Saddness lives on the curls of my hair
Dangling down my round face,
It resides,
Silently swinging by as cool autumn breeze leaves.
Some days
Coldness grows on my skin,
Tingling down,
Metal rust,
Brewing memories within.
Some days
Happiness glides over my feet,
Dusting glitters of glee
In my mind,
Bringing back home joy
With a flutter and a beat.
Some days
Fear crawls on my bones,
Screaming sonnets like howls,
Like the reaping of a dead leaf,
On a bright summer sunflower.
Some days
Anger burns my fists,
Like a jar of candies
In a house burning down
With a dreamer healing scarred wrists.
Some days
Nothingness blacks out my dreams
Blackness,
Cozy warmth,
That I don't ask it to leave.
Some days
jealousy cages my neck,
Like the ribs holding onto the pectoralis muscle,
Not willing to leave.
Some days
I feel them all,
Some days
The house stays numb
Like secrets kept on my tongue,
Like noise trapped with no air
Waiting for 'some days' to repeat.
