Abby's POV
This morning I woke up to my cell phone ringing. I groaned and crawled out of the bed with my eyes still shut. Aly tossed in her sleep and groaned.
"Ugh... Abby turn it off."
"Okay." I grabbed my cell phone off my desk and crawled out to the hall way shuting the door behind me.
"Hello?"
"Hey Abby?"
"Yeah?"
"Can I come over today? I wanna talk to you about something."
"Yeah sure. I guess." I looked down the hall and my eyes widened. I mumbled to myself.
"Oh. My. God!" I gues I said it aloud because Abe said.
"What'd you say?" I turned my head and said.
"N-nothing. I have to go okay? I love you bye." I said that last part really fast and then hung up before he could question me further.
I stood up on my feet slowly and came in contact with a half naked Nick. He was soaked and wet and had nothing but a towel wrapped around him. I tried not to look but I had to! I scanned his whole body and looked back up at him who was slowly moving closer to me. He stopped within a inch of me and I smiled nervously.
"H-hey." But for some reason he didn't smile back, he didn't say hi, and he looked a little upset.
"I heard what you said last night. You lied to me." I backed into the wall and said.
"Even if I knew what you were talking about. Which I don't. I'd say. What the heck are you talking about?" He narrowed his eyes at me and said.
"Don't play dumb. Last night. In the car." I looked at him confused and thought about what me and Greg talked about.
"I-I thought you were sleep... And drunk."
"I sobered up." I looked at him and decided to play it safe and leave. But he came closer and I didn't know what to do and for some reason I was silently praying that Alison would wake up and come out of the room but she didn't so I said.
"Um... Nick... Your a little too close for my liking." Maybe I shouldn't have said that because all he did was move closer. His wet hard body was pressing against mine and I wanted to kill myself.
"You know Greg's gonna wake up soon an-" He interrupted me and said.
"I don't care. You need to tell me why at that hotel you said that what we did didn't mean anything and I-" I interrupted him and said.
"First of all. I never said that. You said that. And I refuse to stand here and get interrogeted by you. The one who said he didn't like me in the first place. Now get away from me."
"Or what? Or else what?" I wasn't nervous anymore I was just plain out mad at him so I walked forward from the wall and said.
"I am not a child. And I don't know who you think you are pretending that you own the world or something. You take girls you get what you want and then toss them to the side until you get ready for them again. You did it Sara. You did it to Emma. You did it to Megan but you won't do it to me." He looked shocked at first at my sudden outburst and I felt kind of bad. I had no right bringing up all of those girl's. I didn't even know them. All I knew is that they all hated him for dumping them.

He didn't say anything he just stood there staring at me. That's when my mom walked down the hall.
She looked at us shocked and for a moment I almost forgot what position we were in. I looked back at Nick who was looking at my mom.
Then the door I was leaning against opened and I started to fall back. I tried to grab Nick but he was wet and slippery so I just grabbed his hair and before I knew it we were both on the ground.
I looked up at Aly and said.
"This is one position I won't be in for a LONG time."
~*~
"Danmit!" I dropped a plate on the floor and it shattered to pieces. My mom looked at me and said.
"What have I told you about using foul language?" I smiled and said.
"Sorry mom." I bent down and started to pick up the big pieces up from the floor when the doorbell rang. Mom started to help me with the glass and yelled.
"GREG! COULD YOU PLEASE GET THAT!" I heard footsteps pacing down the staires and he said.
"I got it." The door opened and before I knew it there were three people in the kitchen.
"Grace!" My mom looked up and smiled. She stood up and hugged her sister.
"Juliet! What are you doing here?"
"Didn't Greg tell you I was coming?" She looked at him and he said.
"Sorry I kind of got side tracked." I rolled my eyes and put the glass in the trash can. Aunt Juliet came up to me and said.
"Look at my baby! She is getting so big!" I smiled and she gave me a hug.
She pulled back and said.
"Oh I almost forgot! Happy Birthday!" I looked at her and said.
"Aunt Juliet. My Birthday is July 17th." She smiled at me and said.
"I know but I might not be here then. By the way are you doing anything special then?"
"Yeah celebrating the fourth of July." She laughed and said.
"What no party?" I shoom my head and said.
"I hate parties so... No."
"But your gonna be seventeen." I shrugged and said.
"Another reason to not have a party. Anyways enough about my birthday. I still haven't said hi to my baby cousin!" He rolled his eyes and said.
"Please don't call me a baby. I'm fifteen not to mention taller then you." I laughed and gave him a hug. Taylor was my the only cousin who was younger then me so I always called him a baby. He hated that and me.
I looked over at Ava who was standing there with a blank expression on her face. I crossed my arms and said.
"Ava." She scrunched her face up and said.
"Abigail." I rolled my eyes and saw our moms staring at us in pure dissapointment. I really didn't care. Ava was an aweful cousin and I really didn't like her and the fact that we were gonna be sharing a room really didn't make me smile. I unfolded my arms and said.
