"Hey Jinnie-" I said.
"Hey Annie- what's up?" He asked over the phone as I sat down on my bed.
"There was a thing that happened to one of the kids at school-" I said.
"What- what's happened? Are they ok? Are you ok?"
"Everyone's fine, but it means they're staying over for a few days."
"Annie- that's kind, Alright. Are we still on for Saturday?"
"Still on. I'm going to go to bed." I said, hanging up after a few seconds and falling asleep instantly.
I got up as my alarm woke me up, and changed quickly into my work outfit.
I put my hair into a ponytail, and walked into my kitchen.
"Good morning Miss Wang!" Dami sang as she came out the guest room.
"Good morning Dami! Do you want some cereal?" I asked, she nodded.
I got out a bowl for her, handed it to her with the cereal so she could have as much as she wanted.
I made two coffees, one for Minho and one for myself, then handed Dami her apple juice.
"Good morning Minho-ssi." I said as I saw him walking out the guest room, his hair floppy and he wore an oversized shirt and shorts, which he had brought in his bag.
He looked hot.
I handed him the cup of coffee as he sat down beside Dami.
"Dami are you ready for school?" I asked.
"I LOVE WEDNESDAYS!" She shouted and went to get changed.
I giggled, how could she be so hyper so early in the morning?
"You look prettier with your hair down."
"Huh?"
I looked up from my phone and caught eyes with Minho.
"You heard me." He said, turning away and eating the rest of Dami's cereal.
"Where do you work?" I asked, why was Dami taking so long?
"I'm usually a backup dancer, currently I'm not needed as BTS isn't on tour." He said plainly.
"You dance for BTS?"
"Yeah." He said, as if it was nothing.
"I guess the pay's good." I said, just as Dami exited the guest room.
"Here's a key. Go find an apartment or something, alright? Don't eat all my food though, ok?" I said to Minho, handing him my spare key, he just winked at me.
I shivered and grabbed Dami's hand, leading her to the car, slightly worried about what Minho could do with my key, but I had to stop worrying and get on with my day.

"Alright Dami- I think you'll be staying with me until the weekend, until your dad finds an apartment."
"YAY!" She said happily, which made me giggle.
I subconsciously took down my hair before walking into the room, for some reason, listening to Minho's 'advice'.
"Morning kids." I said as the kids entered my room, Jeongin with a pink cast on his right leg.
"Aww Jeongin- are you feeling any better or is it annoying with the cast?" I asked, helping him with his bag.
"It's annoying, can you sign it miss?" He asked me, handing me a pen.
I signed with my name and then went back to my desk, starting to teach Maths.
We had sport in the afternoon, Dami left early to go to dance.
"I'll pick Dami up later-" I said to Minho as he left the school campus with her, he just nodded.
After two hours of marking and helping Jeongin in the library, as he was obviously not doing sport, I went to go pick up Dami from her dance school.
"Hey Dami-ah." I said, as she hugged me when I walked into the practice room.
"Annie?"
"Hey Jinnie-" I said, kissing his cheek.
"Dami- is this the woman you're staying with?" Hyunjin asked Dami, who nodded.
"You're girlfriend!"
"Huh?" Hyunjin said, smiling but looked shocked.
"Hmm- she is my girlfriend." He said, hugging me and kissing me quickly.
"AH!" Dami screamed and turned away.
"Right- let's get going." I said, holding her hand and going to the car.
"Bye Jinnie!" I said, and waved at my boyfriend who waved back.
"I think your dad is at home- what do you want for dinner?" I asked Dami, she sat upfront in the car, which was very weird for me.
"TTEOKBOKKI!" She shouted, and I laughed.
"You shout a lot Dami-ah." I said, smiling and she giggled.
"We'll get tteokbokki." I said, helping her with her bags as we left the car.
We entered my apartment, and we saw Minho at the table, typing on the computer.
"Hey daddy! What are you doing?" Dami said, running over to him and sitting on his lap.
