"Damn it Tobio.. why couldn't you just go to the nearest store and get it yourself?" I mumbled to myself. A few buses and a bike ride was all it took to get to his fancy training camp.
He had forgot his ear buds, tooth paste, and he only had one pair of socks for five days.
I sighed as I kicked up my bike's kickstand. I had taken a small break on the side of the road. If I booked it I could get there by lunch time. Which was the original plan because mom packed him a lunch.
Why was it my responsibility to take care of Tobio? Because he's my twin brother. And mom's favorite.
I turned into the empty parking lot of the school the training camp took place in. I took the backpack filled with Tobio's things and headed inside.
It took some wondering around to find him. The place had a few gyms.
I walked through the open doors of the gym and instantly stepped out. It was warm and smelled like teenage boys in there. I took a deep breath from outside and walked over to one of the coaches.
"Hi, my mom called beforehand.. I have Tobio's things," I said and he nodded. He gestured to Tobio stretching on the floor.
I thanked him and bowed quickly.
I walked over to him and kicked the sole of his shoe. He looked up and his eyes widened slightly.
"F/n, thanks for bringing this stuff," he said quietly and his eyes shifted around the room.
"Who are you looking at?" I asked quietly wondering if he was looking for someone. He stood up and lowkey towered over me.
"No one.." he said and looked inside the bag.
I turned around very conspicuously and noticed quite a few people had their attention on us. "Tobio why are they staring?" I said and crossed my arms out of insecurity.
"Nothing," he huffed. "Well thanks F/n you can go home now," he added and pushed me towards the door.

"Whoa it took me like an hour to get here!" I protested. "I haven't even had breakfast!"
"Kageyama where are you and your friend going?" A guy said to us.
"Broccoli," our twin telepathy spoke.
"Oh she was just going.." he said and continued to move me towards the door.
"It's lunch you're not going to invite her to stay?" Broccoli said.
Tobio sighed and grabbed my arm. "Fine let's go," he said and pulled me to the lunch room. He had to tell me everything not to do while we walked. He also told me to stay clear of everyone.
The coaches were kind enough to let me eat there. And Tobio was kind enough to let me sit with him and Broccoli. Trust me he would make me sit alone back in junior high.
"Kageyama I didn't know we could bring dates to trainin camp," a voice spoke and approached us. He had thick eyebrows and yellow blonde hair.
"Eh Atsumu, this is Kageyama F/n, we're twins," Kageyama sweat dropped and nodded towards me. I only blinked at him. "F/n this is Miya Atsumu. And stop staring."
I immediately looked down. "Nuffs-uh nice to meet you," I mumbled.
I could see his shit eating smirk in the reflection of my glass.
I looked at Tobio who looked only slightly amused at Miya. Well this was awkward. But you know what would make it more awkward?
Miya sat down next to me. I slowly turned to him and he smirked.
"Tobio get this Sangwoo guy out of my face!" I tried to use my twin telepathy. But apparently he didn't get the psychic message.
"Twin eh? I have a twin," he said. "You play volleyball Kageyama #2?"
Kageyama #2?
"Uh yeah I do actually," I answered and turned to him. "Setter."
Tobio cleared his throat and Miya raised his eyebrows. "I'm a setter. It's like we're the same person."
"Okay F/n i think you should go home now," Tobio said. He hauled me out of the seat and started pulling me by the wrist to the door.

I felt another pull on my other wrist. I turned to see Miya slightly tugging at my wrist. Ohhh nooo
"Hold on Kageyamas we still have ten more minutes ta eat. Why don't we get to know each other," Miya said innocently.
Tobio and I turned our heads in sync to Miya.
They both let go of my wrists and I stumbled with a small oof. Tobio and Miya had a small passive stare off.
As Miya wished I sat back down and continued eating. I glanced at Tobio and he seemed annoyed. I know he's not the most outgoing, but silence was not very comforting right now.
"So.. Miya, what team do you play for?" I asked trying to make things less awkward.
"Inarizaki," he replied and looked pleased that I initiated conversation.
"No way! I have a friend that goes there," I commented. "Hey Tobio remember Yami-chan?" He looked up and nodded. Atsumu smiled slightly seeing me get excited suddenly.
"She and I were unstoppable on the court, she's on your girl's team," I told him while remembering my old friend.
"Unstoppable huh? I'd like ta see that," he said and the aura around our table darkened. I smiled politely and glanced at Tobio.
"Well She should probably get going now-" Tobio started but was cut off.
"Ne Kageyama who's this?" A voice wandered in. We turned out heads to a shorter, white haired boy who had asked. He deadass looked like a bird.
"I'm Kageyama f/n, Tobio's twin and I'm a setter for Karasuno's girl's team," I said quickly before Tobio could give a vague answer.
"I'm Hoshiumi Korai," he said. "Wing spiker. You're a setter?"
I nodded. His expression hardened slightly and he moved closer to me.
"How tall are you?" He asked.
"5'5."
"What's your vertical jump?"
"300 centimeters."
He smirked and left. His expression basically said "I win." I looked at Tobio and he was leaning his face against his hand.
"Now do you understand why you should have just left?" He asked. I thought he was being kind of rude so I played dumb.
"No," he looked up quickly and glared at me. "I think everyone here is chill and I'm glad I met them." To fan the flame I turned to Atsumu. "I'm really glad I met you too," I said and looked at Atsumu with soft eyes.
Next thing I knew I was being pulled by Tobio. He grabbed my stuff and was rushing me out of the cafeteria. I tried to slow him down, but his bigger build was to his advantage.
"Ne slow down Tobio!" I said and slapped his arm. I felt something being nudged into my hand and I looked back. Atsumu was trying to shove something in my hand.
I grabbed it and he took off with a smirk. Tobio noticed and tried to grab what Atsumu gave me. I shoved it in my pocket where Tobio couldn't get it.
He sighed and continued dragging me to my bike.
"I love you f/n, have a good trip back, thanks for the stuff again, tell mom I say hi," he said quickly and gave me a brief hug.
I laughed and he pulled back. "What?" He questioned.
"You're so protective of me Tobio," I said and smiled. He smiled back and I was on my way.
When I got home I changed out of my clothes and something fell from my pocket. Oh yeah Atsumu's note.
I opened it and it was a phone number. I smiled to myself and mentally apologized to Tobio as I took out my phone to text the number.
-Kageyama's POV-
"F/n what did you do?" I questioned myself. I shook my head and remembered what f/n was always going on about. Twin telepathy...

