Third POV
Both Kakashi and Zabuza landed on the water gracefully, facing each other with a deadly aura.
Zabuza started to make hand signs, saying some gibberish for every sign. Kakashi copied everything, from a finger movement to a blink, successfully weirding Zabuza out.
Once they had finished the Jutsu, two humongous water dragons came out of the water, spiraling around each other, as if dancing, water droplets flung in the opposite direction the creatures were going.
Once they reached top velocity, they collided, creating a tsunami-like wave. Nobody knew what happened to team seven, but one member.
That one member was washed away from the dangerous fight, falling unconscious from hitting her head on a rock.
Akari POV
Kakashis and Zabuzas dragons smashed together, creating a ginormous wave. I saw my teammates go up to the trees for cover, but I wasn't fast enough. I was knocked over by the wave, me trying to swim above, but the current was too strong. I was made unconscious by a hard object in my path.
Akari's dream
When I opened my eyes, all I saw was black. The space I was in was empty, no floor, no ceiling, and no walls. It was as if I was floating.
"W-who's there," I asked, wondering where the ominous laughing cane from.
"I-I asked who w-was there," I asked again. This voice is so... familiar?
The laughing started again, getting louder and louder, enough for me to cover my ears. I saw an object in the distance. It was orange. an orange? I'm hungry.
It drew closer and closer. I could tell it had a swirl leading it to its left side into a hole, which had a red dot in it. Wait.
"No way," I muttered, but unheard by even me as laughing was ear piercing.
Sasuke POV
We were walking back to Tazunas house, Kakashi in tow. It brought up many questions of to why he had the Sharingan. Is he an Uchiha?
"AAAAAHHHHHH!!!"
A scream was heard in the distance, making me remember something. Or someone.
Akari!
How in the hell could I have forgotten her?!
I darted off into the forest, creating a light sheet of sweat over my body.
I the screaming got louder, meaning I was getting close. I was getting more and more tired but ignore my aching limbs.
Eventually, I saw her huddled up in a ball, clutching her eyes and screaming.
"Akari, what's going on," I asked, getting worried.
She looked up at me, tears and blood glazed over her eyes and down her face. I gasped. Those aren't her regular blue eyes, those are the Sharingan. (Pic at the top)
But this wasn't the regular Sharingan, it was the Mangekyou Sharingan. What the hell happened to her to get this?!
I picked her up bridal style and ran into the house to see my team already there. I looked down to Akari to see her passed out, head lagging down.

"Sasuke-Kun!!!" Oh god, "where have you been?! I was about to head out to find you- wait, why are you carrying that?!" I ignored her rude comment by pushing past her and went upstairs to where Kakashi was and saw a woman in there putting a wet towel on kakashis head.
She looked at me, then looked at Akari, making her eyes widen. She stood up and grabbed her away from me and set her on a cot next to Kakashis. She immediately tended to her injuries.
She felt her forehead and took her hand off. She got another towel and said, "she has a burning fever. What happened to her," she asked me worriedly.
"I don't know. I found her in the woods, drenched and crying," I answered honestly.
I heard footsteps down the hall, and the door was slammed open. I looked behind me to see Sakura and the Dobe in the doorway, staring at Akari.
Sakura broke the silence. "What happened to her," she asked, not looking away.
"I don't know. I found her in the woods drenched and crying," I explained again, sticking to the story.
The Sharingan. So, now I have actual proof that she is an Uchiha. I had conflicted feelings. I would still have to ask Kakashi-Sensei a lot, but that would have to wait until he wakes up. Who knows when that is. I just sat down in a chair across the room and waited.
Time skip/Kakashi POV
My eyes fluttered open, blinded by the light going into one of my eyes. I looked around to see Sasuke looking at something worriedly. I looked over to see Akari on the cot next to me, sweating badly.
"Sasuke," I said, making him look at me, "what happened?"
He clenched his fists, "I don't know. I found her into woods crying, but..."
"But what," I asked, getting worried.
"S-she had the Mangekyou Sharingan," he stuttered out.
"What," I shouted, "how?!"
He looked down, "I don't know,"
I looked over at Akari to see her eyes open slightly. She shut them again and clutched them as if they hurt and screamed.
Akari POV
I opened my eyes. It was bright. Then I remembered. Obito.
I clutched my eyes and screamed from the pain. I could hear someone go to my side and footsteps.
I just continued to scream, hearing voices but not able to understand them. Two people pried my arms off and held them down, so I clutched my eyes, not able to protect them.
"-your eyes! Open your eyes, Akari," a voice yelled at me.
"NO! It hurts... it hurts," I trailed off.
"Honey, you need to open your eyes. Maybe we can help," a woman's voice said.
I slowly opened my eyes to see a woman with black and black eyes hovering over me with a sweet smile. My arms were released, letting me sit up and look around the room. A few gasps were heard, but why?

