《SEA GREEN MEETS GOLD (N.M. & P.J.)》Chapter 22: Darts and Hearts

The demigod and hybrid walked into Mystic Grill.
Percy walked up to the employee at the front. "Hey, can I place an order to go?"
"Sure. What can I get you?"
The raven haired beauty smiled. "A cheeseburger with fries. Oh! And a strawberry lemonade, please."
The employee nodded. "Alright, that'll be out soon."
"Thank you!"
Percy spotted the doppelgänger talking with the blue eyed Salvatore. She nudged the hybrid's arm and gestured to them. He nodded.
Damon and Elena were standing really close to each other as they flirted.
Is she dating Damon now?
They walked up to the pair.
"Don't mind me." The hybrid spoke with a smirk.
The two spun around. Elena looked frightened when she discovered who spoke. "Klaus."
Klaus noticed her fear and his smirk widened.
Damon stood in front of Elena protectively. "You're going to do this in the grill, in front of everyone? It's a little beneath you, don't you think?"
"I don't know what you're talking about. I just came down to my local pub to get Persephone something to eat." The hybrid replied.
At the mention of food, the demigod looked back in the direction of the kitchen longingly.
The doppelgänger glared coldly at Percy. She didn't understand why the demigod was acting so nonchalant about being with the hybrid.
Klaus directed his attention to the hybrid he brought with them. "Get a round, then, would you, Tony."
Tony walked off to get them drinks.
Klaus wrapped his arm around Percy's waist. The action caused the Salvatore to scoff.
Damon continued, "I'm surprised you stuck around town long enough for happy hour." After speaking to Klaus, he gave Percy a cold look.
The demigod, however, was just thinking about food.
Klaus responded, "My sister seems to be missing. Need to sort that out."
"Cute, blond, bombshell, psycho? Shouldn't be too hard to find." The blue eyed vampire commented.
Klaus let go of Percy's waist to step toward the two threateningly. "Truth is, I've grown to rather like your little town. Thinking I might fancy a home here."
Percy stopped paying attention to the conversation, when a waiter arrived with her food. The sea green eyed girl payed for the meal and grabbed the bag.
"Thank you."
She pulled out the strawberry lemonade and a straw. She began hitting the straw against a nearby table to get the paper wrapping off.

The three people conversing momentarily stopped, to look over at her. Klaus smiled in amusement.
He glanced back at the doppelgänger. "You can tell me where I might find Stefan."
Percy called out, "You mean, Stefano." She continued trying to get the paper covering off the straw.
How strong can a piece of paper be?
"Of course, love. My apologies." Klaus said with a smirk.
"Stefan skipped town the second he saved your ass." Damon replied for Elena.
Klaus turned around. "Well, you see, that is a shame." The hybrid threw a dart at the dart board.
Elena flinched slightly.
Percy stopped trying to get the straw out when she heard the sound. Her eyes lit up at the sight of the darts.
She forgot about what she was doing and walked up to get some off the stabby objects. Klaus continued talking, "Your brother stole from me. I need him found so I can take back what's mine."
Percy threw a dart at the board and it landed in the bullseye, right next Klaus's.
The doppelgänger sent the demigod a weirded-out look. She shook her head disapprovingly and looked back at Klaus. "That sounds like a Klaus and Stefan problem."
The hybrid walked towards Elena threateningly, as Percy threw more darts.
Once again, Damon stepped in front of Elena protectively. Klaus chuckled humorlessly. "Well this is me broadening the scope, sweetheart."
After sending a devilish smirk at the pair, he walked back over to where Percy left her food.
He glanced at the demigod. "Percy, love."
She turned around, "What's up?"
Klaus gestured to the meal.
Her eyes widened as excitement filled her again. "Oh! Food!"
She had forgotten about it when she got distracted by the darts.
Once something left her direct line of sight, she usually forgot about it. Her ADHD made it difficult to stay focused on things.
She walked towards him. He ripped the piece of paper off the straw and placed it in the drink for her.
Percy smiled a bit at the action. She didn't think of that.
He picked up the bag and turned to her. "You ready to go, love?"
The demigod nodded.
He smiled in amusement. "Are you taking the darts?"
She looked down to see that she was still holding a bunch of darts in her hand.
Dang.
She set them down on the table and grinned at him. "Okay, let's go."

