Around an hour passed and everyone had gotten their food and we were getting ready to do the baby reveal.
Cameron had everyone except Ethan and I stand against the fence while him and I were stood in front of them all.
She handed out around ten small tubes that were filled with colored powder-obviously we didn't know what was inside.
The anticipation was getting to me, I just wanted to know what gender our little one was.
Cameron was frantically running back and forth from the house to the backyard. She wanted this to be perfect for us.
I turned to Ethan and put my hand on his chest. I looked straight up at him while he put his hand on my lower back.
"Are you nervous?" He smiled at me.
"I'm just excited." I rested my head on his chest. I heard him lightly chuckle and kiss the top of my head before Cameron came back out of the house.
"I think we're ready!" Cameron stood right by us and smiled. I pulled away from Ethan and held his hand.
All of our guests began to quiet down and Cameron clapped her hands together.
"When everyone started to come in, I asked everyone what they thought the gender was gonna be. And to my surprise, the split was right down the middle. Exactly half think it's going to be a girl and half thinks it's going to be a baby boy."
"Yeah, baby boy!" Ethan yelled and put his fist up in the air. I rolled my eyes and laughed.
"Now's your last chance to change your mind about the gender." She looked to both of us and raised her eyebrow.
"Nope, it's a girl." I said confidently.
"You keep thinking that." Ethan put his hand on my back. Our guests laughed at our jokeful argument.

"Everyone ready?" Cameron looked at us first and then the guests. Everyone nodded their heads.
I looked over at Ethan and he squeezed my hand tight.
"THREE."
My stomach was churning, butterflies were forming deep down.
"TWO."
Was it going to be a girl or a boy? I've always wanted a little girl, but of course I'd still love the kid if it was a boy. I just want Ethan and I to love this kid no matter what.
"ONE."
It's time.
Everyone twisted the tubes at once and colorful powder flew into the air. I covered my mouth when I saw it. I turned to Ethan and his jaw was dropped as well.
Pink AND blue powder was in the air, all over us. Two colors. Not one, but two.
"Are we having twins?" I mumbled through my hand over my mouth and looked at Ethan. He didn't know so we both looked at Cameron and she was smiling.
"Congratulations!" She nodded and smiled.
"Oh my god." I whispered and turned back to Ethan.
"Twins!" He said and pulled me quickly into his arms. He held me so tight and swayed us back and forth.
A tear fell down my cheek, it was just so overwhelming.
We're having twin babies. One girl and one boy, it was perfect.
Matt and Riley walked up to us and congratulated us. I gave them each a hug and couldn't stop smiling.
"Ahh!" I wiped a tear off of my cheek while pulling away from Riley's hug. "Two babies." I nodded.
"This is crazy!" Riley picked up Dre from the ground who was covered in colored powder. "No, don't eat that Dre." She stopped her son from eating the powder off of his shirt.

I lightly laughed and Cameron came over to Ethan and I.
"How is this possible?" I asked. "Wouldn't the doctor have told us that there are two heartbeats?"
"You said you wanted it to be a surprise!"
I was in total shock. I looked up at Ethan and I'm sure he was just as overwhelmed as I was.
"Holy shit." He whispered and ran his hand through his hair.

Hours past since we found that we are going to have twins!! All of our guests left and our entire property was cleared of leftover garbage. Cameron offered to help clear the backyard with us before she left.
I was seated on our couch with my legs propped up on the coffee table. I leaned back on a couple pillows while the TV was quietly playing.
Ethan finally walked over to the couch and laid on his stomach, looking at me. He placed his hand on my belly and gently rubbed with his thumb.
"I've been terrified to have a baby for years and now we're having two." I said. "I don't know how this is possible."
Ethan looked up at me and smiled. "You're so fucking strong."
I placed my hand on his head and lightly smiled. I ran my fingers through his hair.
He looked back at my belly and rested his head on a pillow that was right beside me.
I leaned back a little bit more on the couch and closed my eyes. It was soothing to be in a cozy room with my husband gently running his thumb over my belly that's growing our two babies.
"I love you." I whispered. He pressed his lips on my belly, over my shirt which made me smile.
