The ride to the airport was fairly quiet.

None of the boys wanted to accept the fact that today was the day that George would head back to Europe. Over the past few days, they had managed to create some amazing memories that would last a lifetime. But now, all of that fun was coming to an end.

Once they got to the airport, Dream and Sapnap helped George Carey his things inside. They were walking as slow as possible so that they could spend a few more minutes together. But finally, they had arrived at security.

George turned to his friends. Sapnap pulled him into a hug first, almost breaking a few ribs in the process.

"I'm really gonna miss you Georgie," Sapnap mumbled into his friend's T-shirt.

"I'll miss you too, Sap."

Eventually, Sapnap let George go. He turned to Dream, who felt his eyes watering up a little. Dream, being the taller friend, pulled George into a hug and lifted him off of his feet. He didn't care that it hurt from all of the bruising from the accident. He didn't care if it looked really gay in the middle of the airport. This was his best friend, and now they were going to become online friends once more.

After another minute, dream put George down. He took one last look at his friends, and began to make his way through airport security. George decided that it would be best not to look behind him, because he knew that if he looked at his friends again, he wouldn't be able to make himself leave.

Dream stood there for a moment, just watching his friend walk away. He would have stood there longer had Sapnap not tugged on his arm and began to drag him towards the car.

"I didn't realize it would be this hard," Dream said as he buckled up.

"What?" Sapnap asked, turning to his friend.

"I... I didn't realize that it would be so hard to let him leave. Like, we were fine not being in person for years, but once we finally met, I felt... complete. And now I just watched him go back to Europe."

"Dream, we are going to get through this. I know this feels like crap right now, but we will figure it out. And hey, maybe we can go visit George sometime," said Sapnap with a small smile.

This made Dream feel a little better.

Inside the airport, George sat on his phone. He still had another 30 minutes until his plane began boarding, so he opened his camera roll. He scrolled through all of the pictures from his time in Florida; images from the hospital, playing Minecraft, and recording. He felt a sense of sadness wash over him, so he closed out his camera roll and opened Twitter. George, Sapnap, and Dream has sat down and scrolled through some of the comments on their post car accident video, but George decided he would read some by himself anyways.

Almost all of the comments were filled with love and support for the trio and wishes of good health and recovery. He smiled as he read a few. They helped to brighten his mood a little bit, which he really appreciated.

"Flight 2187 is now boarding."

George got up, grabbed his carry on and backpack, and made his way towards the terminal.
