Klaus woke up to see the demigod cuddled up beside him. She was still asleep, her wavy dark hair flowing down her shoulders.
He didn't notice the small smile that appeared on his lips. His eyes traveled across her face, examining the features.
The original hybrid closed his eyes again. For the first time in a while, Klaus felt calm. He didn't feel worried about the people out to get him. His thoughts weren't consumed with fear, anger, or self-hatred.
Percy moved slightly, causing him to look down again. Her arm held him closer and she nestled her head into his chest.
"Good morning, love." His words fell from his lips tenderly.
She groaned slightly and hid her face in his chest. Klaus chuckled at the action. The demigod could feel the vibrations of his body when he laughed.
Percy kept her eyes closed, "Good night."
"It's morning, love." An amused smile appeared on his face.
She gripped his shirt. "Too bad."
The raven haired beauty was ready to fall back asleep.
"I'm going to wake my siblings up today."
Her sleepiness disappeared.
Percy looked up at him with a smile. The hybrid was immediately entranced by her beauty. Her bright sea green eyes were startling. He couldn't help but get lost in them.
The demigod was excited. "So, I can see Elijah, the suit loving original again?"
Klaus chuckled, "Yes, love."
"Yay! Do you think I'll get along with the rest of your siblings too?" She questioned.
The corners of his mouth went up. "I think that you manage to get along with everyone. I don't think my siblings would be any different."
"I don't get along with everyone." Percy said with a cheeky smile.
The original raised an eyebrow in amusement. "Like who?"
The demigod shook her head. "Nope. Not gonna unpack all that right now."
"Well, now I have to know." He smirked at her.
Percy playfully rolled her eyes. "Nope."
The hybrid gave her cute puppy-dog eyes.
"Maybe I'll tell you all about my enemies someday. But you have to earn it." She poked his chest.

Klaus sighed. "And how am I supposed to do that?"
The raven haired beauty shrugged.
It was the original's turn to roll his eyes. "Fine, love." He started to sit up, and Percy pulled him back.
"What do you think you're doing?" She pouted.
He smiled at her, showing his dimples. "I'm going to go make breakfast."
Her face lit up. "You're gonna make me food?"
Klaus found her expression adorable. "Yes, and you can go back to sleep."
The sea green eyed girl shook her head. "No."
The hybrid was confused. "You don't want breakfast?"
She was offended by the question.
"Of course, I want breakfast. But if you're getting up, I'm going with you." She said softly.
Once again, her eyes held his captive.
Klaus replied, "But I thought you wanted to go back to sleep. I'll wake you up when it's ready."
"But cooking with you sounds way more fun." The demigod smiled, her eyes sparkling.
In all honesty, Percy just wanted to spend time with him.
She watched as his dimples appeared again. "Okay, love. Come on."

Percy sat on the counter right next to the stove.
"So watching me cook, is your version of helping?" He teased.
The demigod nodded energetically. "Yup." She sent him a cute smile.
There were several pans on the stove top. Klaus was mixing the batter for pancakes. His muscles flexed beneath his shirt.
He set the bowl down and looked through the different cabinets.
"What are you looking for?" She asked before taking a bite of a strawberry.
The hybrid picked up a small blue container and walked back to the bowl with a smirk. "You'll see, love."
He held the container over the bowl and blue liquid dripped from it.
Percy's eyes widened and her jaw dropped. "You got blue food dye!"
"Yes, well, you mentioned it-"
The raven haired beauty threw her arms around him. Klaus was slightly surprised at the action but still wrapped his arm around her waist.
I adore him.

Gods, I did not just think that.
But, he has blue food dye.
Shut up, brain.
She pulled away with a grin and returned to her spot on the counter.
Percy made random comments often and people tended to not pay attention to them. If felt good to have someone remember something that was important to her. Adding blue food dye to foods may have sounded odd, but to her it was important.
"What was that for, love?"
She shrugged, the smile not leaving her lips. "You remembered." She said softly.
"Well, you're an unforgettable person." He commented.
For once, Percy didn't know how to respond to a statement.
He used a spoon to pour some of the batter on the pan. On another pan he cooked eggs.
Klaus flipped the pancake and let it cook on the other side.
Percy watched as he quickly maneuvered between the pans, and skillfully managed the food.
Dam.
She chewed on another strawberry.
There was soft jazz music playing in the background.
Eventually the plate next to him had a mountain of pancakes.
He turned off the burners and glanced at the demigod. "Is there a reason you like blue food so much, love? Besides it being your favorite color."
Percy nodded. "It's sort of an inside joke between me and my mom." A soft smile spread on her face as she thought about her mother.
"Blue has always been my favorite color. One day my mom asked me what I wanted for my birthday. I just said I wanted a blue birthday cake. And, um, this guy we didn't like, said that there was no such thing as blue food."
Klaus stepped closer to her as she continued the story.
"Ever since then, we've made it a tradition to make blue food as often as we could."
The demigod realized she hadn't told anyone that story before besides Annabeth.
The hybrid smiled. "It sounds like you have a great mom, love."
Grinning, Percy replied, "Yeah. She's the best."
•••
After the two had breakfast, they left for the lot where the coffins of Klaus's family were kept in a truck.
As they walked, the original hybrid called his sister. He left a voicemail message when she didn't answer. "Rebekah, where are you? Pick up the phone, darling. Daddy's dead. It's time for a family reunion."
"And Percy reunion!" The demigod added.
He ended the call as he received another one. The hybrid saw who the person calling him was and smiled. "Stefan. Miss me already?"
Klaus put the device on speaker phone so that Percy could hear the conversation.
"I'm just calling to thank you for my freedom." The Salvatore spoke.
Klaus replied. "I like to believe I'm a man of my word, more or less."
The sea green eyed girl rolled her eyes.
"The thing is, it came at too high of a price. You took everything from me, Klaus."
The pair approached the truck. The original responded to Stefan. "Let bygones be bygones. Trust me, resentment gets old."
Klaus placed his hand on the handle of the trunk door as the vampire continued speaking. "You know what never gets old?"
The hybrid pulled the door upwards.
Stefan uttered the final word, "Revenge."
An empty truck was revealed. All of the coffins were missing.
"No." Klaus said in denial.
The Salvatore mocked him. "What's the matter, Klaus? Missing something?"
"What are you doing?"
Stefan replied, "I'm just enjoying my freedom."
Klaus was furious. "I will kill you and everyone you've ever met." He growled threateningly.
"You do that and you'll never see your family again. I wonder, Klaus. As someone who's been one step ahead for a thousand years, were you prepared for this?"
Xoxo, gossip girl
/////////////////////////:/::///////////////////////////////////
okay, but imagine if Stefan ended that phone call with, "Xoxo, gossip girl."
That would be iconic.
Anyways, this chapter is very short. My apologies.
Love, Shay

This had been long-awaited and everyone dropped off their kids with a hint of dread. Hoping that nothing would go wrong, we know it did. Since else there would not be a story. I won't go into too much detail, but only simply explain what happened. Due to some malfunctioning and incorrect assumptions, the reactor overproduced energy. Have done countless simulations and even built test stations in space. Yet now, something had gone when they did the same on earth. Bizarre, right? This malfunctioning and imploding of the reactor caused a massive explosion due to the instability of space itself. This is also what allowed the story to exist, as our main characters were all transported. The method is not known, nor why they survived. We can say it is for the story, for now... They all now find themselves on Ethos, eating a mouthful of dirt as they struggled for breath. Some find their situation horrible, others find it relaxing and peaceful.
