The official mating between two wolves was a private event and only needed the intending mates to make a nest and lock themselves up until they were done.

Taehyung and Maya had planned their big day, the day that would make them husband and wife. The day they would start their lives together as a family. Taehyung even bought a new mattress just to make sure Maya was comfortable while the mating process was going on.

Maya wore a long flowy white dress while Taehyung wore a satin traditional Korean robe. Ok maybe Maya thought she was tough but she was wrong because the minute she saw their mating nest, she broke down in tears and hugged the male alpha who pat her back until she calmed down.

It must have been too emotional for her because of all the effort she put into getting Taehyung's attention. The feeling wasn't different for Taehyung as well but in all things, they were finally together and that was all that mattered.

"Are you ready"? Taehyung asked and the female nodded while making her way to the nest.

She got on all fours and positioned herself and bared her neck for the dominant alpha to mark her but her alpha nature slightly protested finding it hard to bend over for another wolf. She struggled to submit but her willingness to give her entire life to Taehyung was more than her desire to dominate.

Taehyung noticed the female's struggle as she squeezed her face trying to force herself to shift for the process to begin. He walked up to her and stroked her hair, petting her wolf and assuring her that they would be equal to each other in the marriage. Soon enough, Maya shifted and howled to signal the male that she was ready.

Taehyung shifted too and moved behind the female to mate her but Maya's wolf suddenly ran out of the nest and circled the room restlessly, posing in an attack position against the male wolf. It was not that easy to make an alpha submit no matter how strong the love was. The male got down from the nest and slowly followed the female who took small steps away from him. They stood face to face for a while, staring at each other before Taehyung gently bumped his nose on the female's own, assuring her over and over that it was okay to submit but if she wanted him to be the one to submit, then he'd do it. Taehyung's wolf was about bare his neck first but was stopped when the female hopped back on the nest and quietly lay there for the male alpha.

Taehyung took the female from behind and bit into her scent gland. In turn, Maya marked him and the process was officially completed. The couple could choose to make love in their human form or just sleep off which was what the couple did because they were exhausted.

Taehyung woke up first to the sight of the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. He sighed in satisfaction, knowing that Maya was finally his mate and they belonged to each other.

The female was sleeping peacefully, ok maybe not peacefully because she was snoring and her mouth was open and her hair was everywhere. Still, Taehyung looked at her as if she was an angel as if she was a delicate little baby who could do no wrong.

The male quietly got down from their nest with the plan to go prepare some food for himself and his mate. He noticed the sheets were stained, must have been from the previous night when he disvirgined the female.

"My poor baby". He muttered to himself.

As if on cue, Maya woke up and the first thing she saw was her naked husband standing in all his glory and cooing at her sleeping figure.

"What a sight to start the day". Maya smiled wide at her mate, not even minding if he was naked in front of her. There was nothing to hide anyway, they were married.

"Morning my angel". Taehyung smiled back at his mate, eyes glistening in total adoration.

"Ouch ow ow!" Maya winced when she tried to get up.

"Easy bubba, I'll carry you". Taehyung rushed to lift Maya off the bed and headed to the bathroom.

Taehyung helped her with a warm water massage to ease the sore areas and then they had their bath before starting the day.

One year had passed since Taehyung and Maya mated. Life was perfect and the couple couldn't ask for anything else. There was never a day they fought for dominance because Maya gave herself totally to the male. It was one of the ways she proved that she was in love with Taehyung.

She was a fantastic wife and the male alpha would lay down his own life for her.

Nothing and no one could compare to Maya as far as Taehyung was concerned. Everything else came second including himself and all that he did was to please Maya and continue to reassure her that she didn't make a mistake by letting herself get lost in his shadow.

She let him lead, let him be the major decision maker and breadwinner of the family and in turn, he made her the queen of his world. It may not work for other couples but it worked for them and they stuck with it.

After their mating anniversary, Maya had told her husband that she was ready to get a pup. They had discussed adopting pups several times earlier in the marriage but they weren't mentally and emotionally prepared to take care of a pup, especially Taehyung. The male alpha wasn't a fan of adoption but he'd do whatever pleased Maya.

He'd have been happier if the pup was coming from Maya's womb but he knew the consequences so he'd rather adopt a pup than dream of knotting the female.

Maya was more than excited to start the adoption process. Lately, she felt extremely attached to pups and had that urge to nurture. She'd stand for minutes staring at Omega's with their pups and spend hours watching cute pup videos.

Her motherly instincts were not as strong as omegas but it was there and that was when she knew that she was ready to get her own bundle of joy.