"I'm gonna finish the dishes." I turned and finished unloading the dishwasher and my mom and Aunt Juliet disappeared. Then it was just me, Ava, Greg, and Taylor.
"I'm sencing alot of... Tention in this room so I'm gonna go." Minus Greg. He grabbed his keys and went out the back door. I have no idea where he was going and quite frankly I didn't care. I was still bugging over this morning. Nick is impossible. First he kisses me. Then he tells me it didn't matter, then he get's mad over what? I don't know. Maybe he was mad that I said there was nothing going on between us. But there isn't. Why on earth would he be mad about that?

"So! Abby. You wouldn't by any chance happen to have a boyfriend would you?" He scared the living colors out of me! But I just laughed at him and said.
"Taylor. I'm your cousin." He shrugged and said.
"So what. Nobody has to know." I shook my head at that rediculous comment. And finally finished the dishes.
"Were family and to answer your question yes I have a boyfriend." He sighed in disappointment and Ava gasped in mock shockness.
"Don't tell me goody goody Abigail has a boyfriend!" I glared at her then mocked shockness and said.
"Don't tell me slutty slutty Ava is jealous." She narrowed her eyes at me and said.
"Why on earth would I be jealous of you? I will slit my wrist with a safety pin before I'd be jealous of anything you have." Narrowed my eyes with a smile and said.
"Don't tell me Ava doesn't have a boyfriend. Then again where's the surprise in that?" She glared at me and said.
"For your information I have a boyfriend and if you ever met him you'd fawn all over him like a lost puppy." I scoffed and said.
"Ava. If I felt myself getting attracted to one of your boyfriends, and I started hanging out at the mall with those tight mini skirts on. I would jump off of the empire state building and hope to catch my eyelid on a nail." Taylor laughed and said.
"Come on you two give it up before you get in an all out cat brawl." I glared at her and went in the living room. My mom and Aunt were sitting on the couch talking. She turned around and looked at us then said.
"Where's Greg?"
"He left. Don't ask me where he went." She nodded and said.
"Oh! Maybe you three should go out to the mall or something." I didn't wanna be rude so I just smiled and then Ava said.
"I'd rather eat underwear and die." She stormed out the front door and I looked at Taylor. He shrugged and said.
"I don't have a problem with going to the mall." I smiled at him and said.
"Let's go to Eros' instead. It's really fun." He nodded and I was about to walk out the door when I realized. I can't drive. Well that sucks.
I turned around and said.
"You wouldn't happen to know how to drive would you?" He looked at me amused and said.
"You don't know how to drive?"
"Sadly. No. But I can learn its just nobody taught me."
"Why didn't your brother or your mom?" I shrugged and said.
"I don't know."
"Well don't you anybody who could give us a ride?" Greg's gone. Ava's a bitch. There is only one other person I could ask but I really didn't want to.
I knocked on Nick's front door and after a few minutes later the door swung open. I smiled and said.
"Hi Ocean!" She grinned and ran out the door to hug me.
"Abby! What you doing here?" I bent down so that were face to face and said.
"I'm looking for your brother is he here?" She nodded and said.
"I'll go get him." She ran in the house and closed the door.
Not two minutes later the door opened again to reveal a surprised Nick and a shocked but very stable Megan. Wow this is weird. I looked at Nick and then at Megan and said.
"I'm sorry. I came here t- You know what? I'm just gonna go." I turned around and sighed. I am so dumb I knew this was a horrible idea. Why on earth couldn't I just know how to drive?
I walked back across the street and Taylor looked at me questioningly. I shrugged and said.
"Well guess we can't go. Now let's hurry up and go back inside okay?" He raised an eyebrow and I started to grab him and drag him to the house when someone tapped me on the shoulder.
I turned around and sighed. Man why did I bother him? That is it! I'm gonna have a stern talk with my self later.
"Can I talk too you for a minute?" I looked at him and said sarcastically.
"I don't know? Are you sure you aren't gonna baracade me to a wall? Or better yet the car?" He clenched his jaw and looked at Taylor.
"Can we have a minute please?" He sighed then looked me and said.
"Fine. But you better hurry up." I stood there quietly and leant back on the car I stared at particularly nothing as he leant on the car next to me.
"I'm sorry for earlier." I looked at him and said.
"It's okay." He scoffed and I looked at him confused.
"W-why are you scoffing exactly?" He folded his arms and answered.
"You know I really don't get you."
"What is there to get?"
"Why can't you ever just say what you want?"
"What do you mean? I always... Say what I want."
"No you don't actually." I snapped and stood in front of him.
"So what if I don't?" He smirked and said.
"Are you saying that you don't?" I narrowed my eyes at him and I started to pace back and forward.
"Abby?" I stopped and looked at him.
"Yeah?" He was about to say something when someone came behind me and tapped me on the shoulder. What is it with people and tapping me on the shoulder today? I turned around and saw him grinning at me.
"Abe! What are you doing here?"
"I called you this morning remember?" Yeah I guess I forgot some where inbetween being sexually harrased. I'm over exagerating.
