When did time lapse by? when I slowly hummed a nursery rhyme within my teeth instead of spewing out profanities under my breath like confetti.

When was the last time? stress wasn't the one to keep me awake, instead it was me excited to wish a good friend a beautiful birthday.

What day was it? when I joyfully played out in the golden rays while now, I have my spine attached to a chair staring at a screen without any care of the bliss I'd had.

And There were times, when all I did was read about imaginative battles on the sea, but now it seems I hold battles in my mind every night before I dream.

When was it the last time I watched TV all summer long, with my favourite shows on repeat apart from that now all I do is catch on lost sleep.

When was the last time, I went to the park in the glee of riding the swings and slides with cotton candy and ice cream and all the best things to have,

While I just visit the park barely only in need of freshness and peace to my mind.

Those nostalgic days,now trapped in a photo album making me realise painfully, that I wont be able to live those lost moments ever again.
