《Candied Heart-Fatgum x reader》Chapter Twelve

Nothing could prepare me for the warmth of the Todoroki family gave to me. Endeavor on the other hand could suck a dick. He's the worst excuse for a father on the entire planet. Shoto invited me over after the encounter with the sad sack of shit. Maybe.. just maybe I could have a real family. I shook off my thoughts and pulled on a clean pair of black slacks, a f/c shirt, and a plain gray button up shirt. I glanced at my matted up bed head. I grabbed my brush and brushed it out as I held my hair tie between my teeth. I pulled my hair back into a slicked back pony tail. I looked like a dude. Chuckling to myself, I headed out. Shoto led me downstairs and outside to the front. Endeavor stood by the gate, he looked like a kicked puppy and also looked like a pouting toddler all at the same time. I could feel the eye roll from him as we walked off towards their home.
.
The moment we walked into the house a white haired boy appeared. He seemed really relaxed even though the tension in the room was thicker than a ribeye steak. I smiled politely and bowed.
"Hi, I'm Y/n L/n." I introduced. I felt a hand on my shoulder and I stood back up.
"No need to bow. I'm Natsuo Todoroki. I'm Shoto's older brother. Who might you be?" he asked. I looked up at our "father" and back at him.
"I am your oldest sister." I answered, his expression looked puzzled.
"Wait- you gotta be joking. But-" I cut him off.
"I was born before Fuyumi. Enji here had me with my mother, and proceeded to tell her to get rid of me, but she didn't." I explained. We had moved into the living room and were sitting down with Fuyumi.

"So you mean that our father had an affair with your mom." Fuyumi questioned. Enji had disappeared from the room while we were talking. This woman looked like she was about to snap his dick in half. I couldn't hold it in as I laughed. Everyone in the room looked at me like I was crazy, but I couldn't hold it in.
"Yes. That's what I mean by. I'm sorry for laughing. You looked like you were ready to beat his ass if he hadn't left." I kept lightly chuckling to myself. Everyone agreed and chuckled.
.
"Thank you for having me here. My mom died and I didn't connect the dots of what she told me to Enji." I bowed.
"Quit bowing to us! You're family. You don't need to bow unless you are apologising!" Natsuo complained, Fuyumi proceeded to thwack him on the head with her hand before hugging me. My body slightly froze to her sudden hug, but I softened up and hugged her back.
"Its nice to know that I have a sister! All these boys are so boring!" She laughed. I chuckled and agreed. Shoto showed me out and led me back to the dorm.
.
"So what did you think?" He asked, his voice sounded bland.
"They were nice. I'm glad that I've got some family left. I always thought I wouldn't get to see anyone ever again." I trailed off. My thoughts started to get the best of me. A cold hand grabbed my shoulder roughly and stopped me.
"Don't think, just breathe." Shoto's voice had some warmth to it as he stopped my thoughts.
"Thank you. I just haven't been able to get myself out of this rut." I half smiled to him, he returned it and pulled me along with him.

I heard the satisfying click sound resonate through my bland room, indicating my door was shut and locked. I dragged myself over to my bed and started to strip down for the night. Everything got tossed onto the desk chair messily as I crawled blindly into bed. Everything sounded so peaceful. Too bad the peace won't allow me to sleep. My phone rang lighting up the room and scaring the shit out of me. I grabbed it immediately and answered it without seeing the caller ID.
"Hello?" I grumbled. A worried sigh sounded through the phone and a very familiar and panic inducing chuckle rang through it.
"Hello Y/n~ I hope you know your vacation away from us will be very short lived." The horrid voice growled through the phone. I could barely see anything as I threw the phone away from me and curled myself into the tightest ball I could manage. My body started to hyperventilate as my world spun upside down.
Help! Please! Someone, anyone!
My mind wouldn't let me scream for help. And my body wouldn't budge as I tried to get myself to move. I now couldn't see anything, everything was black, and all I could hear was that voice.
.
"Y/N! Its time to get up! We're gonna be late!" I couldn't bring myself to move. The sunlight was blinding my room, but I could tell I hadn't moved an inch from last night. I heard the door handle jiggle and my door swung open. Mina's bright and happy form bounced into my room, but all that optimism dissipated when she saw me.
"W-what happened? Is everything okay?" She asked, like lightning she was next to me and hugging me.
"I-I got a call last night. A-and I'm scared. They're going to come for me soon." I answered. Her face dropped even more before getting up.
"Why didn't you tell someone?" She asked, she looked around and picked up my mess from the night before.
"I haven't moved since the call. I went into a panic and shut down. I have been like this since last night." I explained. I tried to move now, my entire body felt stiff and sore.
"You didn't sleep at all did you." She assumed, I gave her a nod and slowly got up. I retrieved my phone from the floor. A relieved sigh left me when I saw the screen wasn't more damaged.
"We are going to leave right now. So grab some clothes. I don't care what you're wearing. Grab anything. We need to talk to Aizawa Sensei." she demanded. I obliged and got ready. The pink endowed girl dragged me as fast as she could to class 1A. Damn near tripping me up every other step.

Dream of the Abyss
Elisa Mary Grant died in a hospital bed after being stuck in it for six months, and like any other, her soul drifted away from her husk when she passed. For her, death was a release. It merely meant that she no longer have to wake up in pain, breathing through tubes and have doctors flood her veins with dubious chemicals for “experimental treatment”. Free from her mortal constraints and useless body, she felt… at peace, serene, even. Death is bliss, after all, when objectively living sucked to the point of extreme. Therefore, there was no reason to mourn at all and she knew she definitely didn't. ... That was until, on her way for a proper reincarnation, she found herself rudely interrupted and left stranded in the great NoWhere. “Wonderful,” she remarked as she floated in the [Beyond], “Just when I thought that suicide is the answer.” Author's note: Updates every Tuesday-Wednesday, probably some time in between. ... P.S Notes: Contains existential questions and nihilistic themes, rather philosophical. Will be rather sluggish until the MC gets her shit together. P.SS Notes: Story takes time to develop. And maybe uncomfortable. It's not gonna be action-packed or filled with battles, I think. Anyway, it is kinda unusual. P. SSS Notes: It is not LitRpg. Don't be fooled.

The Tale of A Fortunate Slave
In the world of Valeria, The capital of The Kingdom of Albert is besieged and yet our story dose not begin in a stronghold or castle. Our protagonist is not strong or powerful, quite the opposite in fact, she is a ex-slave. An ex-slave that got "lucky" in a way that some fear and despise while others enjoy and like her. This is the story of the quite Ash the slave turned personal servant of the daemon princess Lucy Darkheart. This is very much a work in progress so please understand if there's any mistakes or errors. Not only that but I am a novice so that kind of thing is to be expected. Thank you! Edit: Updates are whenever I make one or two new chapters so expect them to be as inconstant as a dragons fire breath. *Tags and Genres may be added as the story progresses. I have a Twitter now cause it would not stop bugging me when I wanted to look at news for a game, the link is here, https://twitter.com/JustAPhoenix2 . I don't know if it works or not on the edit screen, but you can copy/paste it anyway. I may do stuff there like give insight to some of the more trivial parts of the characters lives. (That refers to ALL character, not just Ash.)
