《Senior Year》The Warning

After the premiere was over, the limo driver drove you all back to the rental house. You offered for your cousin to stay for the night. But he said that he wants to get back home, which you understood. You gave him a hug goodbye and he left to go to the airport.
You crashed down on the couch. You were exhausted. After you took your heels off, you felt much better. When you finally found the strength to get up, you went to your room. You got in the shower to get the hairspray out and the makeup off. You changed into your school sweatshirt and fuzzy pants. You dried your hair, but it was still a little damp. When you went back out into the living room, Thomas, Dexter, and Kaya were on the couch.
You sat next to Thomas and put your head in his lap.
"How did you like your first movie premiere?" Dexter asked.
"It was awesome. All of the fans loved seeing me. I felt...special." you said.
"That's because you are special." Thomas said, placing hair behind your ear.
Everyone else, except for Dylan, Will, and Alexander came into the living room. Wes sat down next to Ki Hong.
"Oh Wes. Why was our scene cut from the movie?" Thomas asked.
"It just seemed too extra and it kind of made the movie a little bit longer. The editing team is putting all the deleted and extended scenes on the DVD." Wes explained.
"Thomas?" you said, sounding tired.
"Yes, love?" he said.
"Can you stroke your finger on my face? Please." you asked.
He smiled and started to stroke your face with his finger. It felt so soft that your eyes were getting heavy. You turned over. Your phone started to vibrate on the coffee table.

"Y/n, your phone." Kaya said.
You woke up from your short slumber. You groaned as you got back from the couch. You picked your phone up and opened it. There was four medium sized text messages from your ex. You groaned in frustration.
"What is it, love?" Thomas asked.
"It's my ex again." you said.
You closed out of the text, then went to the group message between you, Kendra and, Gwen. The three of you had a small conversation.
You: I think it's time to my ex off the Cliff.
Gwen: Here's a better idea. Let's banish him into the Maze. Schedule it with the Keepers, maybe they'll let you do the honors.
Kendra: Or feed him the Grievers or Cranks.
You: Hmmm. They all sound horrible. It's hard to choose.
"Are you guys willing to help me banish my ex into the Maze? And or throw him off the Cliff?" you asked everyone, making Maze Runner references.
They all agreed.
"I'd be honored." Thomas said, then he took your phone out of your hands.
"What are you doing?" you asked.
"Giving that prick one final warning." Thomas said, sounding serious and irritated.
He took about five to seven minutes typing a medium sized text.
"What did you say?" you asked.
"You listen and you listen good. There's nothing you can say or do to break us apart. If you try to do anything to her, I'll fly all the way across the Atlantic Ocean to break you in half. I love y/n more than anything and I'm treating her better than you ever could. So, you better leave her alone or you're gonna get it. Mark my words, you've been warned." Thomas read.
"Perfect." you said, then Thomas sent the text.

Upheaval - The Gentle Apocalypse
The world is changing, but people carry on. Early in the summer, the world started changing. It is not known who first found out, but magic was real, or had become real. Of course, with the world as interconnected as it is, it took only two days for most people to know about it. Online groups sprang up, eager to test humanity’s collective new toy. Quickly, it was found out that it was all but harmless; there were (unconfirmed) reports of deaths as soon as the first day. Nevertheless, it is a novelty to most, trying it out like you’d try sports or a game. The world marches on as scientists set out to study this new phenomenon, to use it for furthering our collective knowledge and to understand it. But that won’t show any results any time soon; it is only five days since the “Reveal” meanwhile I’m out camping. I had planned this since March, to unwind from sixteen years of studying. Finally! Finally I am done with school! Getting a job is another matter… So I figured, with this magic stuff, why not try out meditating on it? I’ve enjoyed more than enough books and other media that at least some of the magic methods should be viable. Turns out, the world might not let me relax. R15+ Coarse language and adult themes. This story is finished.
