《Pranking the Prankster ✔︎》26- Tiramisu

"Harlow, get the cake out the oven. Asher, set the table. Jay, help your son." Mom scatters around the kitchen, trying to make everything perfect for Christmas Dinner.

My Mom and Dad invited the King family over. Which means I get to spend time with the cute, little Lola and Ace.

I am feeling a lot better since the breakup. I had my friends and family to show me love and to support me.

I slide on pink, cotton oven mitts an pull out the cake. It was a delicious Tiramisu cake that has been in my family for years.

I set the cake on the table as well as the other foods. My mom goes all out when it comes to Holiday cooking.

She made steak with a side of melted garlic butter, chicken pasta, grilled shrimp wrapped in bacon, green beans mixed with tomatoes, homemade French bread, white rice, baked potatoes and of course the tasty tiramisu cake.

My stomach is growling just lookin' at all the fresh and hot food. I start to sneak a piece of bread but am slapped on the wrist.

"Harlow, wait until our guests arrive." My mom fussed as she sets glass plates on the table. She is wearing a pretty maroon dress that goes past her knees with black heels. "Go get dressed."

Sighing, I obey my mom and run upstairs. I lock my door and grab the dress hanging on the doorknob of my closet.

It takes a while to zip the dress up, but somehow I manage to get it. I do a full twirl in my mirror, admiring the pretty, sparkly dress.

I go ahead and add a cute silver cross necklace and a purple gem ring on my right hand.

I do my makeup light with only eyeshadow, lipstick and mascara. My hair is in a sweet bun with a little piece of my hair twirled and loose.

The doorbell rings while I slide on white heels. I walk down the stairs and inhale the Christmas cookie scented candle that is burning on our piano.

I'm immediately greeted by a smiling Lola. Wrapping her small arms around my leg she starts to speak. "Har-Har!"

I laugh looking down at the cute little girl. "Hi, Lola. You look so pretty in your pink dress." I gush over her as she hops like a small bunny.

"Mind if I steal the princess away for a moment, little lamb?" My face breaks out in a full grin when Ace walks up to me.

"Sure, Acey. But she likes me more!"

I giggle and nod at Lola. Ace puts a hand over his heart obviously offended.

"Come here you big goofball." I pull Ace into a hug that he gladly returns.

"You look pretty as always," Ace complements. He gives me a once over making me blush.

I clear my throat responding, "You're not too shabby yourself, pretty boy." I take in his black sweater with black jeans.

He's worn those black jeans many time before. I would know because they make his butt look nice.

Before I could embarrass myself and complement his booty, my mom calls for dinner.

I take a seat in between Asher and Ace. Karen sits in front of me with my mom and her husband by her side. My dad sits at the end of the table, like a king.

~~~~~~~~~~
After dinner the my Mom convinces the King family to stay the night. Her and Karen were going to go shopping while Dad and Bob hanged out in dad's man cave.
I sit on the couch with Ace and watch a Thor movie.
"So......" I trail off try to make conversation. "How do you think you did on finals."
He runs a hand through his black curls and shrugs. "I probably passed. You?"
"Same."
After thirty minutes in to the movie, I start to get sleepy. My eye lids feel like bricks that want to drop.
I start to yawn as the same time as Ace does. I giggle into my hand.
Don't get me wrong....I love Thor! Chris Hemsworth is a total babe. But damn I'm tired.
I close my eyes for a few seconds and that's all it takes for me to drift into sleep.
~~~~~~

I wake up with a horrible neck pain. Groaning, I rub my neck with both hands. That's when I feel something in my lap shift.

My eyes widen when I see Ace laying on the couch with his head in my lap.

I want to laugh because his legs are dangling off the couches edge.

He looks so peaceful. His long eyelashes, clear tan cheeks and messy black curls made him look adorable.

I have to bite my lip to hold back an 'aww.'

Without thinking my hands goes into his hair. It's so soft.

I run my fingers through the curls and play with his incredible head of hair.

How does he get it this soft?

I stop for a minute to turn off the TV. It was showing boring credentials.

I gasp when Ace mumbles out, "Why did you stop. That felt good...."

Ace opens his eyes so his green orbs look into mine.

I slowly with caution put my hands back in his hair. He gives me a warm smile that I display back.

"Your hair is so soft." I whisper.

"Yeah I know. It's my third best feature. My face and abs are the first two."

I roll my eyes playfully. "So cocky, pretty boy."

"Don't act like you don't like my cockiness."

"If I didn't like your cockiness than that would be a big problem. Because your whole personality is cocky." I retort and laugh when he gasps.

"Not true."

"Uhh....Yes is it!"

"Nope."

"Yup."

"Hell no!"

"Hell yes!"

"Nope. Nope. Nope."

"Yup. Yup. Yup."

"So mean, Princess." He pouts, giving up.

"I would never be mean to you." I say getting off the couch. I check the time and see it's 5:00am.

Way to early for me.

I'm a mother freaking night owl.

Grabbing a fuzzy blue blanket off the coffee table I crap it over Ace and my body.

"Up for a Netflix movie marathon?" I ask while turning the TV on.

"With you? Of course."
