Guilt is a pain like no other.

You cannot simply take a medication to make guilt go away.

It follows you everywhere, until the day you forget.

But that day could be years away.

George was overwhelmed with guilt. He had almost caused the deaths of 3 people he cared about last week. It has been 3 days since Monica was released from the hospital. And, it was finally time for George to fly back to Europe.

One part of George was sad to be ending his time with his best friends, but another part of him was relieved that he could try to run away from the guilt that he had collected in America.

George's plane leaves tomorrow morning, bright and early. As George packs his bags, Sapnap and Dream sit there and let the reality of the situation sink in. It had felt like it had only been a few days with George here. And really, with the accident and everything, it had.

Once George had finished packing, it was 5:30 in the evening.

"I finished packing," George said as he walked into the living room.

"Good," Dream said, and immediately began walking towards the door.

"Where are you going?"

"Well, since it is your last night here, we want to give you as much fun as possible in one night."

George was slightly confused, but followed Dream out the door anyways. Sapnap locked up the house, and they walked to Sapnap's car. Since it was his car, Sapnap decided to drive. Dream got the passenger seat, leaving George in the back by himself.

"So where are we going?" George asked as he buckled up.

"It's a surprise," said Sapnap. This led to Dream passing a bandana to George.

"What is this for?" George asked in a puzzled tone.

"It won't be a surprise if you can see where we are going."

With that, George obliged and put the bandana over his eyes. After about 15 minutes, the car came to a stop.

"Can I take the blindfold off?" George asked.

Sapnap and Dream shared a glance. Dream shrugged and said, "sure."

When George removes the blindfold, he immediately turned his attention to the window. Outside, he could see a series of rollercoasters in the distance.

"Where are we?" George asked, still in awe.

"Welcome to a Florida fair."

The boys got out of the car and made their way towards the entrance. Dream paid for everyone's tickets. Sapnap was already naming off a small list of just some of the rides that are brought here every year. George had never been anywhere like this, so he was naturally still gazing at all of the high metal constructions around him. As Sapnap continued his list, George interrupted him.

"I want to ride the Ferris wheel."

Sapnap and Dream both turned to George who had a look of determination on his face.

"Of all of these rides here, you want to ride a Ferris wheel?" Dream asked with a puzzled look.

George looked down at his shoes for a moment. "I've never rode a Ferris wheel," he mumbled quietly to where neither boy was entirely sure of what he said.

"What did you say?" Sapnap asked.

George spoke up. "I... I've never been on a Ferris wheel."

Both of their jaws dropped. Everyone has rode a Ferris wheel, right? But no, not everyone. Dream felt a smile creep onto his face. He grabbed George and Sapnap's arms and took off to the center of the fair.

Since it was still pretty early in the evening, the line for the ride was short. The three boys crammed into the small cart as the wheel began to turn.

George looked to his left and to his right. "Where are the seatbelts?"

Sapnap giggled. "There are none."

As the ride continued, they stopped at the very top of the wheel. George looked around, seeing the city that spread throughout the world far below. He could see different stores and restaurants with bright lights that glowed. He had never seen something so amazing.

Dream watched George's expression as he looked out over the town. The way his eyes lit up as he pointed out different things, it was worth more than anything money could buy. He just wished that he could do this all the time, and that his friend wasn't leaving tomorrow.

As the ride began to descend, George described just how awesome the view had been, especially compared to the smoggy, bland landscape of London.

Once they were off of the ride, George seemed a lot more excited to explore the fair. As they strolled, George would point to different rides and ask what they did and when they could ride them.

Finally, Sapnap made a turn, gesturing for Dream and George to follow. Dream knew exactly where they were: the back of the fair. Although this may sound sketchy, it is one of the best places in the entire fair. Tents and trucks full of food lined the small road that they were now walking on. And the two boys had every intention of giving George the entire fair experience.

Once they had walked the entire road and had seen all of the food here this year, they began to pick out a large assortment of foods for all 3 of them to try and to eat.

The purchased churros, root beer floats,

tachos (they are tatertots with taco stuff on top and omg they are so good), a funnel cake, and several kinds of meat on a stick. They sat down at a small table in a more quiet part of the park and sampled the foods. George loved everything. Once they had all filled up, they used the bathroom then began to head back to the rides. After managing not to puke after several rides, it was time for the fair to close.

As they made their way to the exit, George said, "This was the best day of my entire life, right after the day I met you two."

Dream couldn't help but smile. As he pulled his friends into a group hug, his eyes began to water. Keep it together, Dream he thought to himself as he pulled out of the hug. Even if he didn't feel strong, he needed to do his best to maintain his composure.

The car ride home was just like you could expect a car ride of best friends to be. It was filled with laughs and jokes as they got to the house.

When they got inside, all three boys changed into comfortable clothes, grabbed pillows and blankets, and got settled on the couch made for two people. Since they had had a long day, they had all fallen asleep only minutes into "The Office". All three boys slept peacefully, not even thinking about the emotional strain that they would be feeling tomorrow.