"Just looking at houses, do you like this one?" He said, showing her pictures of houses as I went to go get tteokbokki from down the street.

"I've got it!" I said, walking back into my house, holding the tteokbokki boxes and noodles.
"YAYAYAYAYAYA!" Dami said loudly and happily, hopping off Minho's lap and hurrying to the kitchen where I had laid out the food.
"Here you go-" I said, handing her chopsticks and she went to sit at the table.
"Hey- did you find a house or are you still looking?" I asked, giving Minho chopsticks too and a drink.
"I'm looking at some houses tomorrow- don't worry, we'll be out of your hair."
"I dont mind it- Dami's fun." I said.
"And me?" He asked.
"Alright, I guess." I said, smiling weakly as I walked past him, going to sit next to Dami.
"How was your dance class?" I asked her.
"Hyunjin-oppa taught me how to do this-" She said.
She got up suddenly and did a flip, which made me clap and Minho look at me skeptically.
"Well done Dami-ah." I said, smiling as she sat down next to me.
The next two days Minho searches for houses, none of which would be available at such short notice, so they were still living with me on Saturday.
"I'll come and look for an apartment- actually... there's one right in this apartment block!" I said, remembering an 86 year old lady had died earlier this year.
"I thought someone would have taken the apartment by now- but I saw a poster in the window downstairs. I'm sor-"
"YAY!" Dami began to scream as I had 'found' them a place, Minho folded his arms.
I got a hold of my land lord who would be happy to meet the two of them at lunch time; it was about 9 o'clock now.
I changed into a pair of jeans, a pink frilly shirt and white sneakers to go shopping.
"Does anyone want to come shopping with me?" I asked them both.
"We'll both come-" Minho said, "And I'll pay."
"Uh? No, I'll pay it's my food."
"Can I not pay you back for letting us stay?" Minho asked, rolling his eyes as he led Dami out the house.
I grabbed my purse, though Minho said 'I wouldn't need it', and locked up my house.
"How's Miyoung?" I asked Minho as we got into my car to go shopping.
"She got into a fight with her parents, they've sent her to rehab or something, she was also an alcoholic so it was a bad influence on Dami especially." Minho explained, though I didn't need that much detail.
"Ah-" I replied, checking Dami was belted up and proceeded to drive to the supermarket.
"Dami- buy lots of food, Daddy's paying so be sure to spend his money." I joked to Dami as we walked into the shop, Minho scoffing before laughing.
I hurried around the shop with Dami as Minho pushed the trolley.
We got to the till after about an hour, with more food than I will ever need, though I promised myself to give the two of them most of the food when they hopefully moved into the apartment a few doors down from mine.
"Aww- you're both very cute together." The cashier said to Minho and I, which made me shake my head but I said nothing.
"Dami-ah, stop, you could hurt yourself." I said to Dami, who was trying to climb up the wall of the supermarket as Minho was unloading the trolley.
"Is your daughter usually so hyper?" The cashier asked, which Minho laugh.
"She isn't my daughter, she's his daughter. I'm just a friend."
"MISS WANG! CAN I GET SOME SWEETS?!" Dami shouted.
"Dami-ah, please stop shouting."
"Min-ah, can you take Dami out, I'll pay, it's alright." I said, giving him a nickname, which I regretted after I said it, but couldn't take it back.
"No, you can take her out. I'll pay."
"I remember when my husband and I used to argue over who was paying." The cashier said, oblivious to the fact I had literally, a second ago, told her I was just a friend.
"I'll pay- that's the end of it." Minho said sternly, putting his card into the machine.
"Alright- I'll take Dami. Can you take this stuff to the car?" I asked, he nodded as I picked up Dami.
"See you in a few minutes then." I said, Minho winked at me before we walked back to wait in the car.

