Ms. Smith's POV:

Her dad is late. Again. I should probably explain. I am a teacher of third grade at the Chapin School in New York. I know I shouldn't have favorite's, but I do. My favorite student this year is Zoe Jackson. She has curly black hair and intelligent, curious gray eyes. Zoe is super smart and she was offered the chance to skip two grades, but she turned it down. Right now I am waiting with her so her dad can come and pick her up. 

"So Zoe," I start, determined to make a conversation. "How is life at home?" She looks up and smiles.

"Pretty good. Luke and Charlie just turned 6 years old." 

"How old are you?" 

"I am eight and three quarters and two days." Is her reply at rapid speed.

"Cool!" All of the sudden her eyes light up.

"DADDY!" A sleek, silver car pulls up. Out walks a muscular guy, who can't be more that 30 years old, with green eyes and black hair. Like Zoe's. Zoe launches herself into her father's arms.

"Hey, my Zoe Bug! How was school!? Wait, what am I asking? Of course, school was horrible!" He tickles her in the belly, and she giggles.

"You are just like your mother." He smiles fondly.

"Where is Mommy?" Zoe looks around worriedly.

"Relax. She is just waking up Charlie, you know how that can be." He whispers the last part. Zoe laughs again. Just then a slim blonde woman with gray eyes walks out. She is holding a toddler and is followed by two little boys. When she reaches Percy she grumbles. 

"Thank you for helping me." She says sarcastically.

"Your welcome." He replies, winningly.

"MOMMY!" Zoe cries. Zoe's mother hands the toddler to Percy and scoops up Zoe in a long hug. This is sweet and all, but I need to know their names. I cough. Zoe looks up. 

"Mommy, Daddy this is my favorite teacher, Ms. Smith." I smile and stick out a hand. Zoe's dad shakes. 

"Hello. Nice to meet you. I am Percy Jackson-" Wait. I know that name.

"Are you that famous Olympic swimmer?" I interrupt.

"I guess you could put it that way." He smiles slightly. 

"Hi, I am Annabeth Jackson." His wife puts in. Another familiar name.

"Are you the famous architect from Olympus Architecture?" Annabeth nods. Wow. She is the most famous person in the world. 

"Anyway moving on." Percy continues. "This is Luke-" He indicates to the twin on the left. "-and this is Charles, a.k.a. Charlie." I study them closely. They both have Annabeth's blonde hair and Percy's sea green eyes. Though Luke is bouncing around, and Charlie is shyly hiding behind his father. "-and finally this is Marina!" Marina is like a little copy of Zoe. Black curly hair and gray eyes, which she rubs and yawns, and finally drift off to sleep. So cute. 

"Well this is great, but I have to get back to work," I say regretfully. "Pleasure to meet you all." There is a general mumble "You too's." and then they are off. I smile to myself. When I marry, I want a family just like that. So happy, so comfortable, and best of all, so loving.
