5 months later, you and Gajeel are still going strong. Gray and Juvia still have minor problems, but Gray is starting to open up to Juvia. Natsu and Lucy are getting closer, and Laxus and Mirajane aren't going to bad. It may have been a dare, but it seems that Laxus just may be into Mira, and they aren't having fake dates anymore. Everyone in the guild is great.
Gildarts came back from a quest not to long ago, and Cana started to visit Quattro Cerberus to hang out with the alcoholics there.
"Hey Cana," you nudged her shoulder. "Do you like Bacchus?" You asked.
"What? Why...Pfft...me? Like Bacchus?" She made it quite obvious she likes Bacchus.
"You like him." you quickly said.
"Yea I like him...a bit." Cana confessed.
"I knew it." you smirked. "you gonna tell him?"
"Maybe," Cana took a sip from her beer.
"Has anyone seen Erza lately?" Lucy said.
"Actually no," you realized Erza hasn't been at the guild lately.
"That's strange," Gray stated.
"She's usually the first one here," Natsu exclaimed.
"Hmm..." Lucy hummed. Just then, Erza blasted through the doors, happier than you've ever seen her before.
"Guys, guess what?" She had an ear-to-ear smile on her face. You jumped off the table you were sitting on and went towards her.
"Well someone's happy," you chuckled. Lucy headed towards you as Erza ran towards you.
"So what's up?" Lucy asked. Erza held up her hand. There was a gold ring on one of her fingers with a diamond on the top.
"That's a cute ring. Where'd you get it?" You asked.
"Jellal and I are engaged!" Erza chirped.
"What?!" You and Lucy yelled.

Erza stood up in a table at the centre of the guild.
"Attention Fairy Tail!" Erza shouted. She held up her hand. The diamond sparkled. "Jellal and I are getting married!"
Everyone was pretty happy for Erza.
"That explains her guild absences." you rolled your eyes and sighed. "She's been doing it all," you couldn't help but snicker at the thought.
"That's great, Erza!" Mira shouted.
"Congrats Erza." Master Makarov said, sipping on his liquor.
"When's the wedding?" Gray asked.
"Juvia should be asking you when our wedding should be." Juvia said to Gray with hearts in her eyes.
"It's this summer and the whole guild's invited!" Erza yelled.
"I honestly think she should watch out for Jellal's demons to come back." Natsu scoffed.
You elbowed his stomach "You knocked that out of him a long time ago!" You told him.
"I did?"
"My. God." you face palmed and shook your head.
Gajeel headed over to you.
"Hey, Gajeel" you said, softly kissing his cheek.
"Everyone's growing up so fast, Makarov." Gildarts said. "It's exciting to see how the next generation of Fairy Tail is going to look like."
"Next thing you know, my children will be all grown up." Makarov took a sip of his liquor.
"And their kids will be running this place," Gildarts chuckled. It was quite an emotional moment for the master.
"It's great to see my guild in such good hands!" Mavis chirped.
"Master Mavis?!" Gildarts and Makarov were shocked to see the first master.
"This guild has a very bright future!" Mavis said.
"Indeed it does." Makarov said.
"I believe that you just might be the next master, Gildarts." Mavis grinned.
"Nope, I had the chance, and I couldn't take it." Gildarts sighed.

"It's funny to think that these powerful wizards used to be small children. It almost feels like yesterday." Makarov smiled at the scene of Erza and her friends all happy.
"Natsu could be a nice master," Mavis thought out loud.
"I wouldn't want him running the place if I were you..." Makarov chuckled.
"Speaking of Natsu, isn't Natsu's birthday soon?" Gildarts asked.
"Yea, but (Y/n)'s is in two days; December 20th." Makarov said.
"It's nice to have a birthday so close to Christmas." Mavis drew circles on the counter.
"It makes sense she's so preppy all the time." Makarov sipped his liquor.

Gajeel and Lily were out looking for a nice present to give you for your birthday. He barely knew what you wanted, so he wasn't looking for something in particular. They were inside an electronics store.
"Hey bud, do you think she'll like these?" Gajeel put on a pair of blue headphones.
"No, she already has a pair." Lily sighed. "Three pairs, actually."
The two boys walked out the store and started to walk around Magnolia. It started to snow.
"It's so cold out here." Gajeel shivered.
"How are you even cold? You're wearing nearly one hundred layers." Lily scolded.
"Whatever man," Gajeel rolled his eyes.
Suddenly, something caught Lily's eye.
"How much do you love (Y/n)?" Lily asked.
"More than words can describe." Gajeel said "I'd take more than a bullet for her."
"Get her that." Lily pointed at the display.
"I don't know, man. Isn't it too early for that?" Gajeel was unsure.
"Give it a shot." Lily told Gajeel.

