《Mending the Battle Wounds (TodoBakuDeku)》Chapter 16

"Please don't make me do this. I know I just said no jail, but I don't want to turn to dust either!" Izuku whisper shouted at Katsuki.
Katsuki, Izuku and Shoto were all in the 3-A dorm building, after sneakily breaking in. They may or may not have had help from Twice.
"Be stealthy about it and he won't even know it was you." Katsuki said with a smug grin. He was enjoying how freaked out over the dare Izuku was. It meant he had come up with a pretty good one.
"Shigaraki isn't a deep sleeper! He's going to wake up." Izuku whined. He had been trying to get out of the dare all night, but Katsuki wouldn't be swayed.
"You know, I have faith in you. Now go." Katsuki said, nudging him towards Shigaraki's dorm door.
"Kacchan, don't-" Katsuki swung the door open and pushed Izuku all the way inside the room. He didn't shut the door, wanting to keep an eye on him and make sure he didn't actually die.
Shoto was observing quietly. Technically he couldn't even oppose to what Katsuki was making Izuku do, his own dare was to answer every question with 'yes'. Even ones that weren't yes or no, he can only say yes.
Izuku heaved a silent sigh as he walked over to the bed that Shigaraki was passed out in. "Let's just pray he thinks it was Dabi or Himiko." He whispered, but it was barely audiable to himself, let alone others.
He held a bowl of black hair dye in his hands and a spoon. It was going to be a shitty dye job, which would only piss his older brother off more.
Not only that, but it was going to destroy his pillow.
He got to work, avoiding the roots and scalp for the time being. Shigaraki was more likely to wake up if the wet dye hit his scalp than if Izuku was just messing with his hair, so he'd save that part for last.
All three boys froze as Izuku finished the left side of Shigaraki's head due to the older boy turning in his sleep. Once he was settled down, Izuku was able to get to his right side easier than before.
He was nearly down with the entire job, but then Shigaraki reached his hand up and scratched his head. His face scruntched up in confusion when he felt the goo in his sleep, and it woke him up almost instantly.
Izuku was snatched by the back of his shirt and pulled out of the room quickly. "This is where we run." Katsuki said, still dragging Izuku once they reached the hall.
"What the hell? IZUKU! GET YOUR ASS BACK HERE!" Shigaraki screamed. Izuku, Katsuki and Shoto all broke out into a full sprint. They made it to the stairs, taking them two at a time and occasionally hopping the railing. They didn't have time to waste, seeing as Shigaraki was chasing them.
It was fairly late at night, so they were sure that Shigaraki's yell at woke up a majority of class 3-A.
When they reached the ground floor and made their way into the common area, they saw Dabi in the living room. They ran past him, Izuku stopping breifly to give him a run down.
"What're you three-"
"I dyed Shigaraki's hair to match yours, couple goals. Calm him down before I actually die, it was a dare and I wasn't going to- Whoa!" Katsuki had picked him up and thrown him over his shoulder as he continued to run out of the building.

"Kacchan, what're you doing?!" Izuku shouted as he made his way from the 3-A dorms to the training buildings.
"You were taking to long, and we can't go back to our dorm, that's just suicide." He explained while Shoto led the way.
"I can run myself you know." Izuku pointed out. It took Katsuki two seconds to put him on his own feet and then grab his wrist to continue pulling him and keeping him stable as he regaining his footing.
They made it to one of the gyms and hid on the top observing part that the teacher's usually watch from.
"Did you two see if he-" A hand was clamped down over Izuku's mouth as the doors to the gym opened. All three were hidden behind a stack of gym equipment, so it was hard to see the doors, but they all knew it was Shigaraki.
"I swear to God Izuku, when I find you, you're dead." He threatened, doing a once over of the gym. He was tired, having just woken up, and he really didn't feel like searchign the whole place when he could just find Izuku easily the next morning.
At hearing the threat, Izuku tried ot hide himself even more. He pushed himself further back into the darkness of the the alcove they were hiding in. He had realized that they were all the way back, meaning that his back was pushed right into Shoto's chest and Shoto's shoulder was pushed into Katsuki's chest.
He didn't notice it until Shigaraki was gone and Katsuki spoke up. "He's gone Deku, you can move now." He said, his chest starting to hurt from how hard Izuku was pushing all three of them back.
Izuku jumped and moved away from them suddenly, Shoto's hand leaving his mouth. "I'm sorry! I didn't even notice." He said, scratching the back of his neck. "You guys okay?" He asked.
"Yes." Shoto said simply, not being able to say anything else anyways.
