*BEEP BEEP BEEP*

You woke to the sound of your alarm blearing. How long has that been going? You thought to yourself. You sat up and felt around for the stop. You opened your eyes to the dark room and looked at the bright luminous clock. You're going to be late!!

You jumped up and threw on your wrinkled uniform. You forgot to get it iron last night! But luckily you had a shower last night in your rush of trying on dresses (which you still hadn't picked one yet). You flipped you head upside down and did a high pony tail, trying to keep it neat, but that just doesn't happen when you're rushing. You grabbed your bag and ran out the door, throwing a piece of toast in your mouth and shoving an apple in your bag that refused to properly open. You sprinted towards the awaiting car and slid in. You asked the driver to drive faster than usual and you sped off. You looked down at your watch. Damn, you thought, I'm going to be late.

You got to the school and before the ride had even stopped you were out. You ran as fast as your legs would take you with your heavy bag. 'I'm so late' you said under your breathe. While you were looking at your watch you ran into someone and crashed to the ground on top of them. You shook your head at your shock. You slowly got up and help your hand down to the poor person you landed on. You looked down to see who, none other than Haruhi Fujioka. Your face grew red. You had just landed on him! In your shock he took your hand. You just held it for a bit until you saw him raise an eyebrow. You lifted him up. He gave a slight chuckle. You laughed back awkwardly and a smile grew on your face. You couldn't help but feel embarrassed.

"I'm so sorry Haruhi!" You said brushing him off.

"Don't worry about it. I wasn't watching where I was going either. Bit of a rush when you're late for school," he smiled.

You stepped back and nodded, "Speaking of which, we should head off," you said.

"Yeah we should," he said picking up his bag. You walked in silence until you had to part ways.

"I hope to see you at the ball, (y/n)" he called.

"I wouldn't miss it!" you called back, waving.

You thought to yourself as you entered the late classroom, how it's funny that you can just forget about things, like being in a rush, when you're with someone you love.
