《Senior Year》You Survived!

All three of you decided to meet up in the cafeteria. You walked in and saw a sea full of students. As you were walking through the cafeteria to find your friends, a lot of kids were saying hi to you.
"Y/n! Over here!" you heard. It was Gwen.
You ran over to them and they embraced you into a group hug. It felt good to see your friends again.
You guys were talking about summer vacation. It was mainly you talking because they wanted to know everything about the movie adventure. All they did was attend multiple summer camps and went on small family trips.
After discussing that, you guys looked each other's schedules. None of you are in the same classes. All three of you groaned. While you continued to tell them all about the movie, some kids came up to you. They asked you about the movie too. You assumed that they saw your posts on social media. After they walked away, you turned back to your friends.
"Looks like you're getting famous around here." Kendra said.
"I guess I am. Who else in this school spent their summer filming a movie?" you said.
You showed them some pictures and told them some stories. Then, someone else came over to you guys. You looked up and saw the one person you never wanted to see again...your ex.
"Umm, hi y/n." he said.
"What do you want?" Gwen said for you.
After he broke up with you, you wanted NOTHING to do with him.
"I saw that you were filming a movie over the summer." he said.
As if on cue, the bell rang.
"Perfect timing. Let's go." you said to your friends.
The three of you walked out of the cafeteria. You didn't even knowledge your ex as you walked away. You guys went into the bathroom.

"Don't let him ruin your first day of senior year. Besides, you're now dating Thomas Brodie-Sangster." Kendra said.
"If he does anything, let us know and we'll banish him into the Maze." Gwen said, making a Maze Runner reference.
"Or feed him to the Grievers and/or Cranks." you said.
Thinking of that made you feel better. Your ex doesn't deserve you; he ruined everything and it can't be fixed. You felt your phone vibrate in your pocket. You took it out and saw a text from Thomas.
He said: "Have a great first day. I miss you so much. Tell me all about it later. I love you ❤️"
Reading that text from him made you smile. You texted him back. You, Kendra, and Gwen went your separate ways to get to your first class. You had Government, Kendra had Photography, and Gwen had Math.
~~~~~~~~~~
The first day went by really fast. The classes you had was Government, Teacher's Assistant, and Algebra II. After your third class ended, it was time for you to leave because you had senior release, which is a privilege where seniors get to leave school early.
When you got home, you dropped your things and let out a sigh of relief. You survived the first day of senior year! You decided have to snack, while texting your family and the cast all about the first day.
When you were texting Thomas, you told him about your ex. By the looks of his texts, he sounded annoyed by that. When you told him about the Maze Runner references, he responded with funny reactions.
When your parents got home, they took you out to eat to celebrate the first day.
46 Year Old Syndrome
The daily Litrpg journal of a fairly average 46 year old man in a world where hundreds of thousands of people suddenly have a super power.Follow him as he learns skills, runs away a lot, suffers crippling headaches, avoids reading his titles, and tries to avoid breaking his body that didn't get enough calcium and vegetables.[Disclaimer 1: Despite the following, I will fix any typos pointed out. This is a writing exercise so chapters are mostly first drafts, otherwise I'd end up rewriting each chapter for a month or more with no real changes. My goals are a steady output by not using perfectionism as a procrastination method. I've already got laziness and additions to reading/games, I don't need a 3rd reason to procrastinate.][Disclaimer 2: The main character is a more normalized version of me, with 170% less laziness installed, and a few buffs like greater courage. Other things like having a job are partially similar. No other characters are based on real people because most people I know are either too normal to be useful or too fucked in the head to be believable.]
The Mortal Acts
The Mortal Acts is an epic progression fantasy with a lower focus on training aspects and a great focus on discovering new ways of using powers intelligently. I've always been drawn to stories where characters use their powers creatively to overcome opponents and obstacles, and I think all the possibilities can provide a great playground for twists and turns. It's inspired by a variety of media, including Will Wight's Cradle, Hunter x Hunter, and Bioshock, so if you like the creative power use elements from those, come check it out. This is my first serial, and please feel free to leave comments and feedback. For backstory, behind-the-scenes, and other fun stuff, come chat on my discord! Become a patron to read up to 20 chapters ahead here! Blurb: Riven Morell cuts short his regular life at school and home when his mother falls terminally ill. Desperate to find a cure, he travels to Severance Frontier, a desolate land haunted by hordes of ghosts, witches, and demons collectively called the Deathless. But a miraculous cure doesn’t magically fall into his hands. Things are worse in Severance Frontier than Riven had assumed. Ghosts are banding together into armies, demons are kidnapping anyone who strays out of settlements, and witches are enslaving everyone left and right. Riven, of course, gets embroiled in the mess. Missions to curb the Deathless activity are one thing, but when it starts to look like this is just the beginning of a war that extends beyond the mortal realm, Riven has a hard time focusing on why he came to Severance Frontier in the first place. His mother is inching towards death with every passing day, but if he doesn’t face down the Deathless, what little civilization the Frontier holds will be overrun and destroyed. Thankfully, it looked like the Deathless might just hold the secret of the elusive cure.
