《SMG4: Super Mario X Meggy Galaxy》Chapter 7: Ghostly Galaxy

Mario and Meggy both finished the Fountain, and moved on to the next dome, the Kitchen. Ghostly Galaxy was their next stop.
Polari: Looks like one of your friends is inside. He looks like a green version of Mario.
Mario knew it was Luigi and was devastated by this.
Mario: Luigi! Please don't be tortured by ghosts.
Meggy: We gotta save him. I haven't seen one of our friends in days.
Mario: Don't you worry, Luigi. Meggy and I will save you and we'll be reunited soon.
They arrived at Ghostly Galaxy, and the first enemies they saw are a few Goombas with pumpkins on their heads.
Meggy: This is what they call spooky?
Mario: Yeah, you don't scare us. You die now.
Mario squashed the pumpkin Goomba, only to be burned by it's flame.
Mario: I'm burning! Why does the fire have to spawn in the same place as the thing I'm killing?
Meggy: I'll help you, Mario.
Meggy sets her gun to shoot water and sprays it at Mario, evaporating the flame.
Mario: Thanks, Meggy. (breathes) That's a spicy meat-a-ball.
They heard Luigi's cry for help from a distance.
Luigi: Help!
Mario: I'm-a coming for you, brother.
As they go through the twisted walkway to the mansion, they saw a Chain Chomp rolling towards them. They dodged it by going on these platforms on the sides.
They went inside the mansion, and came across a Boo. They weren't scared by him, though.
They saw a switch beside them. Mario pulled it and a light came from the ceiling. The Boo went towards the light, because him not being scary wanted him to end it all, and he vanished, leaving only a key.
They picked the key up, unlocked the door, and went inside the next room.
They explored the mansion until they saw two white mushrooms with Boo's faces on them.

Mario: What are these things?
Meggy: I don't know.
Meggy went over and touched one of them, and she turned into a Boo.
Meggy: (screams) Am I dead?
Mario: Calm down, Meggy. I got yo...
Mario accidentally ran into the other Boo Mushroom and turned into a Boo as well.
Mario: Oh Christ! It really is a spooky mansion.
Luigi: Help me!
Meggy: Maybe trying to save Luigi will take our minds off being Boos.
Mario: Yeah, good idea.
While flying around as a Boo, Meggy touched light and turned back to normal.
Meggy: Thank you. I never wanna be that again.
Mario: Hey, Meggy. Look at what I can do.
Mario turned transparent and went through a wall to advance.
Mario: Come on, Meggy. You need to stay as a Boo to go through this mansion.
Meggy: *sigh* Fine, I'll do it... for you.
Meggy went back to the Boo Mushroom, turned back into a Boo, avoided the light this time, went through the wall, and rejoined Mario.
The next room had a cage with Luigi inside.
Mario: Luigi! I found you!
Luigi: Ghosts! Eeeeek!
Mario forgot that he was a Boo as Mario thought of a way to turn back to normal. He and Meggy went inside the cage and touched the light inside. They returned to their normal selves and reunited with Luigi.
Mario: Luigi. I'm back! How did you escape?
Luigi: Mario, Meggy, you finally came! I escaped from the invasion back at the Star Festival and went with the rest of the Toads. I got lost with the group and ended up in this haunted mansion. It was terrible! Anyways, I found a Power Star for you.
Luigi gave the Power Star he found to Mario and Meggy, and they went back to the Observatory. Rosalina was waiting for them.

Rosalina: Welcome back. I can see your friend from here. If you ask him, I bet he'll help you search for Power Stars. And I'm sure he has a lot to tell you. You should go speak to him over there by the Garage.
Luigi was at the Garage with the rest of the Toads. Mario and Meggy went to talk to him.
Luigi: Mario and Meggy! You're looking for Power Stars, right? Let me help!
Mario: Oh, thank you! You're a good help, Luigi.
Meggy: Well, If we manage to return home to defeat SMG3 and Desti, will you help as well?
Luigi: Of course I will. Our friends are in danger, and our help is needed. See you around, you two. Keep looking for those Power Stars.
Mario: We will, Luigi. Thanks for your help!

