《Soulmate? (Killua Zoldyck x OC Sakamaki)》Chapter 2- ℍ𝕦𝕟𝕥𝕖𝕣 𝔼𝕩𝕒𝕞 𝕊𝕚𝕥𝕖

Once we landed safely on the ground I looked for the sunglasses that I kept hidden in my dress quickly.
I have to admit the sunglasses won't help very well but it'll have to do. For the time being, it'll keep the sun away from my eyes.
"As navigators, our job is to identify worthy Hunters applicants and guide them to the exam site. In other words, it would be extremely difficult for someone to reach the site without a navigator's help." The male with blue hair explained a little about the Hunter exam. And yes I haven't been paying much attention when they spoke, oh well right I mean did I have to pay attention to hearing these three humans.
One of the men that were at the stand offered something that looked almost like a frog. This world is really strange! I ignored the rest of what the man said about what he was trying to sell to us.
Then again a lot of people have been trying to sell a lot of things to me. I heard LeOreo and Kurapika speak about how shady this place was and such. This is a pretty shady place but then again I should be considered as a shady being.
We kept following the blue-haired guy to our destination. "I believe. This is the building."
The Hunter exam site was huge and so pretty. I looked at what Gon was staring at. I then hear the man who led us here speaking about something which at this point I got tired of listening.
We were mistaken where the exam site was really at apparently. It was a restaurant that didn't look very big it was pretty much simple. The confusion came from all four of us.
I zone out a lot of what they mostly said because of LeOreo sounding like an old man. We enter the restaurant to smell delicious food being cooked. Both the cook and the Blue haired man exchanged greetings to each other.
"What will you have."
"The steak combo that opens your eyes to the light. For four"
That's a weird thing to order but to be honest I would order a juicy steak maybe a bit of blood leaking down of it. That sounds nasty just saying that nothing tastes better than humans' blood. Then they started to talk about how cooked it should be. I've always been good at making desserts while I've always been bad at making food. We soon entered a small room where I immediately sat down on the chairs.
You know flying is always cool but it could be tiring depending on how often I do it. Then when I hear the door shut I see the room start to go down.

Woah! This is strange. I've never seen anything like this before. I swear I'll be surprised even more when I get to learn more about this world.
Kurapika-"The frequency with which a rookie passes the exam."
Leorio-"huh?"
Gon-"It's that unusual?"
Alright, I need to start paying more attention to what they say.
Victoria-"Wha?"
Kurapika-"Some cannot endure the exams physical and mental strain."
Ah, I see now when doing the exam there is a 50 percent chance you can pass depending on the traits. To be able to pass you should be able to have physical and mental strain meaning this exam will be hard on normal people without those two things backing them up. I continue listening to Kurapika speak of the Hunter exam.
.
.
They soon started fighting about money and being noble which was irritating me. Kurapika and Leorio were at it for a few more minutes. "Should it matter the type of job you take for a Hunter," I spoke my thoughts feeling a bit curious while Gon nodded in agreement with me. "Yes!" they screamed and continued to argue. The good thing is that I learned more about what being a Hunter is about.
As those two kept arguing while I have a rather pissed off look Gon then asked with curiosity lingering in his words.
"Hey, Victoria why are you wearing sunglasses?" Kurapika and Leorio stopped their arguing to look at me. "You can say my eyes are allergic to the sun. Unlike normal people, my eyes start to go blurry as you like to say it blind just being out in the sun." All of them nodded at me while Leorio still looked confused.
*Ding*
I sigh, finally. When we went out of the elevator it was like we were put in a sewer underground. Everyone was looking at us with such serious looks on them. I push my sunglasses down a bit to get a better look at every one. "Hello, please take your number." A green bean spoke or at least I believe it's a green bean. He gave each one of us a number. I got number 406.
"Be sure you wear this on your chest at all times. Be careful not to lose it."
Soon after a fat man with light blue clothing spoke to us. " Haven't seen you guys around."
Gon was first to speak to the unknown man. "You can tell we're new?" hmm I wondered, "That's weird," I spoke up loud which Kurapika nodded in agreement with me.
"More or less. After all, this will be my thirty-fifth attempt." I tried to hold in my laughter but I couldn't, "Loser!" I yelled out as both Gon and LeOreo spoke at the same time, "Thirty-five times!!" The fat man would only glare at me, "Well, you could say I'm an exam veteran."

