Excitement buzzed through the manor, as servants decorated the house. Ribbons were draped on the banisters and fresh flowers were placwaed in every vase. The estate, already very grand and lavishly decorated, was heaped with balloons and drink, until it looked like something out of The Great Gatsby.

"So, who have we chosen this year?", said Percy Armeshire, the question directed to his wife, Frances, who stood beside him. From their vantage point, the couple could see all the preparations being made for the upcoming festivities.

"Well, I'm a bit torn between the old lawyer and the young journalist", she replied.

"Then you must choose quick, this is a crucial decision we must make."

"That's what this whole party's for, isn't it? To find the best-fitted man".

"Or woman", Percy added, with a teasing tone in his voice.

Frances turned away with a huff, but not before she masked the small smile that creeped up her face. "Well then, we shall see."