Percy sipped her straw and the hybrid wrapped his arm around her shoulders, leading them out of the restaurant.
Elena and Damon watched in disbelief. The Salvatore's eyebrows furrowed. "What the hell was that?"
The brunette shook her head.
"Percy's not on our side. She's bad news, Damon."
••••••
The sea green eyed girl was jogging through the neighborhood. Percy spotted someone standing in the middle to the street.
She frowned slightly and sped up. A door to the house next to her opened and Elena and Alaric rushed out.
A black car turned a corner up ahead, and began speeding way past the speed limit. The vehicle was directed at the person in the street.
Percy sprinted to the guy and recognized it was Jeremy. Alaric and Elena ran towards him too.
"Jeremy!" The history teacher yelled out.
Elena added, "Jeremy! Jeremy move!"
The demigod was quickly approaching the Gilbert. Alaric was right behind her.
Right before the car could hit the boy, Percy shoved him out of the way. They both tumbled to the ground, the car just missing them by inches.
A loud sound of something heavy crashing against metal was heard. The demigod spun around to see Alaric on the ground.
Percy ran towards the history teacher. The doppelgänger did the same. The raven haired girl flipped over Alaric. He was dead.
The black car came to a stop. One of Klaus's hybrid's lowered the window. "There I go again, bumping into people."
Percy glared at the guy. He sped off again in his car.
Elena picked up Alaric's hand, to see his ring. She sighed in relief. He was going to be okay.
Jeremy pushed himself off the ground and ran to Alaric's side also.
"He's going to be alright. Are you ok?" The doppelgänger asked worriedly.
Jeremy looked back and forth between the two girls. "I don't understand."
"Who was that on the phone earlier?" Elena questioned her brother.
The Gilbert responded, "It was Klaus."
"That jackass." Percy muttered.
Elena glanced over at the demigod before looking back at Jeremy. "You were compelled, Jeremy."
Percy looked at Alaric. "Okay, we need to get him inside."
The doppelgänger furrowed her eyebrows. "Whose side are you on?"
The demigod pulled the history teacher off of the ground and held him up. "I'm on the side that prevents everyone from killing each other. Cool? Cool."
She started walking towards the Gilbert house, Alaric in her arms. Jeremy was surprised by her strength. "Do you need some help with that?"
"Nope."
Elena opened the door for Percy. The green eyed girl set Alaric down on the couch.
"Now, what?"
••••••••••
Damon arrived at the Gilbert house. "How is he?"
"He's dead. But he had his ring." Percy replied.
The Salvatore scoffed when he saw the demigod.
Elena added, "Klaus's hybrid hit him. Now we just wait."
Damon nodded and looked at Percy. "So, are you playing both sides now?" He asked coldly.
"You know, I have a question. Were you all apart of the plan of Mikael using me as bait?" The raven haired beauty spoke, her face void of emotion.
Damon replied, "Well, yeah. But it's probably a good thing we didn't tell you, because you chose team Klaus."
The demigod's eyes narrowed slightly. "You wanted to use his own step father against him."
"Who cares? All Klaus does is cause us more problems." He spoke angrily and stepped closer to her threateningly.
Percy's gaze hardened. "So, that gives you the right to use others for your own gain?"
"He's the bad guy, Percy! I get that he's brainwashed you into thinking he's not." He stepped closer to her. "But you need to stop letting your teenage hormones get in the way when some guy gives you attention."
Something in the atmosphere changed. Percy raised her chin up and her eyes resembled dark waves. It was the harsh, dangerous type of waters that destroyed anything that dared enter the current. Her face, however, remained impassive.
Her hand shot into his chest and felt his heart. Her eyes did not leave his.
"Percy! Stop!" Elena pleaded.
The demigod ignored her. Damon tried to move his hand to stop her but he couldn't. Her grip tightened on his heart.
Percy leaned in closer. Mockingly, she asked, "Oh. Are my hormones getting in the way?"
The vampire looked worried for a moment. He had the feeling that she was capable of things he couldn't even imagine.
She let go of her hold on him. "Don't speak to me like that again." Power radiated off of her.
The raven haired beauty walked right out of the house. The people in the room stood in shock.
•••
Dang.
Anyways, Percy's an icon.
I know my update schedule has not been reliable. But, here is another chappie.

Quest of the Seal Bearers - Book 1: The Warriors Return

Fantasma, leader of the global government, and his colleagues are determined to find cause of these attacks. but the search for answers points them to an ancient relic, The Book of War, a cursed artifact that can create indestructible creatures loyal to its master. It’s been over twelve thousand years since the Book of War was last opened. It was believed to be destroyed during the Great War by the Twelve Warriors and Daughter of the Sun at the cost of their lives. Now, it seems the book has resurfaced, and its new master is seeking to forever tip the balance of power. The stage is being set for another Great War but who can stop the Book of War once and for all? Meanwhile on Earth, the teen members of Greengale’s Action and Adventure Club are preparing for their yearly trip when they suddenly stumble upon a secret their parents have been keeping for years. Now their world is being turned upside down as they struggle to understand the legacy that ties their fate to Mendala and the Book of War. Is their destiny set in stone, or will they forge a different path? No matter what, their choices will bring forth a new era for Mendala. ------------------------------ If you love vast fantasy worlds, rich, fleshed-out characters, and a adventure where your'e constantly discovering new things along the way, then this is definitely a story you'll enjoy. This is a slow-burn high fantasy / adventure with many characters and intersecting plotlines. It’s a quest so lots of adventuring, exploring, and character moments, but not a ton of fighting/action (though there are definitely some great fight scenes as payoff to the buildup). Because it’s a fantasy world with lots of people and new concepts, I try to make it easy so that you don’t have to memorize anything. The narrative will constantly remind you of important people/places/concepts as you keep moving forward. Some things won’t be fully explained right at the beginning to avoid information overload. My goal is that the reader will learn things organically as the story progresses. I use two mechanisms to help with the intersecting plotlines. - Each chapter is named for the (main) plotline it’s following and which part. - At the beginning of the chapter, and anytime there is a scene shift, the location is listed. Also, though this is definitely a portal-fantasy (isekai) it’s different from the standard isekai, especially since the world transfer doesn’t happen immediately. It’s not Lit-RPG but characters gain powers and grow over time. Also, it’s a group of teens that transfer, not just one central character. All of the teens are distinct characters, with their own character-arcs, relationships, powers, growth etc. Hopefully you’ll find this interesting as you’ll see the world and story from multiple perspectives. The story is always in 3rd Person (Omniscient) POV so that it’s not jarring as perspectives shift.