Now this man is pretty Shady if you ask me, "If you have any questions, feel free to ask."
Gon and the now fat man that is now known as Tonpa. Gon then proceeds to introduce the three of us. Then he asks if any more people were the same as him. Soon I hear a loud male scream which takes all of our attention.
I turn to see who was the one screaming to see a man that had his arms slowly turning into red flowers.
Strangely you don't see that coming out of people when they die, yet it was beautiful to see the flowers falling to the ground.
Another man that stood next to the flower man spoke, "oh, how peculiar. His arms seem to have become flower petals. No smoke and mirrors here. Do take care." The man speaking had red hair with yellow eyes, he looked more like a jester or a clown. "When you bump into someone you really should apologize." He finishes his sentences and glances at me for a few seconds before turning away.
Ok, wait a second I'm surprised no one was panicking for someone that had died in front of them. Gon looked rather calm and didn't look the slightest panic. What did I get myself into!!!
"That psychopath is back again," Tonpa says with sweat drops down his face.
Gon - "Again"
The jester seemed capable of passing this easily "What do you mean by again." I tilt my head at him.
Kurapika-"Does that mean he took last year's exam?"
Well, that's rather interesting so that gives me a clue that this exam is hard. "Number 44. Hisoka, the magician. Last year, he was a virtual lock to pass the test, until he all but killed an examiner he didn't like." My eyes widen knowing the new facts of the jester or the man known as Hisoka. So this exam is also capable of us being able to kill anyone but the examiners how rather interesting my brother most likely would have enjoyed this.
"A-And they're still allowing him to retake the exam this year?" LeOreo says with a funny, angry face on him. "Of course. Every year, the examiners and test content change, and the examiners are the ones who choose the new content. The devil himself could pass if that were the examiner's determination. That's just how the Hunter Exam works." Tonpa answers LeOreo's question with a serious face that made me hold my laughter. Although the facts that he gave were very good information for me to have in a world that I didn't completely know.
"Anyway, no one likes him. You should stay away, too." This man talks way too much, it would make sense as to why he never passed. Yet this ɦʊʍǟռ annoys the hell out of me, something about him doesn't sit well with me.
"He looks dangerous. That much is for sure." LeOreo speaks with the most serious voice I could hear coming from him. You know with this Oreo other than my brother, I just can't seem to imagine him speaking that way.
"Oh, right. A little something to mark our acquaintance. How about it?" Who said I wanted to be acquaintances with a ɦʊʍǟռ like you.
He hands each of us an orange can of soda. I ignored what they said and stared at the Soda with a suspicious look. I started to hear people make comments about Tonpa and how he is known as the rookie crusher. Times like this make me thankful that I am a pure-blooded vampire.
"Best of luck to all of us!" All of them put their sodas up as in cheering. I stood next to Kurapika when I open my soda. The scent hit me strongly, the smell of laxative? Gon soda came out flowing down his mouth. I started laughing just seeing Gon making that face. I swear this human is something else.
"Tonpa-san, this juice must have expired. It tastes funny." I started laughing again at Gon's comment. I couldn't hear what they said since I was laughing as I poured my soda along with Kurapika. Tonpa started to make fake apologies to us. I hate humans that lie like this.
I've learned that Gon has a strong taste so when he was about to taste the soda he immediately didn't like it. Gon is just starting to get more interesting by the minute. Tonpa then says his goodbyes but while he was walking away I threw an empty can of soda at his head. When I threw the soda can I make sure to not use all my strength and made it so it would still hurt? He rubs his head and turns around glaring at me. The three companions laughed at my little joke.
I came closer to Kurapika and whispered something in his ear, "We should stay away from that Tonpa guy. Something about him doesn't seem right to me." He only nodes before answering back, " I agree with you on that."
Well, I've made it this far with these people.
I wonder how my siblings are doing out there in this wild world.
A new adventure and new people.
