You woke up this morning and remembered what day it was; your birthday!

You quickly got dressed in your black sweater and ripped jeans. You put your hair into two Dutch braids that hung over your shoulders and tied your bandana in your hair as usual. You quickly slipped on your converse and ran to the guild.

You kicked down the door and saw nobody there. You just laughed and shook your head.

"Come out!" You yelled. "you do this every year!"

"Guess you got us," Gray came out from under a table and scratched the back of his neck. "But..."

"SURPRISE!" Everyone surprised you from behind.

"Ahh!" You got startled but you started laughing. "Something more prone to a heart attack, I see." you giggled.

Cana put an arm around your shoulders. She held up a whisky bottle in the other.

"Come and see what Gray's present is." she lead you to a small frozen pond about 2 minutes away from the guild.

You were in shock. A whole pond was frozen!

Gray made ice blades under everyone's shoes and everyone got on the ice. It was little chilly but it didn't quite bother you. You skated your heart out.

"Ayee," Cana pointed her fingers at you after you perfectly landed a double axel.

"Bet I can do better." Gray smirked. He started to back up and he landed a perfect triple axel. You really wanted to do better but you were nervous that you'd get hurt.

"Oh really? Let's see about that!" You shouted.

"Attention everyone! Gray and (Y/n) are going to have a skate-off!" Cana shouted.

Everyone cleared to the sides of the ice in anticipation. You and Gray used to do this a lot when you were little. You and Gray skated circles, exchanging smirks. Gray did another triple axel.

Some people "ooh-ed."

Gray smirked. You started to pick up your speed and turned around. You jumped and attempted a triple axel. You did three, then four turns in the air and surprisingly enough, perfectly landed a quad. Yea, you were happy but you tried to act cool.

"Haha! Beat that Jack Frost!" You snickered, extremely proud of yourself.

Gray then picked up his pace and lifted a leg in the air and started to do a small combo.

The guild clapped at you and voted that you were better.

"Your always one-uping me," Gray chuckled.

Everyone got off the ice and headed towards the guild. Erza headed inside first and got her present.

"Happy birthday (Y/n)!" She handed you a wrapped box. You started to unwrap the box, revealing...a new pair of rose-gold headphones that you've wanted for a super long time!

"Aww thank you Erza!" You hugged Erza and thanked her for the wonderful gift.

"Why couldn't we just buy her those headphones?" Gajeel sighed.

"Don't look at me! I just thought she had enough pairs!" Lily put his hands up in surrender.

"Happy birthday." Gajeel kissed your cheek.

"Hey Gajeel." you turned around and softly kissed his lips.

"What was that just now?" Gildarts yelled at Makarov, just witnessing your kiss.

"Oh? They've been dating for quite some time now. Almost a year now." Makarov explained

"(Y/n)? Dating?" Gildarts started to laugh. "that's got to be the silliest thing I've ever heard."

"It's true, go ask her." Makarov said.

"I believe you." Gildarts turned around and smiled at the scene of the happy teenagers.

Every time Gildarts saw the guild members he imagined them as children, remembering when the were just small and tiny. Gildarts' eyes started to water.

"They've grown up." Gildarts wiped a tear off his face, accepting the fact that you and your friends were no longer children.

You were drinking booze with Cana, as you usually do.

"Cheers!" You and Cana held up your drinks and lightly tapped them together.

Asuka came up to you and handed you a very long wrapped box.

"This is from me, mommy and papa!" she smiled.

You took the gift and placed it on a table. You lifted Asuka up.

"Your so cute, y'know that?" You tapped Asuka's nose and she laughed.

Alzack and Bisca came towards you. You put Asuka down. You unwrapped the box and opened it. You saw a rifle inside the box.

"A rifle?" You were a bit confused.

"You got those new Requip forms and one of them allows you to use gun magic." Alzack stated.

"And we realized you only had two shot guns and a sniper," Bisca said. She lifted the gun. "So we got you this to add to your collection."

You remembered that everything Bisca and Alzack said was true. You shook your head and face palmed in embarrassment.

"Thanks, I completely forgot about that." You pulled in Alzack and Bisca for a hug. You held up the gun and quickly switched to your Army Armour.

You aimed the gun at the doors and fired it. Three bullets came flying out of the gun and hit the doors, creating three holes. You looked up.

"Oops," you said.

You got back into your normal clothes and the pistol disappeared with your armour.

"That'll be useful." Cana said, sipping on her booze.

