《Mending the Battle Wounds (TodoBakuDeku)》Chapter 15

Mina loudly knocked on the door, the rest of the friend group standing behind her, not so sure abou ther plan. She didn't stop hitting the door until Katsuki finally opened it. "What the hell do you want?" He asked, obviously not in a good mood.
She didn't answer, just barged into his room with the other three following after. Kirishima sent him an apologetic look as he passed.
"What're you dumbasses doing?" He asked. He was anything but thrilled they had just walked into his room, but he should have expected it.
"You've been moping since Friday. Why won't you just go talk to him?" Mina asked, taking a seat on his bed. Sero sat next to her while Kaminari and Kirishima plopped themselves onto the ground in front of the bed, leaning back to rest against it.
"What're you talk about? I haven't been moping." He said with disgust on his face.
"You barely leave this room unless it's to get food or train and when you do, you refuse to talk to anyone. It's Sunday and you haven't bothered yelling at any of us since school on Friday. Something is clearly wrong." Mina said. She had taken the lead in their little intervention, seeing as it was her idea. The boys were mainly their for moral support and to make sure Katsuki didn't blow something up.
Katsuki was quiet for a second as he tried to think of an acceptable excuse. "You guys just haven't been as annoying since then." He said while crossing his arms and sending them all a glare as he leaned against the wall of his room. There wasn't exactly anywhere for him to sit.
Mina gave him a deadpan look. "Kaminari shortciruited while making toast and you didn't even spare him a glance."
"What'd you expect me to do?" He shot back.
"He was in your way and instead of pushing him, you went the other way around the island! Now, tell us what's wrong." She said, not appreciating how hard he was trying to get out of the converstation.
When Katsuki didn't say anything, Kirishim piped up. He was already cringing before he said anything. "Don't push us away."

"Get the fuck out." Katsuki said, glaring directly at him, but talking to everyone.
"This is why we agreed that I'd be the one doing all the talking!" Mina said, smacking Kirishima's arm.
"But it's true! He fought with Midoriya because someone finally called him out and he doesn't know how to deal with that, so he's going to push everyone away to prove him wrong that he doesn't need anyone." Kirishima defended.
"Get the hell out of my room." Katsuki said, still scarily calm all things considered.
"No, we just want-"
"Fine, then I'll leave." The blond said, turning and walking right out of his room.
The four teens left in the room exchanged looks. "I mean, we got him to leave, right?" Kaminari said with a shrug.
Katsuki had no idea where he was gonna go. It's not like he really had any more friends to hide out with. He was so caught up in his thoughts, he didn't notice when he ran right into someone.
"Oh, sorry- Kacchan?" Izuku said.
Katsuki schooled his features quickly, sending a glare to the other boy. "Why're you on this floor?" He asked.
"I was actually coming to see you- Whoa, where're we going?" Izuku asked as Katsuki grabbed his arm and dragged him to the stairs. The door of the stairwell closed just as the door to Katsuki's room opened.
"Your dorm." He responded, still leading the way.
"Okay?" Izuku said, still confused.
They remained in silence until they reached Izuku's dorm. "Oh, I should tell you-"
"Icyhot?" Katsuki asked, staring at Shoto who was sitting at Izuku's desk.
"-Todoroki's in my dorm." Izuku finished, even though it didn't matter.
"Yeah, I see that." Katsuki said with an eye roll. "Get out." He said, nodding his head towards the door.
"Kacchan, you can't just-"
"But I just did." Katsuki said, crossing his arms over his chest.
"He was kind of here first." Izuku said sheepishly, looking over at Shoto. The duel haired boy just shrugged, letting him know that he'd leave if Izuku asked him to.
"Do you want me to apologize or not, nerd?" Katsuki said lowly, hoping that only Izuku would hear it.

