Greg's POV

When we got home Nick was acting really weird. I tried to talk to him but everytime he blew me off.

I dropped bags in front off my room door. And sighed. I can't believe I'm actually leaving.

I walked down to Abby's room and saw her lying down on the bed. I layed down next to her and she opened her eyes. I smirked and she closed her eyes back. I lied down on my back and closed my eyes too. Curse jet lag.

Man... I really don't want to leave but I have no choice. College is gonna be long and boring. But! As always life is liife.

Abby rolled over and hugged me. I out my arms around her and asked.

"What's the matter with you?"

"Nothing." Man! No one answers any of my questions! I am sick of that. What am I three?

"Come on Abby. Remember me? I'm your brother . You can tell me if something's bothering you."

"I'm fine. Really. I'm just tired that's all." If you say so. I kissed her head and closed my eyes back. I guess I am three.

~*~

"You are really starting to make me sick!" Cassie narrowed her eyes at me and smiled. I smiled too. We both know that wasn't true. I loved Cassie.

I met her back in middle school. We were at summer camp and she was the only one there who I actually recognized. We started spending everyday together and ever since theen I've been head over heels for her. I think I might actually wanna marry her one day. Thinking about that now kind of makes me laugh seeing as me and Nick promised we'd never get married to anybody. But I think I'll make an acception for Cassie. I sat down on my bed next to her and pulled her into me.

"I love you Cassie."

"I love you too Gregory."

My mom walked in and smiled.

"I'm sorry for... Intruding but Greg can you come and help me with dinner?" I looked down at Cassie and said.

"I'll be right there mom." She nodded and left.

"Man I was really getting comfy." I laughed through my nose and kissed her on the forehead.

"Its okay. We'll cuddle some other time." She smiled and got up.

"I'll call you later okay?" I nodded and she kissed me on the lips.

She said bye and walked out of the front door. I was heading towards the kitchen. When I heard a tiny knock at the door.

I opened and Alison was standing there with one of her goofy smiles.

"Why are you here? Didn't we just get rid of you?" She narrowed her eyes and said sarcasticly.

"Maybe I missed you too much." I returned the gesture and walked away. She went right up staires and I went to kitchen.

"What did you need help with mom?" She took the pasta from the oven and said.

"Nothing now." I smiled and she put the mittens on the counter top then turned around.

"But I do need to talk to you about something." I raised an eyebrow confused and she said.

"We are having dinner with Abe tonight an-" I interrupted her and said.

"Seriously mom?" She put her hands up and said.

"And! I want you to be nice." I shook my head vigorously and crossed my arms then said.

"There is just no way." She narrowed her eyes at me and I said.

"Mom. Look. For some reason I don't like him. And I am not gonna sit there and pretend that I do." She half smiled and shook her head.

"Your just like your father. Just try to be nice. And if not for me then do it for Abby. This is her first reall relationship and she really likes Abe." I sighed and answered.

"Fine! Okay? But guys like him are always hiding something and I am going to find out EXACTLY what it is before he goes any farther with my sister." She looked at me for a minute then said.

"I suppose this isn't the greatest time to ask you what you think about Joe huh?" I narrowedd my eyes and answered.

"That guy is just whooing hiself in." She started laughing and said.

"Go get Abby and tell her its time for dinner." I rolled my eyes and went up staires.

When I got there Alison was sitting on the floor with a unreadable expression. I looked at her then at Abby and said.

"Hey guys. Dinner's ready."

We went down staires and the door rung. I sure wasn't about to answer. Odds are it was Abe. Just thinking about him made me flinch. I walked in the kitchen and helped my mom get the bowls from the cabnet. I sat the bowls on the counter and Abby and Nick walked in.

"Baby can you take this out to the backyard were gonna eat out there." Abby grabbed the bowl and went out back. Alison and mom left with her.

Nick sat at the table and I sat on the other side of him.

"Are you sure your okay? I know I've been asking you that alot but..." I sstopped talking he looked really down. And if something bad happened I'm not sure I'll be any help right now.