"Other than Icyhot's fucking shoulder in my chest, I'm fine." Katsuki said, rubbing the spot Shoto's shoulder had uncomfortably dug in.
"Sorry." Izuku said to him while peaking out from behind the equipment like he was waiting for Shigaraki to jump out and say sike or something. "What'd we do now? He's probably waiting for me back at the dorms." He said once he was sure the coast was clear.
"We could stay here." Shoto suggested with a shrug.
"Yes Icyhot, because sitting in a gym for hours doing nothing sounds like a riot." Katsuki said sarcastically.
"We could train." Izuku offered, knowing that Katsuki would be more inclined to agree if training was offered up.
"It's midnight, we aren't supposed to be out of the dorms, let alone training in the gym." Katsuki said. He didn't do anything to Shigaraki, so he didn't understand how this was his problem, but he wouldn't just leave Izuku there, seeing as he was the one who made him do it and he was working on the whole... nice thing.
"Well it's not like we haven't just sat and hung out for hours before." Izuku said, running out of ideas.
"One too many times." Katsuki said, leaning back against the wall behind him.
"Well that's rude." Izuku said while poking his side. Katsuki had little to no reaction, just turning his tired gaze down to him.
"Oh yeah, I forgot you go to bed at like, eight." Izuku said with a short laugh.
Katsuki rolled his eyes at his remembrance. "Fuck off nerd."

"How about you stay here then and go to sleep or something, and Todoroki and I will go explore!" Izuku said with his eyes shining in excitement. Before Shoto or Katsuki could respond, Izuku was bounding away with Shoto's wrist in his hand, pulling the taller with him. Katsuki groaned but followed after.
"What is there to explore? It's a gym." The blond stated, looking around the area.
"Ha ha, stairs." Izuku said, looking at a flight of stairs that went up, in triumph.
"You found... stairs?" Shoto asked hesitantly. He wasn't really sure why Izuku was so proud of stairs.
"Way to go, stairs." Katsuki said, slowly applauding.
Izuku rolled his eyes at both of their lack of excitement. "It's not the stairs, it's where the stairs lead." He clarified.
Shoto stared blankly at him, knowing that there was very limited options for their destination. Katsuki motioned for him to lead the way. With a huff, he started up the stairs.
They ended up leading to a locked door.
"What an adventure. Can we go back- And you broke the damn door nob." Katsuki said exasperated as he dragged a hand down his face. They had school in the morning and instead of sleeping, he was breaking more school property than normal. Fantastic.
"If I turned around at ever locked door I encountered, you never would have been kidnapped." Izuku said with a shrug as he walked through the doorway.
Shoto walked after him, leaning closer to Katsuki to say, "He's right though. Villain, remember?"
"Whoa, we're on the roof!" Izuku exclaimed, looking over the side at the ground below and then out at the entire campus and city beyond. "See Kacchan? This is why I wanted to explore."
"Yeah, whatever." Katsuki said, stepping out of the roof a bit bitterly. Not only did Izuku bring up his kidnapping, which was still a sore subject a year later, but Izuku had been right. Again.
It was starting to piss him off.
"Don't be mad because I proved you wrong. Just be happy about the cool view." Izuku said, nudging him as he walked up to his right side to look over the side as well. Shoto was sitting on the railing with his back to the ground.
"Hey, um Todoroki? Maybe we don't do that?" Izuku said, cringing at how easily it would be for the boy to lose his grip and fall over the edge.
"Heh, let him." Katsuki said, looking at Shoto over Izuku's head, something the two seemed to be doing a lot.
Shoto just flipped so his feet were dangling over the edge. "Why? I'm not gonna fall." He said nonchalantly.
"I'm glad you have so much self confidence, really I am, but you're underestimating how much anxiety I have." Izuku said, holding onto the back of Shoto's shirt like it would protect him from falling.
Shoto softly smiled at Izuku being so worried for his wellbeing. "I'll be fine Midoriya, seriously." He said, trying to reassure the shorter boy.
"Nope, I still don't like it." Izuku said.
Katsuki had moved so he was sitting the same as Shoto. "Yeah, jeez Icyhot, you're gonna give him a heart attack." He said with a sly smile.
Izuku looked over at him when he spoke widened his eyes in surprise. "Kacchan! Not you to. C'mon guys, you're gonna give me a panic attack." He said while grabbing the back of Katsuki's shirt with one hand, but still holding onto Shoto with the other.
"Can we not be trusted enough to sit and not fall over?" Shoto asked, amused by how worked up Izuku was getting.
