《Our Eternity : Emmett Cullen x Reader》I Thought You Were Dead

Bella and I ran up the stairs and entered the door to the house. Everything was dark until I switched on a light. Both Bella and I jumped in surprise to see Alice's beautiful pale face in the kitchen doorway, right next to us. Though she looks positively confused and terrified to see us.
"Alice?" I said being the first one to get out of my state of shock. I jumped into her arm's and hugged her tightly.
"Alice!" Bella joined in.
"(Y/n), Bella?" Alice looked at us shocked.
"What are you? I'm sorry, I just— I can't believe you're here." Bella stammered in disbelief as we both backed off from her.
"Would you like to explain to me how you're both alive?" She exclaimed. Bella and I both furrowed our eyebrows at her word's.
"Huh?" I questioned her.
"I saw a vision of you two. You jumped off a cliff! Why in the hell would you try to kill yourself's? What about Charlie?" She scolded.
"We didn't..." I said quietly.
"We weren't trying to kill ourselves. It's called Cliff jumping... It was fun." Bella offered up a explanation for our actions. Alice scoffed.
"I have never met another pair of people more prone to life threading idiocy!" Alice scolded us, leading to the living room.
"Did you... tell?...." Bella stuttered trying to ask curiously. Alice glanced at Bella sadly and to me almost curiously. I looked back at her confused.
"Edward, no. I didn't. He only calls to check in every few months. Said he wanted to be alone." Alice explained to her, making her face drop.
"And..." I choked on my words.
"(Y/n)?"
A voice I hadn't heard in 6 months called out to me. One I honestly thought I'd never hear again. It was a deep sultry sounding voice. I almost didn't even want to turn my head to look. Fearing that it was just my mind was playing some kind of sick trick on me. I shut my eyes tightly and turned my head towards the kitchen. I slowly open my eyes, to peek. Only to meet a pair of golden orbs looking back at me. There he stood in all his glory. Emmett Cullen. A large, built, man with dark hair, paler than pale skin. I froze in my spot on the couch. Unable to move, unable to speak, unable to cry or yell.
"I think she's in shock." Bella whispered to Alice. Bella nudged me gently taking me out of my frozen state.
"Emmett? Is that really you?" I whispered quietly. He just nodded in response unsure of how I was going to react.
"It's really him, (Y/n)." Alice said with a bright smile.
Everything in me screamed. I wanted to yell at him for breaking my heart. I wanted to cry because even if it was just for today, seeing him again was so amazing. I stood up doing the one thing I really wanted. Running over to Emmett jumping into his welcoming, open arm's. Emmett held me tightly around the waist and lifted me off the floor. My leg's curling around him and my hand's wrapping around the back of his neck. I buried my face into the crook of his neck. I couldn't even bring myself to cry in this moment. I was just so happy to see him, to feel his arms around me again. Emmett placed me back down and placed his hand's on my cheeks. The familiar cold large hands, I missed so much. I leaned into his touch.

