I'm currently comforting Bella. Why? You may ask. Well she and Hayden just broke up. Apparently he likes someone else now. Bella may like Chris but Hayden has been her boyfriend for a year. Obviously she'll be hurt.
"Bells it'll be okay...You can move on. You're stronger than this" I say and she just nods hugging me. She won't let go. She hasn't let go since lunch started.
"Hey guys!! Wha-" Drew says but stops
"What the hell happened." He says. He clenches his fist and grits his teeth, uh oh. He's mad.
"Hayden and Bella broke up." I say and he immediately hugs Bella
"Oh I'm sorry Bells. I heard about that..." He says. She nods and keeps hugging me. Andrew lets go of her and greets Daniel,Chris and Logan. Recently they've been sitting here ever since I came out of the hospital. Basketball and soccer are now friends and don't hate each others guts anymore.
"Belly?? What happened???" Chris says
"Bella and Hayden broke up" Drew says
Chris sits next to her and hugs her tight. Bella slowly lets me go and hugs him crying a bit. Drew and I look at each other wide eyed. Bella has never cried to anyone but me, she's also never hugged anyone when she's sad but me. Damn she must really like him
"Shh...a beautiful face like your should not be covered by tears" he said
"Tell you what, we'll go to the carnival today okay? We'll ride any ride you want" He offers and she shakes her head
"You boys have practice and I don't want to be of so much trouble to all of you" She says
"I'll ditch soccer for today and it'll be the two of us" He says and she looks up,smiles, and nods.

"Okay..." She says and he pulls her into a hug again
"Send it to me Drew." I speak up after they hug
"No duh." He says and everyone looks at him confused. He shows them a video of what just happened making Chris and Bella blush. Everyone else was asking Drew to send the video to them for blackmail.
An arm goes over my shoulder and I smile, laying my head on his shoulder
"We were gonna have our date at the carnival too but I really don't want to disturb Chris and Bella's time together" Logan says and I smile up at him
"Can't we just stay home and watch Netflix and eat pizza" I say and his eyes lighten up
"We don't have to go out of the house?" He says and I laugh shaking my head
"Yesss. Pizza and Netflix it is" He says and I smile as he kisses my head
Logan has been so sweet. He's the boyfriend I've always wanted. He's such a gentleman and so comfortable to be with.
I feel someone staring at us and I look up and see Daniel look away. I shrug and go back to listening to the others conversation

Memoirs of A Healer/Clinical Social Worker: Autobiography of Bruce Whealton
A loving spouse. A healer. How does this person cope with evil villains willing to destroy everything? They convicted the victim... now how does the victim goes on with life as a healer? As the book opens, I was in a psychiatric hospital following a suicide attempt in December 2019. What starts as a simple conversation with another patient changed my life. Most of the rest of the book tells the reader how I got to this point. I experienced profound injustice between 2004 and 2006. By opening with a story about suicide, I want the reader to understand that the injustice was not just something that happened long ago. This book is an account of all the accomplishments and successes that I had in overcoming tremendous odds and challenges. Growing up, I was paralyzed by shyness and lacked social skills, and so the idea of becoming a psychotherapist never occurred to me when I went off to college. I learned that I could overcome those limitations. I wanted to bring that hope and healing to others. Activities like that make life meaningful and bring me joy. The reasons why I was suicidal in 2019 were set in motion in 2000 when a meteor would come crashing down upon the life that I had built leaving me powerless to do anything other than watching everything burn to ashes - the home that I had, the life I had known, the love I had, my career, everything would disappear almost as if it never existed. In that one the year 2000, I could not imagine things could get any worse. But the nightmare would continue for the next few years... culminating in a suicide attempt in 2019. Now, I am connecting with others, building relationships, and finding a reason to live again. I am writing my own story of my life. I will fight against the injustice of the past and offer my gifts to the world. I have so much to offer. I have quite a story to tell. I hope you will help me to move on with my life.