Arduous New World
Alright, so I'm using this as a whetstone to practice my fiction writing. I have dyslexia, so bear with me if I have any mistakes, if you point them out I'll try and correct them. The story is LitRPG, I'll try and avoid some of the tropes, see FAQ. What happens is that the world turns out to be a simulation coming to an end, and beginning on its new simulation, in this process the system of the universe declares that the new simulation will be rpg-based. The protagonist however is thrust into an empty space before the simulation comes to an end, he escapes and finds that the world as he knew it is gone.Chapters will come sporadically as I'm quite busy IRL. FAQ1: There will be no Harem. 2: If any sexual content, it will be be below the screen, example sentence [they made love - or - they had sex]3: I'll try to keep character motivations steady instead of having characters who says and does one thing in one chapter, only to change their mind in the next one. 3: Villains or "bad guys" won't be charicatures. Of course, as in real life, you can meet these people, but as far as big bads or antagonists goes, they will have some modicum of intelligence. 4: The MC does not have an encyclopedia of random knowledge. 5: OP'ness won't happen overnight, and it is something that I'm wary of in terms of adding it, of course eventually the MC will grow more powerful, but there won't be any cheats, except hard work; and the luck factor will be more or less similar to the rest of the population. 6: He won't be opposing the universe, no matter how powerful he grows, he is too insignificant7: he won't become friends with god/the ghost in the shell etc, no matter how powerful he grows, he is too insignificant, and an ancient simulation ai has no interest anyway, why would it ? Okay that's that for now.

(Re-write) House Cazador: The Imperial Lion
For those of you who have read the original, please give this one a chance. I have been doing my best to rewrite the story several times over and I think I like this new direction I am taking it in. You will read some old stuff in here, that can't be helped, but like I said I want to take it in a whole other direction and who knows, you might like the new way it turns out. *** Warning *** -Reader discretion advised. -Descriptive battle scenes and Mature elements Ever wondered what you would do to save another? Killstealer
Unfinished - Apologies to anyone who was reading but I have no current intentions to revisit this story Alex was stuck in a rut: He was nearing thirty, and his career seemed to be going no-where; He used to have plenty of friends at university, but had gradually lost touch with them. He had recently started using a dating site, but truthfully he never quite got over his ex. It could be worse; he didn't spend his nights wallowing in self pity. However, he had a sinking feeling that his life was going no-where fast. When Alex decided to take up an old hobby all he really was looking for was something fun to do on friday nights. Thrust into another world by a mad mage Alex must adapt quickly to survive. Unfortunately, Alex showed up late to game night and ends up stuck with a pretty mediocre character in this game like reality. Alex must learn to survive in this new world; just because it all seems like a giant game doesn't make death any less terrifying. This will be my first attempt at writing litrpg. I wanted to set myself the challenge of writing every week and I think knowing people might be reading it will motivate me. I've always worked much better with external deadlines. FAQ Why should I read this LitRPG? I am writing because I enjoy it and you should read it if you enjoy it. If I had to make an elevator pitch I would start off by saying my MC is a rogue type character, which seems a relatively uncommon character at least based on what I have read. I also strive to make the supporting cast three dimensional characters, and not just caricatures. Finally, I can't forget that this is a LitRPG so I have tried to make a RPG system with depth, and one that makes sense. How often will you release chapters? At least once a week is my goal. I am a nurse with a baby at home, so between my hospital and my baby I won't have time for more unless something dramatically changes. Will there be romance? I won't rule it out as I try to let my characters write their own stories. However, there will NEVER be a harem, it just isn't something I am interested in. Gore, Profanity, and Traumatising Content? I don't intend to have any of these present at obscene levels, but my tolerance might be different to yours. The tags are mostly there to cover me.