"Not in here," you sweatdropped.

Makarov waved at you and asked you to sit next to him. You went over to the bar and sat next to him.

"Happy birthday (Y/n)." He said. "you're 20 years old now."

"I feel kinda old." you giggled.

"Wait till your my age." Makarov sighed.

He then handed you an envelope. You opened it up and read the card. Inside the card was 1000 jewels.

"Spend it on whatever you want." Makarov took a sip of his liquor.

"Thanks Master!" you said.

"Oh and one more thing. I'm promoting you to S-class." he said.

You were shocked. "Wait, S-what?"

"Mm hmm, S-class."

"Oh my god, thank you master!" You hugged the master.

You looked around the guild. Gajeel wasn't anywhere. Sting, Rogue, and Yukino came through the door and saw you immediately.

"Happy birthday, (Y/n)!" Sting shouted.

"You guys know too?" You were in shock, again.

"Yea and we found you the perfect gift." Yukino smiled. Rogue held up an egg. And exceed egg.

"Since you dont have an exceed, we found an exceed egg, and decided to give it to you!" Rogue said.

"Thanks!" You took the egg and put it near the heater under the counter.

Suddenly, you noticed Gajeel in his white tux, holding your guitar, on the stage.

"Oh no." you face palmed, laughing a little. Gajeel started to sing a song, for you, obviously.

Gajeel gestured for you to get into the stage and, to be honest, you were hesitating because of embarrassment. You got onto the stage anyways.

You looked at Gajeel and he took off his hat and glasses. He knelt down on one knee and took something out of his pockets. You gasped and covered your mouth with your hands. He opened up the case to reveal a diamond ring.

"(Y/n), I know we only started dating a year ago, but I want to be with you forever. Will you make me the happiest man alive and...marry me?" Gajeel said.

The whole guild was watching. And three Sabertooth members.

"Holy shit. Oh my god yes! Yes yes!" You were too happy for words.

Gajeel stood back up. You jumped into his arms and kissed him. The guild cheered for you two.

"MARRY?" Gildarts spit out his booze.

He was too surprised for words. He remembered how you once told him love is fake and it always ends up stabbing you in the back. I guess that just because of your first breakup. And now that you were getting married, he thought you were a completely different person.

The guild partied all night long. It was 11:00 pm and everyone was asleep on the guild floors. Except you. You weren't even at the guild. You had dropped off your exceed egg at home at around 8:00, and covered it in 3 warm blankets.

Right now, you were outside, sitting on a cliff that overlooked all of Magnolia, fiddling with the engagement ring in your finger. You looked at the lit up Magnolia, the christmas lights filling up the village with colours.

'Was it even a good idea to say yes?' You thought, looking at the ring.

The diamonds sparkled in the moonlight. Your life was going way too quickly for you to take it all in. S-class, an exceed, marriage. Next thing you know, you and Gajeel will have kids.

You heard footsteps behind you. You turned to see who it was; Gajeel.

"Hey." Gajeel sat next to you. He had changed out of his tux and had grey sweatpants on, and a black sweater on. His hair was in a high ponytail.

You didn't make any eye contact with him and just looked at the bright village.

"What's up?" He asked you.

"Nothing." you sighed, fiddling with your ring "it's just that my life is moving way to quickly."

"Yea, I thought it was kinda early to ask you..." Gajeel looked down.

"No, it's not that, it's just that I don't know what's going to happen next. I just have a feeling that something bad is going to happen." You said.

"Whatever happens, I hope we'll be together." Gajeel put a hand over yours. You held his warm hand tightly.

"You know, before I met you, I thought that love was fake and stabs you in the back." you chuckled. "You're only my second boyfriend..."

"I didn't even know what love was before I met you." Gajeel sighed.

You stared into his deep burgundy eyes. He stared into your hazel eyes.

You looked away and let go of his hand. You stood up and started to walk away. Before you could go far, you felt Gajeel grab your hand from behind.

He walked in front of you and stared at you. You stared at the ground. He lifted up your chin. Your eyes locked. Gajeel leaned in for a kiss and so did you. Lily was hiding behind a bush and saw everything. He took a picture because he thought it would be cute to frame.

The kiss started off soft but became more passionate. Gajeel had his hands around your waist and pulled you closer. Your hands were behind his neck. You started to caress the back of his neck with your thumbs. You broke the kiss, a string of saliva connecting your lips together.

"Stay with me tonight." You said.