He sighed and was about to say something until Alison walked in through the back. She was going to the fridge when the doorbell rang. I rolled my eyes and groaned. She walked towards the door and said.

"I'll get it." Nick got up and mumbled something about having to use the bathroom.

As soon as he was gone Alison walked in with... Abe. She didn't look happy and the smile she had when she got the door had no evidence of having been there at all. Abe looked at me and said.

"Hey." I nodded and he sat down at the table. Alison rolled her eyes and got glasses for everyone.

He pulled out his phone and started doing whatever it is that Abes' do. I sighed and Helped Alison.

We wern't really saying anyhting when Abe got up and said.

"Is it okay if I use the bathroom?"

"Yeah but you gotta use the one upstaires." He nodded and went upstaires.

When he was gone I heard a vibrating noise on the table. It was his phone. Alison looked at the phone then at me. She sat a glass down on the table and picked it up.

I walked over to her and said.

"Alison? What are you doing?" She looked at me and then said.

"Nothing. I just wanna see who it is."

"No. Just put it down before he comes back." She sighed and looked at it anyways.

I stood there nervous as hell while I looked at her. Her eyes widened and her mouth dropped.

"Oh. My. God!" I raised an eyebrow and she looked at me.

"What?" Before she could answer I heard foots coming down staires. She panicked and threw his phone back on the table she missed and his blackberry fell on the floor. It made a loud noise and broke to pieces. I ran back over to the counter and she just stood there with a shocked look on her face.

He came around the corner and looked at her then the table.

"Is... This my phone." She looked up at him and managed to put a smile on.

"I accidently knocked it down. Sorry!" Man can she lie.

He smiled and said.

"Its okay." She turned around and started back washing the cups. He went out back and when I was sure he was gone I asked.

"So... What was on his phone?" She looked up at me and said.

"Nothing mister put it down." I rolled my eyes and said.

"Come on Alison I'm not kidding tell me." She rolled her eyes and said.

"He was texting."

"Uh... I know that much."

"His friend." I sighed and rolled my eyes.

"Alison. Are you gonna keep speaking in metaphores or are you gonna tell me?" I groaned and said.

"Okay. Okay. I'll tell you." I stood there for a minute before saying.

"Well?" She started to talk but before she said anything, Nick walked in the kitchen.

We both looked at him and he looked at us before saying.

"Well. If it's that serious." Then walked out of the backdoor.

I looked at her and she grabbed the juice and said.

"I'll tell you later."

~*~(You all know what happened then)

I bammed on the bathroom door and yelled.

"Abby get out of there girl! I gotta use the bathroom!" She didn't open the door she just yelled back.

"Good! Hold it until you burst!" I groaned and went downstaires. Here I am arguing with my sister over a bathroom when there is a perfectly good one downstaires. When I reached the bathroom door the phone started to ring.

"Oh. Come on!" I turned around and grabbed it.

"Hello?"

"Hey! Is your mom home?"

"Not right now. Who is this?"

"It's your aunt Juliet."

"Oh! Hey."

"Listen I was calling to let your mom know that I'm coming over in the morning."

"Your driving all the way from Nebraska?"

"Yes. Greg I am. And I'm staying for a few days. Plus I have to get Ava from her god mother's house."

"Okay. I'll let her know when she get's here."

"Okay! Bye bye."

"Bye." I hung up the phone and turned around to see Abby leaning in the door.

"Who was that?"

"That was aunt Juliet. Did you know that Ava was up here this whole time and didn't even come see us?" She shrugged and walked over to me then said.

"I don't care. She's not my favorite cousin in the world anyways."

"Yeah and she's gonna be here tomorrow. I can't wait to see what you two fight about this time." She rolled her eyes and I laughed.

"Are you ready to go. Darci says were going to the party whether we like it or not. And. She's gonna be here any minute so go get dressed." I nodded and then remembered just how bad I had to go before darting off to the bathroom.

~*~

"Abby would you please stop grabbing on me?" She grabbed my shirt tighter as we made our way through this over crowded party. I mean seriously? How many people can you really fit in one house?

We finally made it to an empty sitting room then Darci turned around and smiled.

