..Was it hot out here? You felt hot.

"Hey," Nick nudged you, "could you, like, relax?"

Oh crap, he could probably feel how tense you were. Just breathe..

"That's better."

Luckily, upon inspection, the other animals around here had stopped staring. You turned your attention back to Nick as he reached down and pulled out a pair of earbuds.

"Want to watch something?" He plugged them into his phone and held out one earbud for you.

"Sure."

You took the earbud and Nick passed you his phone, which was open to Netflix.

"Just pick whatever. My list is there as well."

You scrolled through the list he had. A couple of these you had seen.

"How about this?" You passed the phone back to him.

"Alright."

You crossed your arms comfortably as he held up the phone for you two to watch. Hope he was okay with what you chose..

Nick seemed to enjoy what you picked. That's good; you tried to choose something he'd like. Or at least, what you thought he would like. Nick's relaxed attitude had a calming effect on you. You weren't as nervous anymore about sharing a chair with him. But, how could he hold the phone up for so long?

You took the phone from him and held it instead. "I can hold it, too."

"Heh, thanks." Resting his arm on the chair, he seemed to appreciate that.

Wasn't more than a couple minutes before you switched to your other paw. Your other arm started to burn too.

...Surely there's a better way to do this?

Well, if there was, you two didn't have it. Therefore, for the duration of the movie, you both kind of just changed the phone-holding role as needed.

After about 10 seconds of the ending credits, Nick took his phone back and you handed him his earbuds. Checking the time on your own phone, it was now 7:44 AM. Still had a bit longer to wait. Nick put his phone down and hopped out of the chair.

Nick reached his arms up in a stretch, pulling up his shirt and revealing the white fur underneath. You couldn't help but stare, it looked so thin and soft.

He looked down at your entranced gaze and laughed.

"I'm gonna go get some food, want anything?"

With an, "Omigosh yes," he began to stroll away towards one of the food stands that was setting up nearby.

When he was turned the corner was and out of sight, you finally realized you had been gawking.

How could you just stare at him like that? You seriously needed to stop doing that, it's embarrassing.

While chastising yourself, a couple animals started to line up behind you and the other campers. The animals ahead of you didn't pack up their stuff, however, so you guess you didn't have to either.

Nick returned with two to-go boxes and two drinks. He had one drink in one hand, and the other drink balanced on top of the two boxes.

"How are you doing that?" You asked he handed you your [drink of choice].

"Doing what?" Wilde took the drink from the top box and you grabbed the box it had been sitting on.

"Holding the food so precariously?"

He sat down next to you on the chair's edge and took a sip of his drink.

"I was a waiter once."

"Really?" You opened the box to find [your favorite breakfast food].

"..no." He opened his box, which had a similar assortment of food and the two forks.

Why do you even bother asking?

Still, it felt amazing to eat something. Earlier today, you had gotten up just in time to get a drink before Nick picked you up. Looking at how quickly he finished his, you assume he hadn't eaten either.

Upon finishing, you tossed your stuff into the trashcan nearby.

As you returned, you saw the other animals in the area packing up their chairs. A tiger, who you assume worked for the fair, had come out to tell you guys to pack up because they'll be opening soon.

It was only 8:12 AM, 45-ish minutes from now wasn't that soon; at least, it didn't feel like it was.

Either way, you did have to comply. So Nick folded up the chair and took it back to the van. Everyone here was smart; they all had one friend with them to hold a spot in the line while they put stuff away.

Nick walked back up to the line which was still gaining future fair-goers. He had his head down and was typing something.

"Guess we'll have to stand now."

His ears flicked, "Hmm?"

You leaned against him, "Heh, nevermind."