"Well I mean, I already know you're gonna do it, so why does it matter if I hear it or not?" Shoto spoke up. He was sitting backwards in Izuku's desk with his arms folded on the top of it.
Katsuki groaned and shot him a glare. "Just get out."
"Why? Too chicken to say it while I'm in here?" Shoto challenged with a blank face and raised brow.
Katsuki's glare became harsh, if it was even possible. He turned his attention back to Izuku who was just watching with mild shock.
"I'm... I'm... God damn it, I'm sorry, okay? I blew up at you for... calling me out... and I guess it wasn't exactly fair, considering you... were right... and I guess I don't have the right to blow up at you for anything considering middle school... so, yeah... that's it..." Katsuki said, nervously scratching the back of his head.
There was silence as Katsuki stared at the ground, worried about the outcome of his apology. His anxiety grew as the silence stretched.
Then a small body crashed into him, hugging him tightly. "I should be the one apologizing. I didn't mean to be so rude, I just don't exactly have a filter anymore, ya know?" Izuku mumbled into his chest.
Katsuki hesitantly wrapped his arms around Izuku before fully giving into the hug. He might have been just a tad bit touch starved.
"Does this mean English lessons are still happening tomorrow?" Shoto asked, completely ruining the moment. Again.
Neither boy moved, but Izuku laughed into the hug while Katsuki shot another glare at Shoto. "You're always ruining the god damn moment Icyhot. Read. the. room."
"Why? This way is more fun." Shoto said with a small smirk.
Izuku, still lightly giggling, released Katsuki and went over to Shoto. He grabbed his arm and pulled him out of the desk chair and over to stand next to Katsuki. Then he wrapped his arms around both of them, making it a group hug.
Neither of the other boys knew what to do. Hugging Izuku was one thing, but hugging each other in the process was completely different. They shared a look, both being to stubborn to actually give in.
Izuku huffed, grabbing one of each of their arms and manually wrapped it around the other. "There, stop being petty and just enjoy the group hug." He instructed.
With a sigh, Shoto fully gave in. Katsuki gave in after, thinking to himself that he won because he outlasted Shoto.
When they all pulled away, Katsuki sent a side glance to Shoto. "We never talk of this again, agreed?"
"Agreed." Shoto said with a nod.
Izuku huffed. "You're both ridiculous." He said.
"Well aware." Katsuki said, stretching himself out over Izuku's bed.
"Hey Kacchan? Who were you running from back there?" Izuku asked, taking a seat on his bed at the top where Katsuki wasn't laying. Shoto was back in the desk chair.
"The idiots tried to hold an intervention because apparently I've been moping or some shit." Katsuki said with an arm over his eyes.
"You have been moping." Shoto confirmed.
"Fuck off Icyhot." Katsuki shot back.
"Play nice you two. God, you bicker like an old married couple." Izuku said with a smirk, knowing he'd get a reaction out of them.
Katsuki sat up quicker than Izuku thought possible and Shoto sent him a rather hostile glare.
"What the hell did you just say about us?" Katsuki asked, clearly pissed off about the comment.
Izuku held his hands up in surrender, giggling slightly. "I was kidding, I was kidding, don't freak out." He said.
Katsuki's glare lingered for another second before he resumed his laying position. Shoto rested his chin on his arms and stared off into space.
Eventually Izuku got bored with just sitting and staring at a wall in silence, so he offered up a new solution. "Hey Kacchan, you still have to give Todoroki and I a dare." He mused.
Shoto moved so his forehead was on his arms instead of his chin. "Why would you remind him?"
Katsuki sat up, leaning back against the wall that Izuku's bed was pushed against. "Yeah, I actually have a dare now. For both of you." He said with a wicked smirk.
"Oh boy." Izuku said, worry seeping into his voice.

Bookworld Online: Marsh Man
Welcome dear friends, to the Virtual Reality Full Immersion System called Bookworld Online! Your name is David Drake and you are a 10 year old slave to the Marsh Hag. You were bought from your parents when you were only a small child at two years old. You don't really remember your old family at all. That's a good thing, since you would hate them on sight for selling you to her. All you've know for your whole life is pain. You are usually quickly healed and receive a lot of training and experience as her unofficial apprentice. It's unofficial because she would never pay to have you registered as an actual apprentice. To everyone else, you are just the boy she took pity on and brought into her home. What they don't know is that you are much more than that. So much more. You are her food. She uses you as her own personal buffet and she indulges herself quite often. You even have the permanent scars to prove it. You have learned many things from her, mostly without her knowing, since you have been helping more and more with her spell work the last few years and her potion making. The only parts you can't do are the magic condensing rituals that her potions require and the mana infusions that a lot of her other creations need. Do you wish to initiate the Main Storyline with these parameters? Please Note: I publish daily.Second Note: I changed this story to a fan fiction. It is based on Swamp Boy. The old story is about 4 years old and was dropped after 19 long chapters. The author hasn't been online since then, so I figured it was safe to do my own take on it.