8 209Tales of the Legendary Scholar
They meet in the most unlikely moment and turned their life around. Freidrech newly arrived in his own nation's capital city, which is so foreign to him compared to his village's idyllic and nondiscriminatory atmosphere, after he is forced to come. Now, he is facing a royal prince and tells him to bow. This draws out one of his late father's teachings from the deepest recesses in his mind. "The blood of your great ancestors runs in your veins. Don't easily bow down to anyone, or accept suppression by any being, not even from a monarch, unless you pledge your allegiance to him. Also, giving in to oppression is directly telling the oppressor that you're easy prey and open for manipulation." He is uncertain on how to face this oppression right now. Will he bows or not? What will he do to uphold his father's words while keeping his life safe? As for the prince, Theodrech has nothing to do with Freidrech, so he wishes to let this slip, but the boy opens his mouth and proposes the most ludicrous challenge he ever heard and triggers his curiosity. "I, Freidrech Goederf Gerboud, son of the late Village Chief Louvel Gerboud of Wrilon, will challenge you, Your Highness, to a battle of riddles… If you win, I will not only bow but be your servant for the rest of my life." This amuses the prince. It is the first he met a boy of the same age who is not intimidated by the air of authority he projects. Rather, this boy challenges him. "Why are you so headstrong? In fact, bowing to me is an honor. You saw the King's noble Knights. When they saw me, they bowed," says Theodrech, testing Freidrech. "Allow me to be forward, Your Highness. For me, bowing to a monarch does not guarantee loyalty. If I were you, I rather have men who stand straight in my presence but who got my back, than bowing men who are dreaming of my death," replies Freidrech. The prince’s curiosity increases. A huge smile is seen on his face. Prince Theodrech decides to take Freidrech under his wing. Little did they know, this boy who Prince Theodrech takes in as his confidant and friend in the most ridiculous fashion is someone indispensable in his life and the one who can help him succeed the throne when he almost believes he has lost. Thus, the Tales of the Legendary Scholar begins. ------ o ------ Old Synopsis: A famous ancient adage stated, behind a successful man is a woman BUT… In these lands, the monarchs are seeking not a woman to stand behind them but the man hailed as the Legendary Scholar. However, this legendary figure starts off in life as a youngster of humble birth, a newly orphaned lad named Freidrech, who courageously faces the high-strung aristocrats and big-bellied bureaucrats in the kingdom. He is held in contempt as unscholarly, ignorant, and a plebeian from the hinterlands. But he proved them wrong. Not with an iron-clad fist of which he has none, but with his studious nature, ingeniousness, courage, wit, and honesty. Also, with the assistance of two ousted beings: a former aka 'great wizard', and a burly fairy. Follow Freidrech’s adventures, on how he wins the heart of the future king of Xaeviel, befriends outlaws, prevents the people from being slaughtered from an unknown plague, rerouting the enemies’ attacks when reinforcements are denied, secures Prince Theodrech’s claim to the throne in the midst of utter despair, and many more.

8 352Casa do Diaño: The Fool
As Thomas Hobbes once said, "Humans are driven by a perpetual and restless desire for power." Given the heavily moral standards society has placed on its inhabitants for centuries, it's no wonder many people deny their internal need to be in control of something. "Oh, we do not want to rule the world at all! We just want to live happy and die happy!" Of course, the irony there is that, by wanting a happy future, you are actually projecting your own desires and opinions into what the world should be like. Hence your inner monarch banging his/her scepter for all their subjects to hear. Though to be fair, this is a pretty small, small example. Why settle for small? Why not go the extra mile and become that vicious monarch pounding his scepter at his feet? This is the story of a young man by the name of Genghis Dillinger Boy. There are quite a few words that can describe Genghis. Anarchist. Libertine. Criminal. Psychopath. He has denied the moral standards society has set for him and constantly lives his life seeking more and more power. Once an unexpected turn occurs in his life, he uses it as an excuse to burn his bridges and move him and his bride to a mysterious island known as Casa do Diaño. Genghis vows to burn the old world to the ground and watch as his brand new world arises from the ashes. But what if he's biting off more than he can chew? After all, monsters like Genghis are not the only kind of monsters lurking in the House of the Devil...