"Y-your eyes..." Naruto said.
"What about my eyes," I asked, looking over at him, seeing him shaking a little. So was Sakura. I began to panic.
"What about my eyes?!" I said louder. They all flinched.
Sakura quickly left the room, bringing back a mirror. I looked inside to see... the Sharingan? Wait, that's the...
"Mangekyou Sharingan," I muttered, looking up.
"Everyone, leave the room," Kakashi ordered, and everyone did.
"What happened," he asked sternly.
"I-I don't know," I lied. I can't have him know that Obito is still alive... not yet.
"Do you know how to... um... turn it off," I asked, changing the subject.
"Just focus the Chakra off of your eyes," he explained.
I did as he said, and felt less strain on my eyes.
"You need to understand something," he started, "using it too much will cause you permanent eye damage. You must only use it for very strong enemies, not for someone you can just beat up easily. Do you think you can just use the Sharingan," he asked.
I nodded. "How do you turn it on," I asked.
"Just channel chakra into your eyes, just not as much for the Mangekyou. Don't worry, you won't go blind. Your an Uchiha, so you can last longer than me," he explained.
I did as he said and looked at him and he smiled. I think...
"Good job. Three tomoes(sp?). And in each eye," he complimented.
I smiled and turned it off.
"Oh yeah, Zabuza," I started, gaining his attention, "isn't he still alive...?"
"Oh! Yeah. Everyone may enter now," he called.
I heard the familiar sound of thumping on stairs. The door slid open and I was bombarded with questions.
"GUYS!! I already have a splitting headache! Maybe even a migraine! Shut UP," I shouted, just done.
That made them shut up.
"Kakashi," I said, looking at him.
"Zabuza is still alive."
3...
2...
1...
"WHAT," both Whiskers and Banshee exclaimed. Sasuke just looked shocked.
"Normally," Kakashi started, "a Hunter-nin would take care of the body right there, but this one didn't. Which would mean that he is alive."
"But sensei! You checked his pulse! He can't be not-dead, you confirmed it," Banshee argued.
"It could've just been a death simulation. Those needles are just acupuncture needles made for that purpose," Kakashi explained.
"So, what are we gonna do? We could barely beat him, believe it." Whiskers asked.
"I'll train you. Simple," he stated.
"Huh? But how, sensei? You can barely stand," Sakura asked.
"Whoever said I have to stand," Kakashi said, smirking. I think...
Time skip to forest
Kakashi climbed up the tree with no hands, showing us how it's possible.
"Now you try," he called down to us, throwing a kunai at our feet.
I grabbed mine and focused chakra to my feet. It felt kinda funny, like that feeling after you make something numb by blocking off the blood flow, only not pins and needles.
I ran at the tree, building up my chakra, then as I made my first step, I latched on. I smiled but didn't stop.
I kept running up, feeling the wind in my hair. It almost felt as if I was walking on air, like that song.
I passed the first branch.
Keep going
Second branch.
Keep going
I kept on repeating that over and over in my head. I kept running up, dodging small and large branches, making my way to the top.
Once I made it, I threw the kunai down at Kakashis feet (like Mulan) and put my hands up in victory.
I looked down and saw Sakura was only on the first branch and the boys, who were on their butts, were looking up at me.
"Alright. Now you just have to come down here, "Kakashi called up to me.
I just remembered something. I'm afraid of heights. I paled.
You know what? This is the ninja world. A ninja can't be afraid of heights. I stood up and started to walk down slowly.
Why did I climb so high, I whined to myself.
After a while, I made it down, feeling accomplished.
"Looks like the girls have a better chance of being Hokage, and maybe the Uchiha aren't so great after all," Kakashi said, taunting them.
Oh hell no, he did NOT just say that.
I glared at him, making think about what he had just said.
"I'm an Uchiha too, you bastard," I yelled at him, growing an irk mark.
He started to sweat. "I-I mean, um, t-the Uchiha g-girls are better than the Uchiha b-boys," he stuttered out, sounding uncertain, confused and scared.
I guess he doesn't want to be pummeled by a female Uchiha with the Mangekyou Sharingan. Smart.
"I-I leave you to watch the boys, Akari. I'm just gonna leave now," he said quickly, slipping away.
I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms. I looked over to see the boys looking at the little scene I just caused.
"What are you looking at? Get back to work," I ordered, feeling proud of how badass I sounded.
After a while, Naruto came up to me.
"Could you tell me how to do it," he asked, scratching the back of his neck.
I nodded and whispered it in his ear, making him smile. I looked over to see Sasuke looking at Naruto like he wanted to kill him.
When Naruto tried again, he got a few feet higher. A while after that, Sasuke walked up to him.
"Hey. Could you tell me what Akari told you," he asked, looking away.
Naruto looked shocked, then smiled slyly.
"No."
"H-huh," Sasuke's eyes widened.
I just cracked up laughing at the little scene, causing Sasuke to glare at me.
Man, that was fun.

To Become a Troll: A Monster Evolution Story
Thrust into the supernatural world of the deep forest, Paul finds himself in a situation where he could find himself prey to pretty much every other creature and animal around. If he's to survive, he must shed his weak form to grow stronger and survive. But the forest is full of creatures beyond human understanding, that act without the need for food or shelter and that seem to exist for the sole purpose of dragging humans to the bottom of a murky river. Is it really possible to kill such creatures when your only strength is physical prowess? --- A monster evolution story based on Swedish creature mythology. The focus will overwhelmingly be on the progression of the main character and his slow increase in strength. Although many of the creatures are based on Swedish creature mythology, I have taken creative liberties in order to ensure that evolution lines and the such are in line with the usual. The main thought I had when going into this is that I want to delay the "meeting a human" section as much as possible. My plan is to get him to endgame levels of strength before even sniffing the possibility of seeing a human. Whether I'm actually able to do this remains to be seen, but I'm holding my thumbs! Also, I'm aware that there are other troll evolution stories, but this is unrelated to them. They can do their stuff and I'll do mine, but this is in no way related to any of them. That said, hope you enjoy it!

Soldier First will be shifting to a monthly update schedule while I work out some kinks in the plot. After an awkward period of amnesia during a mission in Africa, Butcher is looking for answers of his own. So he reluctantly agrees to let the enigmatic company use him as a test subject while he tracks down the mind behind the technology. Butcher doesn't really understand this talk of "stats", "skills" and "classes", though, and the deeper her digs, the stranger things become. Because even as Butcher changes, he realizes that the world around him is also changing in ways that only he can see, but which could have terrifying consequences for the whole planet. This story is a work in progress and subject to frequent revisions.
