera footage was cut. The dark-haired woman sat back in her seat as she glanced down at her folder before she glanced around herself and she looked around herself and she listened as all of the Avengers continued to listen as all of the Avengers spoke about what it was that was going on.
It had been a while since the X-Men had helped the Avengers with what it was that was going on around them, and it would've been nice for the Stark brothers to see their sister again. They needed their sister to keep them in line, seeing as she was one of them in order to keep them in line. Miranda may have been the middle sibling, but she was always the one that was able to keep them out of trouble, no matter what it was that was going on.
But Poppy didn't know if the X-Men were going to have to get involved with what it was that was going on around them. She knew that the Avengers were able to keep themselves safe with what was going on and they would've been able to get Carol back to help them, but the X-Men were closer than Carol was. But she wished that they would've been able to just get Carol back in time to help them with the upcoming bad guys that were going to make their way back to Earth.
She let out a heavy sigh as she listened to the rest of the Avengers talk about the mission that was most likely going to transpire, and that was when she heard them talk about going to Charles Xavier's school. And that was a mission that she wanted to go on, just to see what it was like to live the life of a mutant -- a life that the Stark sister lived every single day.

Kill the Harem
I was never a person who struggled with anything. Whatever I wanted to achieve, I achieved, except for finding a good reason for living. That was until I died. Perhaps it was karma, or perhaps it was some particularly sick god. I woke up in a world full of magic and encountered all these women who became romantically obsessed with me. It bears an uncanny resemblance to those garbage isekai series that I had the misfortune of reading in high school. The problem is, I loathe isekai. It got to the point where ever time I read about a busty elf-girl wanting to follow the protagonist, I wanted to throw something. It's illogical and it ruins the flow of the story. But now, I'm the one getting harassed by such illogical people? What complete and utter drivel. If any obsessive crazy person tries to make me theirs without even caring about my opinion, I'll f*cking kill them! I'll kill them all! I'm getting back home no matter what. My favorite manga hasn't finished yet and I want to read it to the end. Q&A Section Q: Is the protagonist mentally healthy? A: No, not even close. Q: Are all the female characters stupid? A: Barring extenuating circumstances, nobody rational would fall for a guy like the protagonist, so there's a bit of selection bias going on here. Q: Is this about a Gary Stu killing a bunch of irrational harem characters in a cliche isekai world? A: Go reread the title and the synopsis. Q: Do the women die because they won't sleep with the protagonist? A: No. I'm not sure where anyone got that from since it's entirely the opposite of what happens.
