Madeline's POV:

It had been ten years since I had last seen Percy Jackson. Now for the first time, I was going to see him at the Goode Ten Year Reunion. He had probably ditched that hot blonde in college and couldn't wait to see me. Did I mention that Percy is now a famous Olympic swimmer? He swept every event that he entered. FYI he entered every event. But anyway, back to my plan. The last time I saw him was when we were eighteen, so now he would be twenty-eight. We were old enough to get married! The plan was simple. I would go up to Percy, he would smile and kiss me, and pronounce his undying love for me. We would live happily ever after. See foolproof! He had probably ditched that hot chick in college.

I knocked on the door to Percy house. We were having the reunion at his house. More like mansion. A young girl opened the door. She was only about five years old. She had curly black hair and grey eyes.

"Are you here for Percy's reunion?" She asked shyly. Wow. Even I was impressed. This young girl was fully articulate in language!

"Yes," I said. A voice called from inside.

"ZOE! WHO IS IT?" That was a voice I would know anywhere. Percy. I brushed past Zoe and ran towards it.

"Madeline?" He sounded surprised. This wasn't in the script.

"It's me, my love, I have come back." Percy was more than a little shocked.

"I'm married." He held up his left hand. On the ring finger was a ring that had the words Seaweed Brain engraved on it.

"Oh, really, to who?" I didn't believe it. Percy couldn't be married.

"To me." That chick from high school stepped out of a doorway. She was still just a pretty, but now her stomach was really round. It was Annabeth Jackson. The most famous architect in the world. The head of the company Olympus Architecture.

"Madeline, this is my wife, Annabeth, who is pregnant with our fourth child, which is a girl named Marina. The girl who answered the door was Zoe Silena, and we have two twin boys-"

As if on cue two boys rushed out. Both about seven years old. Both had blonde hair and green eyes.

"-their names are Luke and Charles."

"How long have you been married?" I ask faintly.

"About seven years," Annabeth answered. My eyes stung with tears. Seven years?!?!?! I couldn't break up seven years of love. I fled the house.