His face scrunched slightly.
"I really hate this to be the first set of word's coming out of my mouth after seeing you again. But what is that god-awful wet dog smell?" He asked.
"Oh, god... That's uhm... me... us." I stepped back and shrugged off my jacket. Bella stood up and took her's off too. We stood next to each other with Alice and Emmett standing in front of us waiting for an explanation.
"It's, uh, Jacob." I said looking to the floor guiltily.
"Jacob who?" Alice asked us with a scrunched nose. Emmett groaned slightly.
"Jacob Black..." I said. When I looked up to see Emmett looking at me. He looked slightly down at the floor with a sad expression.
"Jacob's kind of a werewolf." Bella explained further.
Alice sighed loudly.
"Bella and (Y/n) Swan. Werewolves are not good company to keep!"
"Speak for yourself." Jacob voiced entering the living room. Alice moved in surprise and Emmett crossed his arms. Jacob glared at Emmett and then looked towards us with soft eyes. "I had to see you were safe." He looked directly at me. I sighed and shook my head.
"I thought you couldn't protect me here?" I raised an eyebrow at him.
"I guess, I don't care." He said meaningfully.
"Well we aren't going to hurt them." Alice scrunched her face and spoke up.
"No, you're just a set of harmless Cullen's." Jacob scoffed. "I'm talking about the other bloodsucker who tried to kill (Y/n) and Bella, because of you."
"Rosalie got your message." Emmett spoke up quietly, looking at me with longing eyes.
"But I didn't see her." Alice explained to us.
"Well Victoria's definitely been around." Bella shrugged.
"I also didn't see either of you get pulled out of the water." She glanced between Bella and I. Alice turned her head to face Jacob. Her eyes narrowing. "I can't see past you and your pack of mutts." Alice growled.
"Don't get me upset." Jacob snarled back at her. Emmett went to step forward, but I jumped in between them.
"Hey. Stop." I put my hand's on Jacob's chest and a serious expression on my face, letting him know I meant it.
"Or things are going to get very ugly." Jacob continued. He pushed forward against my hands. I was doing my best to push him backwards.
"Stop, stop, stop. Can I talk to you for a minute?" I glared at Jacob. I looked back at Alice, Bella and Emmett giving them all a pleading look.
"We will give you a minute. We'll be right outside if you need us." Alice said sweetly and I nodded back at her gratefully. The three of them walked outside. Jacob and I walked into the kitchen where he started pacing.
"He has some nerve showing his face here." Jacob growled. I smacked his arm as he walked by me.

"Jacob." I glared angrily at him. He stopped and finally looked at me.
"Are there others? How many Cullen's are here, and how long are they staying." Jacob spit out quickly.
"No, it's just them. And they can stay as long as they'd like." I brushed past him hitting him with my shoulder on they way by towards the kitchen sink. "Is there anything else?" I said bitterly.
"So that's it then? He comes back and you're just going to forgive him for stomping on your heart?" He scoffed.
"Jacob, he's been here for all of five minutes. I haven't even had the chance to talk to him since you barged in!" I tossed my hand's into the air and turned away from him. I was so angry at him for his insinuation.
"I've done it again." He sighed. "I keep breaking my promise. I shouldn't have jumped to conclusions..."
"We don't need to do this to each other." I said quietly, holding back tear's. He turned me around and got up close.
"Yes we do." He stepped towards me and placed a hand on my cheek. "(Y/n)... Kwop Kilawtley (stay with me forever)." He began to lean in to try to kiss me. His nose brushed against mine and his lips almost connecting. Before I could decide what I wanted. Whether to slip away or allow it. The phone began to ring. Jacob sighed pulling away and he answered the phone.
Bella came walking around the corner. I stepped over to her.
"Swan residence." Jacob said into the receiver.
"Are they still out there?" I whispered to her. She nodded.
"Don't worry, I explained this to him." She whispered in my ear, gesturing subtly between me and Jacob. I mouthed a thank you to her.
"He's not here right now. He arranging a funeral." He said bitterly into the phone. Both Bella and I looked at him curiously.
"Who was that?" I asked him.
"We have a problem." Emmett said returning with Alice right behind him.
"What happened?" Bella looked at them curiously.
"Rose told him we were here." Emmett replied giving Bella a look of pity.
"Edward thinks you're both dead. She told him why we came." Alice gave us a look of fear.
"What?! Why? Was that him on the phone? Why didn't you let me speak to him!" Bella shouted terrified.
"I didn't know! He didn't ask for you!" Jacob yelled back angrily.
"You need to step back." Emmett said gruffly, taking steps between us as Jacob heated up in anger.
Jake's eye's land on mine. Giving me a both angry and scared look. I knew what it was. He was telling us to get back. I grabbed Bella's arm and stepped back a bit. Just in case.
"Don't come any closer to me." Jacob snarled. Emmett growled back at him.
"Bella, he's going to the Volturi. He wants to die too." Alice grabbed her shoulder and spoke to her grimly. Trying to get her to focus on the situation. Bella looked at her and nodded. The boy's stopped for a minute and the four of us rushed outside. Jacob trailing right behind.
Alice and Bella jumped into the car. Emmett walked beside me as we rushed towards the back of the vehicle.
"He left you, (Y/n). He didn't want you anymore, remember? You're just going to leave with him?" Jacob angrily called out, following behind me.
"Emmett, go." I gave him a serious look.
I knew if I didn't make him walk away this was going to spiral out of control. He shook his head, but stepped a bit closer to the car. I turned back and looked at Jacob angrily.
"Yes, he did. I deserve an explanation. And I'll get one. But right now, because of you, there's something even bigger at hand."
"It doesn't involve you!" He shouted at me, throwing his hands in the air. He stepped closer.
"It involves my sister! If she wants me there, then I'm going to be there!" I yelled back just as angrily.
Emmett held a hand on my shoulder and Jacob glared at the gesture.
"I need her there!" Bella shouted from the car.
"See? I'm going!" I huffed. We turned on our heel's and quickly climbed into the car.
Jacob followed and stopped at the open car window.
"What about your dad?"
"We are 18, Jacob. Legally free to come and go. Plus, Bella left a note." I pointed out.
"Please, (Y/n). Don't choose him. Please stay. For Charlie, for me. I'm begging you." Jacob gave me a pleading look.
"I..."
"We have to leave now." Alice said urgently. Jacob backed away from the car and looked to the ground.
"Goodbye Jacob." I said quietly and sit back in my seat with a sigh.
Alice peeled out of the driveway and we headed toward's the airport.

