Krist's eyes became unsteady. Like a burglar who got caught in the act, he was stunned and taken aback.

He thought he was hiding it really well. When did he became so obvious?

he strongly denied, dodging his manager's probing gaze.

"Come on. Can't you trust even just me?", P'Tae continuesly asked, determined to get the truth out of her talent, Krist.

It's not that he doesn't trust anybody. The truth is, he doesn't trust himself.

From the moment he met Singto back in the Uni, he can't help but admire his senior. Singto was popular even then in their campus. Krist was the drummer of their school band, and Singto was the captain of the cheer leaders. At first, he just watches him from afar. Singto's moves were graceful and so is his charm. It's no wonder why most women followed him every where. He hid amongst the bunch of girls who cheered for the Cheer captain. Until one day he built the courage to confess to Singto.

They were in the auditorium for a band practice. He even brought flowers for the guy but before he could come any closer, he heard his P turning down a male student who just confessed too.

"I don't have time for such trivial matters. Focus on something more important.", Singto said to the poor guy.

"Oof! That's harsh.", Singto's bestfriend Tay commented as soon as the teary eyed unknown student left the scene. Singto just shook his head, seemingly ignoring the fact that he just broken someone's heart.

Since then, Krist couldn't bring himself to show his true feelings towards Singto. He decided to forget and move on but destiny seems to have another plan for them, when he auditioned for a series which made them both popular and sealed their fate together.

Now that P'Tae is digging up his hidden feelings, he is afraid that if he let himself out, he wouldn't be able to hold back anymore. Thus he doesn't trust himself on telling anyone about it.

P'Tae sighed, resigning on bugging Krist about the truth.

she said, patting Krist's shoulder again as she stood up then turns to leave.

Krist just followed his manager with a gaze, cupping his face after. He thought deeply about it. Considering that his manager has been like his real big sister for him all these years.

"P'Tae..", he called out to her.

He needs her help now more than ever. Singto's career is in danger.

The woman stopped walking away and turned around to listen.

"I-.. I guess I'm too used at hiding my feelings that I don't know how to express it now without wearing a mask.", he uttered, gazing shyly at his manager.

The lady gave him an understanding gaze. She felt sorry for the young lad for enduring all this time. The cold treatments he has been receiving from Singto must be hard for him to bare.

"Was I right?", she asked.

Krist just gently nodded. His face turned red in a flash.

The woman walks towards Krist and hugged him. As Krist buried his face on P'Tae's shoulder. His eyes immediately welled up upon the rush of emotions he have been keeping all these years.

"Why must you go through this?", she said in a consoling tone.

he answered in a raspy voice. Until now he is trying to hold onto his emotions.

he uttered. His tears began to fall.

he continued as he began to gently sob.

P'Tae rubbed his back as she listened with all her heart. She has known Krist since in Uni. She was their senior too. She is three years ahead of Singto though. But P'Jane recommended Krist to her when P'Jane saw the young lad once when he recruited Singto.

Krist fixed himself when regained his composure, feeling shy all the more for his sudden outpour.

she uttered, trying to cheer up Krist.

Krist finally smiled again, gaining more confidence knowing that he has someone who understands and supports him now.

"So.. Tell me.", the manager continued.

she asked.

Krist went silent for a moment. Wondering if he should tell her or not. After all, it's his fault he is in this mess. But then again, if there was a way he could stay with Singto and protect him at the same time, he is willing to give everything to do it. He took a deep breath and let out a big sigh as he began to tell the story of Georgia and her threats.

"Go away for a few days while I handle the situation. Now that you've broken up with her, and if she is as what you've told me, then she will surely stir up trouble.", P'Tae suggested.

"But.. What about P'Sing?", Krist asked after listening to his managers idea.

she said.

"No. I don't care whatever she has against me. I just want to make sure that P'Sing isn't going to be dragged in the situation.", Krist firmly uttered.

P'Tae suddenly held her nape in frustration. Krist is still thinking about his partner despite the fact that his reputation and career is in jeopardy.

she resigned.
