《naruto character one shots》Kissing Booth [Sasuke Uchiha]

A huff of annoyance escaped your lips before you put on another fake smile, greeting the next donor. This was your friends "genius concoction of a plan" to gain donations for her family's sponsored charity: The Konoha Animal Refuge.
"Thank you for donating to the KAR, your contribution is much appreciated," you droned before licking your lips and leaning in for the kill.
Yes, you were working at a kissing booth. When your best friend asked you to volunteer with her at the local carnival for charitable purposes, you jumped at the idea. Yet you had no idea she had this in store for you. But it was too late to turn back, and as much as you were appalled at the idea of kissing strangers, the smooch booth definitely captured a lot more attention, and donations, as opposed to any other effort.
But you felt compelled to bail on the idea. Why would you lip lock strangers when there's only one special someone in mind? Of course, it's too late to go back now; your first kiss has already been blown on someone whom you have no recognition for their identity.
Yet still, your heart swelled just thinking about the one who holds your heart, although at the same time a vein became just a little more pronounced on your forehead in annoyance with your current status. It's true, and to your dismay that, the one and only Sasuke Uchiha has you smitten.
And we are all aware of Sasuke's personality; the poor boy is just too stubborn to love. He pushes people away and treats those willing to get close like dirt. He does everything and anything in his power to keep those at bay, preventing any relationship from forming. Although, you're fairly stubborn yourself, and clingy I may add. It was inevitable that a person as you would get attached to Sasuke so easily, which resulted in the formation of a one sided bond. Still, Sasuke pushes you away, and over and over again you try to win him over. You're very charming, and persuasive, yet you struggle in obtaining your goal. You're so drawn to him, but he's put up this fortress around him, guards and all, just to keep you away. And today was your last straw. You walked away from him, we all know it won't be long before you go running back, but still...

You pulled away from another unknown soul whom you allowed your lips to belong to for several seconds. Making sure to divert your attention away from the man, you took his money and greeted yet the next stranger. While you were on the verge of tears, your friend was in high spirits; this has been the most successful charity effort ever put into play. There wasn't a thing you could do to make yourself feel better, and even though your friend was ecstatic, a pang of guilt wracked you body for feeling nothing but dejection.
But when I said you walked away, leaving Sasuke to wallow in his own self pity and desolation, I forgot to mention how you didn't exactly leave on "good terms".
You began to feel more and more guilty; the emotion consuming your entire being. You're a very sensitive and empathetic person, and you couldn't help but feel as if you committed a great crime. Even though in real life, standing up to the Uchiha was something that needed to be done in order to preserve what little self respect the boy may have left.
Your hands gripped the length of your shorts as the gut wrenching feeling took over, while in your mind echoed the poem of destruction you serenaded the one you "love" with:
"You are not depressed, get out of bed. Stop thinking you are special for being broken. You think you're the one with fragile bones? What about me? I try to give you everything yet all you do is use your darkness as an excuse not to love me back. I tried to fix you, I tried to help you, yet all you did was push me away. And it hurts, to know that you will never look at me the way I look at you. So remember, the only thing wrong with you is your selfishness. I'm walking away so you can have the perfect view of the knife you left in my back."

As your heart rate increased and icy cold sweat ran down your neck, you failed to notice who stood in front of you. A startled gasp escaped your friends lips and a flash of raven locks crossed your line of vision, before your lips were captured in a tender embrace.
Tears ran down your face, as the raven haired Uchiha pressed his lips to yours softly, winding his fingers through the length of your chestnut locks. Sasuke's mouth eased yours open and right then and there, there was a moment where the world stopped for only the briefest of times and the only thing between you two was the anticipation of the kiss. Of his lips on your own, a moment so tense it hangs in the air, pulling you two closer. A moment so perfect, it felt as if it was being experienced in slow motion, and all of a sudden, it was as if you both were yanked back down to earth, all sense of consciousness returned.
Sasuke lips pressed harder and harder against yours, and with only a brief moment, he had you on the opposite side of the booth, his fingernails digging into the fabric of your shirt hugging your hips, as your legs wrapped around his torso.
Against your lips Sasuke mumbled "I needed you. I needed your body pressed against mine, your warmth, your smell; the taste of your kiss. My hands wrapped around your curves." And he did.
As you both broke for a air, it was as if every single person waiting in the line at the stands held their breath, for they all exhaled at once. You wondered if they felt what you felt, but there is no way they experienced the same spark, that same course of adrenaline spike through their veins the way you did.
Sasuke gently set you back on your feet, experiencing a euphoric energy not even close to imitating how any hardcore drug could possibly effect the human mind and body, as he clasped his hands around your own. And as your friend waved you off, a small smile of understanding on her lips at your early departure, a sudden realization struck you:
"Sasuke, what about your donation?"

The Kodoku Game
In Japanese folklore, there once existed an ancient technique among alchemists for harvesting the strongest poison known to man. A poison so vicious, so horrendous, that a single drop could incapacitate an entire nation of humans, several times over. A poison so intense that a single drop could turn the tides of a war on its head. As potent as it appeared however, this poison could be harvested from the blood of a single insect alone- an insect the alchemist’s called the ‘Kodoku’. As lucrative as was attaining this poison however, the problem lied in identifying this insect- its appearance, shape and size changed from region to region and from continent to continent. Sometimes it took the appearance of a ladybug and other times a horned-beetle. In order to determine the identity of this special insect the alchemists came up with an ingenious method. They created an impregnable jar of clay out of the best sandstone they could find and placed hundreds of different insects into the same jar. The jar was made with such great mastery that it allowed no insects to escape and allowed no objects to enter. The laws of nature dictated that the insects would remain together in the jar forever. However, it turned out that as time went on, the insects’ hunger for food and power caused them to turn against each other- one insect ate another until only one remained. This sole insect contained a poison that far surpassed that of all the others and became stronger as it ate more and more insects. The alchemists at this point had succeeded in identifying the Kodoku and could extract it’s poison as long as they continued to feed it regularly. Although this folklore ends here, the actual story does not. One day, as the alchemists cheered in joy of having identified the Kodoku they so eagerly wanted, they forgot to close the lid on the very jar that was considered to be completely impregnable. This small gap was just large enough for the Kodoku inside to crawl out. Famished from not having been fed for weeks, the Kodoku ended up eating the very alchemists that nourished its growth until not even the bones remained. Yet, the Kodoku’s hunger didn’t seem to subside in the slightest. So it traveled to the next village and began eating whatever it could find there. Its poison made it unparalleled in strength and slowly but surely it began to dwindle down the population of the entire city. Yet its hunger only continued to grow. So it traveled to the next city over and ate all it could there. Very soon, the Kodoku couldn’t find any more food to eat. There was no one left to eat and no one left to spectate. So it stood there, by itself pondering what possibly was left to eat that could satiate its hunger. But there was one thing left that Kodoku realized it had never eaten. Itself.