OUTLIERS
30 years ago brought the first superhumans, regular people given great power seemingly at random. 15 years ago brought the paranormals, stranger and often weaker in their abilities, but far more numerous. Today, the world holds its breath . . . Or at least, it should. Most people, though, are just trying to get on with their lives; some successfully, some less so. It's a sensible goal, but it can be hard when shadowy conspiracies and worldwide N.G.O.s are turning your city into a proxy battleground over world-shattering secrets. It’s bad enough when you’ve just woken up with superpowers and terrorists are holding your school hostage. It’s even worse if you’re an illegal vigilante stuck in the middle of the whole Charlie Foxtrot after a supervillain raid drops vital information in your lap. For Hannah Eiling-Kingsford and Flint Perez, life is about to get a lot harder to get on with. ----- Outliers is a superhero story. Okay, so not so much superhero as vaguely superhero-ish. It's about two teenagers dealing with, among other things, new powers, psycho exes, mysterious datapads and a giant, secret war between the foremost powers-that-be, over information that could forever change the world. Again. You know, normal teenage stuff. Outliers contains some foul language and mild sexual references. It is a complete story, and can also be read on its own website. If you enjoy the story, please consider writing a review, either here or on WebFictionGuide, or just drop a vote for it on Topwebfiction. Any and all support is appreciated, and comments, questions and critiques are all expected and encouraged.

The Skies of Aurora (To be rewritten in the future)
The Skies of Aurora A world full of thousands of islands spread throughout an endless sky with no ground to be seen beneath them. Here we find Shawn Blake, who lives a quiet life near a dungeon on the Isle of Fallen Snow. Very few people ever visit the Isle of Fallen Snow because there is only one dungeon that has a connection to the island in all of the endless Skies of Aurora. Thanks to that, Shawn has been able to live peacefully on the island with nothing but his training to worry about, despite being a hybrid of more than one of the five ruling races. However, unfortunately for Shawn, his peaceful life is about to come to an end as some visitors make their way to the Isle of Fallen Snow for reasons unknown. The world of Aurora is a world of endless skies full of floating islands separated by open air with the void far below them, and the only way to get from one island to another is through portals that are located at the end of each dungeon. These portals are connected to the central portal on another island. This book is a litrpg, fantasy, and sky world all in one. I hope you enjoy my book, and I welcome any and all suggestions.

Bright Feather
I'd like to say something like this is a unique story, blah-blah, but it's not. The story itself is your typical fantasy story with magic, fightings, plot armors, good friends, beautiful ladies and whatever there always is in such stories. I pretty much enjoy typical stories. So I've decided to write one myself. The only thing is the story isn't going to be centered about the Main Character. So let's leave all of the above to him, we'll meet him eventually anyway. This is the story of MC's counterpart. While our greatest Main Character conquers the world, cultivates, and whatever else, what does his destined other half do? Sit and stoically wait for him to come out of the closed door cultivation? Really now... Just thought it might be interesting to write such a story. Let's see if I manage. I'm new to this so, dear readers, please, don't be harsh on me. But if you have some words for me, so I can improve, don't keep them to yourselves, all help is deeply appreciated. And I officially promise to be very slow and inconsistent with releases (myriads reasons for this.) But I'll still do my best to finish the story someday. WARNINGS! (I thought a lot, and in the end, I'm putting it here. Better safe than sorry.) First of all, you can probably easily guess, but English is not my native language. And everything that comes with it. I don't think that it excuses me though, so I will improve with time, but warning you nevertheless. Second: No harem, no BL, no Romance And the last but not least: Beware of psychological pressure on characters and characters' deaths. Not much, in my opinion, but still, if you're overly sensitive to violence or mind games, better drop before starting. In any case, you've been warned. With all the above said, welcome, and enjoy.

Therianthrope
Kalon was born into the world of Ira, a world of magic and monsters, unfortunately for him he had no talent, authority or money. A boy so unlucky he had to sell himself into slavery to the corrupt, bigoted and unjust mages in order to clear his fathers debt. One day when Kalon is being hunted by said mages, he uncovers something, something great. A system. Follow Kalon on his quest to topple the corrupt mages. This is my first novel. Any issues please let me know I'm always up for some creative criticism. I'm trying to avoid info dumping and will expose aspects of the world as the story progresses. MC will not be the stagnant type, he will be subjected to many trials throughout the story and continue to change. If that sounds good to you, keep reading and enjoy. I plan to update as frequently as I'm able to.
