Y/n's POV
Last day. Last day of high school.
I walked to Karasuno and mentally prepared myself for for the emotional mess waiting for me.
I remember my first year. Yachi begged me to become a co-manager with her after the third years left.
*flashback*
"Y/n! Please, just come over after school," Yachi said to me as we ate lunch together.
"I don't see why you're so obsessed with them Yachi. It's just a club," I said ignorantly.
"But they're so much more," she urged on. "They're a family. One time I was walking with Hinata and he told me Kageyama was a partner to him. It's so much more y/n."
I saw it in her eyes. I saw the pure admiration reflecting and staring back at me.
"I'll come by," I said and she squealed.
"I promise you, you'll see," she replied and we went back to eating.
*flashback ends*
I arrived at the school gates and saw many of the students happily celebrating their final day in school.
I walked to my classroom and saw Hinata.
"Last day of school y/n!" He said happily.
That was right. Hinata and I were third years, along with Tsukishima, Yamaguchi, Kageyama, and Yachi.
I smiled at him and he beamed at me. I knew for me, volleyball would fade out of my life, but the impact would never.
I never forgot Yachi's words to me when she recruited me. They were so full of passion and enthusiasm and I understood why. I understood why she cared so much about these boys.
Through the day we went on and the occasional reminder of our last day would come up. It was bittersweet.
For lunch all the volleyball third years sat together for one of the only times in their life. Yamaguchi and Tsukishima would always stray and Hinata and Kageyama would be in the gym.
But now we were all together. Just for now.

"So you guys have your universities picked out?" Yachi asked. Tsukishima and Yamaguchi nodded and they were both going to the same one.
Hinata and Kageyama sighed from the question.
"All I want to do is play volleyball. Maybe I can get a scholarship," Kageyama said and picked at his food.
"Yeah I never want to stop. And plus, I still need to beat you Kageyama," Hinata said and smirked.
All through these three years they had been friends yet still rivals. Always competing to get better. Their drive was incredible.
After lunch was more class and then club activities.
Yachi and I walked to the gym and I could tell she was sad. But who wouldn't be?
"Y/n before we go in there I.. I want you to know I'm crying because I wish I could stay her forever," she said and I hugged her.
I knew it. I knew that we'd end up crying. But who wouldn't?
I wrapped my arm around her and we entered the gym.
The players were throwing around the ball and just messing around. I smiled at the sight and held onto it.
"Give it to me!" Hinata's voice called and a harsh slam followed.
"Nice kill!" A first year called.
Yachi and I finished some things and had put together a few things for the next manager. She closed the binder and sighed.
"Yachi it's time.." I said and she nodded. "Hey guys! I know you're having fun, but we need to start getting things wrapped up," I said solemnly.
Yachi and I had a table set up and we were sorting some things.
"If you haven't turned in your jersey please do so!" Yachi called out and a few first and second years turned their in.
Hinata came up holding his jersey and looking at it like it was gold.
I put a hand over my mouth and the other on Yachi's shoulder. Yachi turned as saw Hinata standing infront of us.

Hinata turned around and addressed the room.
"If I could have a moment... I wanted to say something," he started slowly and looked at the ground. "Volleyball made me into a new person and I don't know what I would do without it. It gives me reason and drive among a lot of things. It shows me how strong I have become when I started at the very lowest. Volleyball is more than a club, and without a team we could never play. But because you all chose volleyball, we became a powerhouse team. I don't want to make this long and sad, but after being here.. at Karasuno, I can truly say I've lived. So thank you."
Yachi was clinging onto me and I was holding her around the shoulders. Tears were rolling down our faces and we both shook slightly.
Hinata turned around to us and with one last look at his jersey, he held it out to us.
"Hinata.." Yachi cried quietly.
"No. Hinata I won't take this," I said and leaned against the table. "I can't take that away from you. You are Karasuno's Little Giant."
His eyes watered and shined.
"You're the only one who deserves to wear #10," I cried and handed it back. "We'll retire the number here because it just wouldn't be the same on anyone else. You will always be Karasuno's Little Giant. No one can take that away from you and I'm not even going to try. It's yours, own it."
By now a lot of people were crying.
"Thank you y/n. This means a lot," he said and held it close to him.
After the first and second years had left it was just us third years.
"Hey guys, were gonna head out," Yamaguchi said and he and Tsukishima stood by the doorway.
"Not without a hug," I smiled and jogged over to them. Yachi followed and I hugged Tsukishima first.
"When I first met you I didn't think you could get any taller," I told him and laughed.
I hugged Yamaguchi next and sighed. "You've made an amazing captain. Daichi would be so proud," I told him and tears appeared at the edge of his eyes. "Take care."
They left and Yachi and I felt the same emptiness that had been bitting at us the whole day.
Kageyama and Hinata were still messing around in the gym. I couldn't tell them they needed to leave. It was around 8pm now though.
"Hey guys, are you going home or are you spending the rest of your lives here?" I joked and they walked over to us.
"I just can't believe this is the last time," Hinata said and looked down.
"I know, our first year feels so far away though," Kageyama added. "Stop being so sappy," he scolded Hinata, but was trying to hide his sadness.
Hinata just gave a small smile. "Let's do our quick attack one more time Kageyama!" Hinata urged and Kageyama followed.
Hinata tossed it up, Kageyama set it and a split second later it slammed to the other side of the court. They chuckled and walked back over to us.
"Thank you Kageyama," Hinata said. "Thank you for the happiest years of my life."
Hinata was crying. But smiling too.
"Thank you for being my partner."
After cleaning up we all parted ways. Yachi and I lived close so we walked together. We watched Hinata ride off on his bike and Kageyama walk the other way.
After a couple minutes Yachi started talking.
"I miss it already.. I miss all of it already," she said while sobbing. "But I'm glad I got to see their quick attack one more time."