I have no Idea why I let her drag me to parties. I don't know if its whether I love her or just plain scared of her.

Abby walked up to her and said.

"Okay we came. Now can I go home?"

"No! Were gonna have fun then you can go home." She rolled her eyes and left the room. I have no idea where she went. I didn't know who's party this was.

"Darci? Whose party is this?"

"My friend Frankie's."

"And does he happen to be anything like you."

"Well yeah. But a million times worse." I looked at her and shook my head. She didn't even let me bring Cassie. For what reason I don't know. And I don't even care. I just wanna go home.

While I was stading there I didn't even realize people were actually coming in the room. Then arms slammed around my neck. I turned and saw Nick smiling at Darci with a beer in his unoccupied hand.

"What's up man? I didn't know you were gonna be here." I removed his arm from around me and said.

"I'm not supposed to be here. I was forced." Darci licked her tongue at me and said.

"I was trying to get you out of the house and away from Cassie." I looked at her confused before asking.

"Why would I need to be away from Cassie?"

"Because you spend WAY too much time with her. And plus I'm not going to college and I want to have fun with my two best friends before they leave me. Is that so wrong?" I shook my head and Nick said.

"Yeah. You spend waaaayyyyy too much time with her. And before you know it she'll be pregnat and you'll be dropping out of college to go work at some cheap fast food resteraunt that doesn't even pay half the money it cost's you to buy a bag of diaper's." Darci looked at me then him and I grabbed the bottle from his hand.

"I think you've had enough of this." He groaned and said.

"Come on man. I didn't have enough to drown out all of my sorrows." Darci started laughing and I just shook my head.

"Nick. I would send you home but your to drunk. So I'll say this as your brother. Please sit down." He sighed and shook his head.

"Is your sister here? I need to tell her I'm sorry before I sober up." I raised an eyebrow confused and said.

"Why would you be sorry? To my sister?" He didn't answer my question he just looked right past me and said.

"Is it me or is it getting purple in here?" I shook my head in disbelief. Is he serious?

Darci took his hand and said.

"Okay buddy I think you need to lie down." And with that they were gone. I shook my head and some really pretty brunette obviously drunk came in with a group of people and yelled.

"Okay everyone. We are about to play seven minutes in heaven." She grabbed my hand and drug me to the already crowded sitting area. We were standing in front of a closet and said.

"Stay here. I'm going to go pick your girl." My eyes widened and Darci walked up to me and said.

"Cassie's gonna love this." I glared at her and she playfully glared back. This is all her fault.

I was just standing there when I heard the brunette say from behind me.

"Darci. Would you put these blindfolds on him please?" She smirked at me and said.

"Sure thing." She grabbed the blindfolds and I reluctantly let her put them on me. Before I knew it I was in the closet. In the dark. With a girl I didn't even know.

I sighed and heard her say.

"Um... Do you think I'd be against the rules to take the blindfolds off?" I laughed a little before saying.

"I don't know. I've never played this game before."

"Well I kinda wanna take mine off. Do you mind?"

"Nah. Go ahead." She sighed and I'm guessing she took them off. So I took mine off too.

It was dark so I couldn't see. All I saw was the color of her hair. Which was blonde. She didn't sound like anybody I knew. So I just sorta stood there.

"Man this is stupid." She didn't say anything. So I sat down on the closet floor. I can't believe I'm gonna be in here for seven lousy minutes. She sat down next to me and my phone started vibrating.

It was just a text from Cassie. And I had no choice but to blow her off. It was either that or telling her I was in the closet with a girl playing seven minutes in heaven.

I was about to put my phone back in my pocket when the light flashed in her face. I put it up to her face and she squintted her eyes from the light.

"What are you doing?" She put her hands up to block the light and I saw her.

She did have blonde hair but it was a more gold color she had shoulder length curly hair. Her eyes were green and I could've swore I was looking at an angel. Man she was beautiful. Don't get me wrong Cassie is all I want but... Man. I laughed and put my phone in my pocket.

"Sorry." She laughed through her nose and said.