You saw the snow outside and decided to play in the snow. You put on your
Black jacket and mits and headed outside. You slipped in some ice, and fell on your tush. You smirked and started to clear the snow away.
Soon enough there was a whole ice rink in front of your house. You created little blades under your boots and started to skate around. You truly loved to skate, and you've been doing it ever since you were little. You even remembered when you'd ask Gray to make you an ice rink during the summer, just so you could skate.
You started to do some double axels, since those were the only tricks you could do without failing miserably.
Gajeel was heading towards your house, and you saw his shadow in the distance.
"Hey Gajeel!" You waved. He ran to you and slipped on the ice. A tick mark appeared on his forehead. Lily was holding a tiny, silver gift bag.
"What's in the bag?" You ask.
"Screws." Gajeel got back up. You made little blades on the bottom of his shoes.
"Have you ever skated?" You ask, taking his hand.
"Yea, I'm pretty good. I guess" he tested out the blades and skated around the ice.
"Y'know (Y/n), your birthday is pretty close to Christmas." Lily said.
"Yea, but Natsu's is too." you said. "exactly 27 days younger than me."
"I see," Lily smiled.
Gajeel held out a hand. "shall we?"
"We shall." you took Gajeel's hand and you two started to skate. He twirled you around on the ice. It was a perfect day. The snow flurried down, and the small stream was frozen.
Lily smiled at the scene of seeing Gajeel so happy with you. It was almost like an unexpected date. You skated with Gajeel the whole afternoon.

The Dreamside Road
Five years after the world fell into chaos, a treasure of artifacts is up for grabs. The relics of the Dreamside Road offer a power that could help rebuild or annihilate what remains. Enoa Cloud’s late aunt helped hide the Dreamside Road, but following in her aunt’s supernatural tradition offers her as much peril as power. Together, Orson and Enoa battle a magic-obsessed militia, clash with a host of rivals, and face constant adventure on their journey to find the Dreamside Road. *Updates Monday and Friday The Dreamside Road is now on TopWebFiction! Vote so people know this exists. _____________________________________ NOTE: The Progression tag applies specifically to Enoa. Also, fair warning, that element doesn't enter the story until she begins her studies. Content: Main characters range in age from teenagers to people in their thirties and older, but it will not contain gratuitous violence or explicit sexual content. It also won’t shy away from implication, anything to make this story and its world feel more real. Characters will freely allude to potentially triggering topics, including living with a disability, facing terminal illness, coping with trauma, surviving societal destabilization, and the consequences of bigotry. At its most intense, the Dreamside Road is a hard PG-13. Worldbuilding: This is not a story with a lot of early exposition scenes, conveniently explaining ‘magic systems’ and political dynamics. Readers will learn, progressively, as the characters do. This story/world has a ‘magic system’, or rather, a set of systems, but the effort to quantify and understand the truth of the setting plays a role in the backstory, as well as in some character motivations. In that same vein, not every character has a firm grasp on the nature of their world, and not every piece of dialog from every character should be taken as entirely truthful Worldbuilding. Also, this isn't the softest Sci-fi. There are at least some basic explanations given for various elements, but Royal Road does not give me a spectrum to choose from. Given the choice between hard and soft, let's just say The Dreamside Road won't be cited in any college Physics papers. Setting and Theme: The Dreamside Road walks the line between fantasy and science fiction and deals with finding one’s place in a changing world. Many of the characters in this story are United States natives and the story begins in the United States, my homeland. However, knowledge or interest in this country is not necessary to understand the story, especially as it progresses. Also, as this is a novel that deals with societal collapse and while that damage may be widespread, in story, I don’t want to overstep and critique the culture of others’ unless I have particular knowledge in a given area. Ultimately, the Dreamside Road is American in the same way Harry Potter is English, fantasies that do not have a full secondary world, but with enough original elements to fully diverge the setting from our the real world.