"It's not that I don't trust you guys, but what happens were there's a strong gust of wind or something and you go toppling over the edge?" Izuku said, his breathing get just a little bit heavier.
Izuku hated heights and with even videos of people sitting or walking along the edge of a building or cliff made him freak out. Two people he actually cared about sitting on the edge of a tall gym was giving him anxiety. A lot of anxiety.
"There's practically no wind, besides I think we're strong enough to withstand a breeze." Katsuki said, looking out over the skyline. It really was a great view.
"Um Bakugou?" Shoto said, catching the blond's attention again.
When he looked over, he saw Shoto's concerned expression locked onto Izuku who was starting to back up while hyperventilating.
"Shit, we actually made him have a panic attack." Katsuki said as both of them rushed to get away from the edge.
"Midoriya, hey look. We're all away from the edge okay? We all have both feet firmly on the ground. It's okay." Shoto said while slowly approaching Izuku, who was struggling to get air into his lungs.
"Why is he so freaked out by this? I don't remember him ever being this scared of heights." Katsuki said, sending a look over to Shoto as the both slowly made their way to Izuku.
Then something clicked in Shoto's head.
His eyes softened as he looked at Izuku, who was still hyperventilating. "Hey, it's gonna be okay. We're... we're not gonna jump."
Katsuki snapped his gaze to Shoto. "What?" He hissed. He hadn't heard Izuku's story, about what happened with his mom, he didn't know that Izuku had nearly taken his advice from middle school.
Shoto just sent him a look that said he'd explain later. "C'mon Midoriya, we're both okay." Shoto had managed to get close enough to gently grab his wrist, slow enough so if he didn't like it he could pull away, and then brought the smaller boy into his chest. "Just take deep breaths, yeah? We can go back to the dorms if you want, get you to Toga." Shoto offered.
Izuku had buried his head into Shoto's chest, relishing in the warmth, so he just weakly nodded. What he really wanted was to go home, more than anything, but he couldn't. His family was the next best thing.
Seeing as Izuku wasn't in a hurry to move, Shoto effortlessly reached down and picked him up bridal style. After the initial shock, Izuku just accepted it and wrapped his arms around Shoto's neck. Panic attacks had always taken a lot out of him, plus it was getting pretty late, so it was a shock to anyone that he was to exhausted to even comment.
"C'mon, you can deal with Shigaraki." Shoto said to Katsuki. The last thing Izuku needed to deal with was a pissed of brother.
"Yeah, I saw that one coming." Katsuki said, following Shoto off the roof and through the gym. When they'd come up to doors, Katsuki would open them so that Shoto didn't jostle Izuku too much. By the time they were back to their own dorm building, the green haired boy was fast asleep.
Dabi, Shigaraki, Toga, Tokoyami, and Tsuyu were all in the common area when they reached it, Twice was hiding because Shigaraki had found out he helped Izuku into their dorms. The three villains were up as soon as the door opened.
"Izuku, you better- Huh?" Shigaraki cut himself off as he caught sight of the smaller boy in Shoto's arms.
Toga pushed past her brothers and rushed to him, big sister mode fully activated. "What the hell did you do to him this time?" She seethed, glaring at Katsuki. She had just automatically assumed it was him, again, and she wasn't really that far off.
"Don't get mad at Bakugou, it was mainly my fault." Shoto said, careful to keep his voice quiet so he wouldn't wake Izuku.
"I still don't even know what happened, Icyhot was waiting to explain until we got back here." Katsuki said. He was annoyed that he had to wait until they walked back to the dorms when Shoto could have just explained on the way.
"I'm not entirely sure how much Midoriya would even want you to know. Technically I don't think he wanted me to know, but he just kind of started to ramble." Shoto explained, he would let Toga and her brothers decide if Katsuki should know the full story or not, at least until Izuku wakes up.
"Explain, now." Toga said. Shigaraki and Dabi had come up behind her. Shigaraki was freshly showered and had patching black hair, a few spots of blue still showing through. He didn't seem to bothered by that now though, he was far to worried about Izuku to even remember his hair.
"Can I... put him down or at least sit down?" Shoto asked hesitantly. Izuku wasn't heavy by any means, and with all of Shoto's training he could definitely carry him for quite a bit longer, but it was kind of awkward to just be standing in the middle of the common area holding the sleeping boy.
Toga sighed in annoyance, but nodded her head to the living room. The little group migrated to the living room area. Tsuyu and Tokoyami left quickly, wanting to give them privacy for whatever it was that was happening. "Sorry guys." Toga called after them. They had actually all been talking and getting along while waiting for Izuku.