How The Weak Live
This was a rough draft. Quite a meh one. The newer version is These Games of Ours. ---------- Lucious is deserter among many, living by dagger and beggary. Argento’s thirst for knowledge is endless, as is his belly. Kora is the perfect soldier, yet her sword grows dull in monotony. Formally known as the Empire's legend, the Captain is now stuck in stagnation. The Gods, grown weary of human deeds, have decided to indulge themselves in a different way. -------------- THE 7 REALLY IMPORTANT STUFF Clichés shall be avoided like the cancerous tumors they are. The world shall not spread its pink butt cheeks for the main character’s convenience. No character shall be thinner than one slice of white American cheese. No female character shall serve to highlight how overpowered and fabulous the main character is. No villain shall serve to highlight how overpowered and fabulous the main characters are. Grammar laws shall be upheld sometimes. I, the author, swear not to be a prick. I, the author, swear not to go away without warning. If other LitRPGs are like Skyrim, then this is going to be a combination of Dark Souls and Total War. Don't expect action for the sake of action. Be warned, this is a slow novel. Read the reviews to see if this novel is a decent fit for you. Disclaimer: I do not own that gorgeous cover art.

Magikind [Original]
The third millennia, a time of change and evolution. An era, where people, through countless generations, have evolved strange powers and abilities. Through several centuries of selective breeding, these beings, known as mages, have become part of the very foundations of society. However, some refused to change or adapt. They believed in purity and refused to interbreed with magikind. Known as the manush, they were a rarity among society. Now, in the fifth millennia, the manush are thought extinct. With magikind ruling the world, a three-way war grips society. In these uncertain times, a manush called Gin, will herald a new era for all Magikind. A story of how man could realistically evolve while still pushing boundaries. Disclaimer: Chapters will be edited once the first volume is done. Bear the beginning for the time being, and hopefully you can see my writing improving over time (I've learnt a lot on how to write because of this (though I'm still not perfect :P)) Proud Member of Writers to the End, WriTE The link to the pledged fictions PS. If you find the 'notes' too boring or too info-dumpy, feel free to skip them and just read the main chapters. They're there for the reader to understand Gin's world (written in the perspective of Gin). But later on, we can see some interactions between the main characters and the occasional references to his past in the notes, so it has its purpose.