"Yeah. Yeah I remember." I smiled and he kissed me gently on the lips. I closed my eyes and then immediately popped them back open when I remembered I was actually having a talk with someone.
I pulled away and looked over at Nick... Well the place he used to be.
Why'd he'd leave? I thought we were having a conversation. Oh well.
"You know I was wandering..." I looked back at Abe who was smiling down at me.
"What's that?"
"What'd you want for your birthday?" I rolled my eyes and sighed.
"Nothing." He gave me a look and said.
"Come on Abby you must want something." I sighed in annoyance and looked at Nick's house. It bugged me thinking of what him and Megan could be doing right now.
I looked back at Abe who was patiently awaiting my answer and said.
"Well... I kind of did wanna learn how to drive." He laughed and I looked at him confused.
"What?"
"You don't know how to drive?"
"Why does everyone think that's so funny?"
"Because it is. Your sixteen you should have known how to drive two years ago." I pouted and folded my arms.
"Whatever." He put his hands in his pocket and said.
"Come on."
"Where are we going?"
"I am going to teach you. How to drive." He tweaked my nose and smiled. I smiled back at him. How could I be so lucky?
"Okay. How hard could it be?"
~*~
I flopped down on the couch and Abe sat down next to me.
"You are NEVER driving my car again." I smiled. As you would guess my driving lesson didn't go so well and I almost crashed Abe's car... Twice.
My mom walked in and smiled.
"Hi Abe! I havn't seen you here in a while." He smiled and said.
"Hi Mrs... Grace." I smiled at him and my mom said.
"What are you two up too?" I looked at her and said.
"Nothing. Abe was just teaching me how to drive."
"And how did that go?" Abe looked at me and then at my mom and said.
"Yeah... Not so great." She shrugged and went back to wherever it is she came from.
~*~
"Abby why can't you just have a party? Your birthday is next month. Not to remind you that your gonna be seventeen." I rolled my eyes. Why are they hasseling me? All I'm doing is turning an age. What's the big deal? We were sitting in the living room watching footloose. Abe left my house at seven last night. He hasn't really been spending alot of time with me lately. And whenever he is around me. He just leaves without excuse.
Taylor sat down on the couch next to me and said.
"Yeah. Really. Would it kill you to have a party?"
"Yes. As a matter of fact it would." He narrowed his eyes at me and said.
"Come on. Just have a little get-together, a sleepover. Something. I wanna help." I laughed and said.
"No you want to molest my friends." He shook his head and said.
"That's not true. I just wanna have fun... And possibly hook up with your friends." I sighed and got up off the couch.
"Leave me alone." I was about to leave when Aly grabbed me and sat me back down.
"I have the perfect solution."
"Which is?"
"Instead of having a party on your birthday. We could have a party this weekend. That way it won't be for your birthday. Do you see where I'm going with this?"
"I know where I'm going. Back to sleep." I sat up and she pulled me back down.
"Come on Abby. It'll be fun. And I'll even plan the whole thing. You know me. I always know how to start a party." I gawked at her and said.
"And I suppose all I know how to do is end one?" She tweaked my nose and said.
"Right like always." We all started laughing and then Greg walked in.
"Hey Abby. I was wandering what you wanted for your birthday." I groaned and rolled my eyes.
"Why the hell is everyone so obsessed with my birthday?" He rolled his eyes and said.
"Okay first. I'm not obsessed with your birthday this is the first time I've asked you about it. Now answer the question."
"You know what your my brother. You figure it out." He gawked at me and said.
"Becareful I might just buy you a bottle of Jack." I scrunched my face up at him and said.
"Do whatever you want!" He groaned and went up staires.
I smiled and Aly sat up and said.
"So about that before party?"

Trial of Champions
It all began with a family trip to an amusement park. How were any of us to expect being transported from Earth to participate in some "Trial of Champions," whatever that was supposed to be? Given only an hour to choose the Classes that would come to define our strengths, we were almost immediately torn away from one another and thrust into a deadly game of survival. It wasn't all bad, though, as terrifying as it could be from time to time. The supernatural and magical powers of the Classes were like something out of an RPG, complete with leveling up by killing monsters and completing so-called "Sub-Trials." And despite the juicy Experience to be gained from killing other Champion Contestants, not all of the participants were bloodthirsty murderers; some could be allied with, or even befriended. Even if it seemed like everyone who had been chosen for this Trial, no matter what universe they came from, was at least a little bit crazy. I would survive this till the end, and I'd make sure that my siblings and parents did as well, no matter how many times we were separated from one another. No matter how long it took. No matter what I had to do. --- A first-person litRPG incorporating classes inspired by D&D and other sources. If you like blue boxes but don't need to have huge lists of numbers to scratch your itch, you should be satisfied on that front. Each chapter is, in my word processing document, seven pages long (approximately 3300-3900 words). The Traumatizing Content warning is there because of discussions of certain topics. Nothing that I think deserves the warning actually happens in the story.