"It's okay, kerro. This seems kind of personal, so we don't mind leaving." Tsuyu said while she and Tokoyami got into the elevator.
Toga turned back to Shoto, who was still holding Izuku, but now both were seated on the couch. "Explain." She said again.
"Bakugou dared Izuku to dye Shigaraki's hair black because he had won a game of never have I ever we played while in the nurses office." He started.
Shigaraki was glaring holes into the side of Katsuki's head. The blond had all his attention trained on Shoto as he spoke, making a not to smack him later for ratting him out.
"When he woke up, we all ran to the closest gym."
"I knew you were in there! God damn it." Shigaraki said, sulking. Dabi just rolled his eyes at how much of a baby he was and wrapped an arm around his waist anyway.
"We were all going to just stay there for a few hours, because he knew that you'd be here waiting for him." He continued, looking over at Shigaraki.
"While waiting he wanted to explore and we ended up on the roof."
Toga let out a deep breath and threw herself back on the couch. "Of course it was the roof. Let me guess, it had a pretty view or something stupid like that." She asked.
"Yeah, he liked the view." Katsuki confirmed.
"Did you guys get to close to the edge or something?" Dabi asked, knowing about Izuku's past and having a pretty good guess of what happened next.
"I sat on the railing." Shoto answered. "He got really freaked out and I just figured he was worry like anyone probably would, but I assured him I'd be fine and I stayed there. Eventually Bakugou sat on the railing too."
Toga smacked the back of Katsuki's head. "Ow! What the hell woman?" He yelled, getting shushed by everyone in the room as Izuku stirred in his sleep.
"You just had to push it, didn't you?" She growled back, but in a whisper again.
"How the hell was I supposed to know he would flip out?!" He whispered back.
"Maybe the fact he was freaking out over Todoroki, yuck I hate saying that, but because he was freaking over that one." She said, pointing at Shoto.
"Well I mean, I don't like it either, but ouch." Shoto mumbled to himself.
Dabi just leaned over Toga so he could whisper to him. "Don't take it personally, it's kind of my fault." He said with a shrug. Shoto just nodded, already having guessed that.
"The nerd's always freaked out over little things like that! I just thought he was worried, I didn't know he' have a panic attack." Katsuki tried to defend.
"Actually, he did say we'd give him a panic attack." Shoto pointed out. As he talked, Izuku shifted himself as he clung tighter to Shoto, pulling himself closer to his shoulder and burying his head into the crook of his neck.
"This is really weird, seeing as their both my brothers." Dabi whispered to Shigaraki, who really didn't seem to care, but humored his boyfriend with a nod.
"And you two stayed on the railing?! You're both terrible people." Toga whispered in a scolding voice.
Katsuki scoffed at her words. "Says the actual villain."
"Says the asshole has given my brother two panic attacks since he's been here." She shot back.
"You've attacked our school like four times." Katsuki argued.
Shoto sighed at how incredibly pointless their agreement was. He knew that he wouldn't be able to get Katsuki to shut up until he won, and Toga didn't seem like she would back down either.
Izuku shifted again. His head was currently on Shoto's right and he was getting cold, so his unconscious self moved to the warm side, and he ended up straddling Shoto.
"I have no clue what's happening." Shoto said out loud as he tensed up.
"Izuke likes cuddling and you're a moving furnace, he does it to Dabi all the time. Get over it." Shigaraki said, his head on his boyfriend's shoulder.
Shoto's eyebrows shot up in question. "And you're okay with that?"
Shigaraki rolled his eyes at the question. "No, I'm worried Izuku of all people is going to steal my boyfriend, who he thinks of as an actual brother. I'm not okay with it at all." He said sarcastically.

Jonathan Orville has had a thoroughly enviable life, completely devoid of pain or suffering. Though his life is tragically cut short due to a sharp rock, he would never regret his perfectly positive life where nothing bad ever happened to him, ever.Even though he doesn't regret it at all, he still finds himself summoned to the netherworld for a new adventure as livestock for a needlessly attractive demoness who is totally probably in love with him. This is a story about using the power of positive thinking to overcome adversity. Demonic forest fires, consumption of souls, rivers of blood and rampant carnage; none of these can get in the way of a dedicated effort to think positively.Newest chapters at: https://manatankmagus.wordpress.com/This location is likely to stay a bit behind. I am very lazy. :DDISCLAIMER: My primary purpose here is Comedy rather than badass skills and righteous adventures (although there's some of that too). The main character can be a little bumbling at times and has a much higher opinion of himself than justified. If you really dislike that kind of thing, this is probably not for you.