First of all, thank you for taking an interest and read my story. This is a story I've been working through all my life. But since I'm a first-time writer, I wanted to start with something small. This is just a small part of something much greater that hopefully one day I'll be able to translate into words as well. I will try to make it interesting as possible but please bear with me. Please understand that English is not my native language, I worked really hard to write in English the best I could. So please if you find any typos and grammar errors let me know. I'll try to upload new chapters as soon as I can. Although I had originally planned to deliver a chapter a MONTH, I think the real estimate would be a chapter EVERY 3 MONTHS since I also have to earn the daily bread. Cover picture made by me. The background picture is from Google but I modified it enough from the original. The story is also available on Wattpad, Inkitt, Scribblehub, and Webnovel.

Unique Fusion Magic Hex
World Essence. The mysterious energy coursing throughout the entire land of Vor'ten, and very possibly the entire world. This energy has allowed humanity to flourish, building great empires and vast kingdoms, conquering nature itself with just a sweep of their hand. Humans were the strongest existence, and with the help of channeling this World Essence, many were able to turn into Magic Knights, gaining magical abilities to combat the various fierce beasts throughout the lands.Alas... those glory days of old were long gone. Humanity has now been pushed to the brink of destruction, and now the remaining members of the human race are encased within giant domes known as 'Alkkras', made with the last remaining bits of the World Essence. It was said that those giant domes were the last gifts left by the remnants of the ancient human race, as a means to protect the future generation from the attacks of the many wild beasts roaming outside. Five Spiritualist Invokers, all combined together, used the last bit of the World Essence and sacrificed their lives to lay a gigantic, 1028-seal formation magic array to form these barriers, forever saving humanity, but also trapping humanity within these barriers. However, the humans were never completely helpless. No matter how little World Essence was left, the humans still had some remaining. Realizing the incoming crisis, the humans found a way to seal World Essence inside a special type of crystal. Soon, these crystals began to become implanted into weapons, turning them into World Essence Weapons, and they began to display properties of their own. Extreme heat. Bone chilling cold. Absurd sharpness. These normal weapons, after being imbued with the energy of the World Essence Crystals, began to form natural affinities to elements. Fire. Water. Earth. Wind. Darkness. Light. Using these weapons, one could become a Chevalier that wielded the power of the elements. However, if one wanted to reach a higher level of enlightenment and understanding, one could become an Invoker. Via the study of magic array formations, one could directly use the power of the World Essence to cast devastating magics upon the enemy. These people were Invokers, highly valued for their combat potential by the Army. These weapons and magical arrays were used in the great fight between the humans and the beasts long ago. They had long since been put away in storage, almost long forgotten...However, after ten-thousand years of suppression, the human race is beginning its counterattack against the Beasts... Synth was an Invoker in the Magecroft Academy. However, his talent was terrible, being only at the Spark Stage. This led to him being looked down upon and bullied. He was unable to cast any Calamity-rank or even Destruction rank spells, and was only able to cast Coalescing rank spells at the age of 17, a record low in the academy for cultivating these rare Invokers. Even though he put in more effort than anyone else, he was still unable to advance his Channeling Energy. But due to his constant research and study, Synth ended up creating a power that would go against the heavens - he had found how to Fuse spells together. After trying it out once, merging the magical array for the Small Fireball and the Mortal Judgement skills, he was able to create a mid-rank Destruction tier spell, Holy Judgement Flame. However, after this, no matter how hard he tried, he was unable to fuse more spells together or even cast them, and noticed a weird, pentagram shaped formation on his left arm. He would later call this mark the Fusion Magic Hex, a curse that prevented the wielder from casting magic that wasn't their own...This meant that with the exception of Synth's newly created skill, , he was going to have to create unique magic arrays if he ever wanted to step on the path of becoming an Invoker! This power that destroyed the laws of the Invoking System, and his unyielding persistence in testing and creating new spells, would later gain Synth the nickname the Unique Fusion Hex, and lead him to become one of the strongest beings in the entire World!
