《Jade *COMPLETED*》Chapter 3

Jade POV
I stirred in my bed as thoughts and dreams came to haunt me about the guy, Paul Lahote. I could not get him out of my mind since we met yesterday night, and just thinking about him made me feel like there were butterflies in my tummy.
I saw through my curtains that the sun was rising meaning that it'll be very soon before my family wakes up.
Wanting to relax a bit before starting the day, I got out my bed and changed into a bikini and a pair of leggings with a long top. I took a new towel and a bag before silently creeping out of the house to not wake anyone. I closed the door very gently and then made a run for the beach.
I'm quite surprised I didn't trip over any logs, branches and roots. Me being my clumsy self, I always trip over something, even thin air.
I soon arrived at the First Beach and chose a spot behind some rocks, just in case someone decides to come for an early swim like me and find a mermaid in the sea. I put down my bag and and took out my towel, laying it high on the sand so that it doesn't get wet. I then stripped off my clothes, leaving me in my lavender bikini.
I smiled when I saw the Sun shining on the sea as I ran into the water before diving in, making me transform immediately. Even though the water was cold, it made me feel relaxed as I swam around.
After about swimming for twenty minutes, setting myself a new record for holding my breath, I decided that it was time for me to go. I swam back quickly using my super speed and soon arrived at the rocks were my stuff when. I crawled onto the sand and grabbed my towel, trying to dry off every piece of water on me. Before in Gold Coast, I had no problem with this as you could always find me swimming with Rikki.

I continued to dry myself when I heard male cheers and shouts. I covered myself to the best of my ability, when I realised that I knew those voices.
"I win! Again!" I heard Jared Cameron, a friend of Jake's, say.
"When did this exactly turn into a competition?" Embry Call, my brother's best friend, asked making me wonder how fast they are.
"Since all of us betted who would imprint after Sam" I heard....Jake say. Jake?! What on earth is he doing here? I mean I know it's the First Beach and everything, but is he following me or something.
"And it looks like I did," I heard the man of my dreams suddenly say. Paul Lahote. Imprint? What the heck is an imprint?
"Not funny Lahote, that is my little twin sister you're talking about," Jake said in a growl making me wonder what they were talking about. And why were they talking about me.
"Relax Black, I'm not planning on breaking your sister's heart anytime soon," Paul said making me blush a little, when I felt my body tingle. Finally!
"You don't even have it yet and you're talking about how you want to spend the rest of your life with her," Jake growled as I put away my towel and put on my clothes.
"Yeah well-"
"Hey guys, whatcha doing here?" I asked, catching everyone off guard, especially Paul and Jake. I felt all of their stairs as I held onto my bag. Creepy.
"Nothing," Jake replied quickly. "What are you doing here?"
I smiled at him before tapping his nose making him swat my hand away. "Don't worry about it Jakey. See you at home and have a great day guys!"
Those were the last words I spoke to them before heading back home. Now I just got to research what an imprint is.
