We could hear the gunfire from just outside and I couldn't resist it. I grabbed my gun and blade and quickly left, but just as I could see flames ahead and chaos, a voice shouted to me. "So that's it?" He said and I turned to see Peeta, standing by the door still. "Just going to go and get yourself killed without a goodbye?"

"Peeta go back inside!" I shouted to him. But he didn't listen, he never listened.

Suddenly, more explosions rang out and I noticed the Capitol just blew up their own people, as horror struck me. "Katniss." I whispered to myself, worried for her.

People everywhere were injured and dead. Another explosion rang out, this time, our own, I believed. Peeta ran to me, grabbing my arms and pulling me back into the building and Cressida approached us.

"We have to go." She said.

We walked into the mansion. Snow was taken prisoner now by Coin, as the rebels had infiltrated the Capitol now.

Peeta and I sat opposite on the bed in a single room within the mansion. I've been here multiple times now since growing up, yet it never changed. You'd think it would, but it didn't. "What's going to happen now?" I asked him. He looked to me, hope but fear glimmering in his eyes.

"Coin will have Snow killed. And she'll probably take place as active president." He said, sounding unsure of that idea. It never hit me that Coin could have a chance to show her true colors. I already was suspicious of her, now I was even more so. Peeta reached forward, grasping my hand tightly in his. "I love you, Arizona." He spoke, interupting the silence that was exchanged between us.

"I love you, Peeta." I said in response, reached up, and cupping his cheek in my hand. He leaned into it, and I couldn't help but smile. I had gotten my Peeta back. And I was never going to lose him again. This had been the hardest part of my life and he made every second truly worth it.

"We're going to be safe now." He informed me, pulling my body into his chest as I wrapped my arms around his back. "I promise, you will be safe."