"Its okay. By the way. My name is Morgan." I smiled even though she couldn't see me.

"I'm Greg." She stood up and said.

"You know there should really be a light in here." She started pacing around in this really small closet and I just sat there.

After a few seconds she finally said.

"I found it!" I heard the swicth flip followed by a soft scream. She fell down and landed right on top of me. I looked up at her and smiled. Her face got this weird rosey color. And she smiled at me shyly then said.

"S-sorry. I'm clumsy."

"That's okay." Just then the door opened and I saw Darci standing there with her mouth propped open. We looked at her then eachother and sat up. I stepped out out of the closet after Morgan and then shut the door behind me. She smiled at me and walked away. I stared at her while she dissapeared through the crowd.

Darci hit me on my arm and yelled.

"GREG!" I looked at her and said.

"What'd I do?"

"You weren't supposed to kiss her! You know better! I should tell Cassie." I narrowed my eyes and said.

"Like I'd ever cheat on Cassie. We didn't do anything. She fell."

"And you couldn't catch her?"

"Um hello! I did." She rolled her eyes and said.

"Whatever." I shook my head at her and saw Abby sitting down at a table looking all too bored so I walked over to her.

She looked up at me and said.

"Where have you been?"

"Playing a game. You ready to go home?"

"I was ready when I got here."

"Okay. Go wait outside by the car. I'm gonna go tell Darci were leaving." She nodded happily and then walked out of the front door.

I walked over to Darci and said.

"Hey. Darce. I'm gonna take Abby home okay?"

"Okay. But take Nick with you he is just piss drunk and there iss no way he's walking home with me." I laughed and shook my head.

"He's up in Frankie's room."

"Okay. Later."

I walked up staires and guessed Frankie's room was the one that had a sign on it that said 'No Trespassing' That's kinda funny.

I opened and saw a drunk Nick lying on the bed.

"Um... Nick?" He groaned and sat up.

"What? Is the house on fire?" I laughed and said.

"Nah man. Were leaving." He got up and said.

"Fine." While we were walking down the hall I suddenly remembered what he said about being sorry to Abby. I wander what that was all about. I mean they did spend an aweful lot of time together in New York. But maybe it was just the drunkeness talking.

When we got outside Abby was leaning against the car and waiting for me. I guess she wasn't expecting to see Nick because her eyes widened when she saw him then he stopped walking all together. Their reaction to seeing eachother was beyond suspicious. But I let it go and just got in the car.

I was driving home and looked in the passenger side at Abby. Then I looked in the rearview mirror and saw a sleep Nick. He really needs to lay off drinking for a while.

I turned to Abby and asked.

"You okay." She looked at me and smiled then said.

"Yeah. I'm fine." I nodded and waited a whiile before asking.

"If something was going on between you and Nick... You'd tell me right?" She looked surprised and said.

"Why would you think-"

"Its just that he said something earlier. I don't know. I was just wandering." She sighed and said.

"Really? What'd he say?"

"He said something about he was sorry. He didn't really say anything after that."

"Listen Greg..." She stopped talking. Oh God! Something is going on. I knew it.

"You know what? Forget it. You know he also thought the room was a different color so." She laughed and said.

"I'm sorry that was funny but. Greg I'd never lie to you. You know that. And there is absolutely nothing going on between Nick and me. Okay? So don't go all jumping to conclusions okay?" What a relief! I was so glad they weren't having one of those secret relationships. But I decided to play it off and said.

"Well. Considering you've liked him ever since you found out what that word meant I could believe that something was." She laughed and said.

"Whatever Greg." I smiled and shook my head. Its not that I have a problem with them being together. I mean I would rather her be with someone I know then someone I don't know like Abe. I hate that boy! Speaking of Abe. I still haven't talked to Alison.

I pulled up in the driveway and saw Alison stading on our front porch.

"Speak of the devil." Abby looked at me confused then followed my gaze and said.

"What is she doing here? Its almost midnight.'' I shrugged and turned the car off. Abby got out and I turned around to see Nick sitting there looking out of the window. Was he up the whole time? Whatever.
