《Cinder x Male Reader: Volume 2》Tasks

"So, they attacked you?" Cinder asked as I stood talking to her in our room. Sapphire, Mercury, Emerald, and Mom are all here.
"Yes" I said "These people aren't like the rest, their are a lot more, smart, and their leader, Lightning, is a very strong fighter" I said as she paced back and forth. She stopped for a second then turned to me.
"An attack on you is an attack on all of us. We will defeat them, and we will restore peace and order to our kingdom. First, we will have to find out where their base is" she said. Then mom stepped up.
"I can do that, with my semblance it shouldn't be too hard" she said as Cinder nodded. Raven smiled as She turned into a raven and flew out the window.
"Next, we need to show people what happens when you cross us. But we will also need to show what happens when you're with us" she said as I stepped up.
"Let me. I'll do it" I started "I already made my soldiers execute the twenty or so men and women we captured. I'll just show them what happens if they are just peaceful" I said and Cinder agreed with my plan as well.
"Finally, we will need someone to take her out when we find her. If all of us go we could get lured into a trap." She said. Sapphire and Mercury stepped up.
"Consider it done, boss" Sapphire said as they left.
"Emerald, I'm gonna need your help. I've gotta plan" I said as she nodded and walked out the door.
I looked back at Cinder and saw that she was a little sad.
"Babe, what's wrong?" I asked as I walked up to her.
"... With everything going on, we never see each other anymore" she said. I wasted no time, and hugged her.

"I promise, when this is over I'll be by your side every day" I said. She nodded in my shoulder.
Timeskip
Emerald and I were walking in the halls of My home, as she was probably wondering about my plan, and why she was needed.
"So, why do you need me?" She asked confused.
"We need to assure our followers that they are protected and cared about, right?" I asked. She nodded. "Well, I'm gonna send out a public broadcast showing all of our happy supporters. We can't pull someone off the street, they're too scared of us, and it would look fake. We are going to use your illusions to present a "big happy family" for all Vale to see" I said as I reached door to the outside, allowing for us to do such work.
"Smart idea, but what do you really want me to show?" She asked as I opened the front door.
"Make it show us defending citizens from them. It will do two things at once. Turn them against the uprising, and get them on our side." I said pulling out my scroll and showing the empty landscape.
"You got it"
Raven Pov
I am flying around still trying to find these pesky rebels, and their base. No sign of anything or anyone yet. But, what I did notice is someone in trouble from Grimm.
"HELP PLEASE" he yelled running away from the beowolf.
I sighed in annoyance and flew down, transformed in mid air, and landed on the beowolf with my katana, Impaling and killing it.
The man that was running, turned around and looked at me. He looked at me thankfully.
"Oh my goodness, thank you. I don't know what would've happened if you didn't show up" he said running up to me.

"Don't expect this every time. Rely on yourself, not me or anyone else" I said looking at him. He looked a bit sad.
"O-Okay. Is there something I can do in return?" He asked and I thought for a moment.
"Just spread the word that I helped you. Tell everyone you know to trust in us."
Of course, it's the least I could do!" He said happily.
"Good" I said transforming into a raven, then flying away.
Sapphire Pov
"Alright, listen up men!" Mercury yelled at our soldiers, as they saluted us. Mercury looked at me, asking for me to take over. I walked up to the front of them.
"Okay, I'm sure by now you've heard of Lightning and her little group of troublemakers trying to disturb our peaceful rule. But she will fail. And we will be the ones to make her fail!" I yelled as they all cheered. "Spies, you will double your efforts. Soldiers will always be ready for battle at any point. Elites, you will be by mine and Mercury's sides at all points. Everyone understand?" I asked and they all said in unison.
"YES MAM"
"Good. Men, we will restore peace and order to these kingdoms!"

The Chronicles of Artharian Dagworth
Back in 2020 there were many theories on how the world would end. From the many religions apocalypses, nuclear wars that would leave the planet inhabitable, global warming doing the same, biological weapons getting out of control, viruses mutating into unstoppable diseases to the dead raising to prey on humanity, either due to a virus or just because hell filled up. Also, aliens, from the war mongering kind to the ones so advanced they didn’t see us as more than worms. And of course there was the fail proof theory that the world would end when the sun died. In a bunch of billion years give or take. Althougth some new scientist were discussing if the end would be on the take side, since when the sun started dying things would go haywire on the entire solar system and we would collide with mercury or maybe mars way before the expanding sun engulfed earth. But I digress… Now, those were the mainstream theories that the everyday Joe, who didn’t know the big secret, worried about. So, if you were to ask me which theory was correct I can tell you that I haven’t seen any little green man, at least not from another planet, and so far the sun is still shining, although it’s been only 9 years since everything went to hell, not the few billions (give or take) the scientist predicted, so that one isn’t ruled out yet. These two aside, I'd say all of them. Hey everyone, this is my first attempt at writing. I have been planning to do it for a really long time, and while this is not the one epic fantasy idea I ever wanted to write, I think it's a good one. The plan is to write an end of the world urban-fantasy series. Think a world like Dresden Files, Alex Verus, Iron druid, where magic is real but exist hidden from society meets the apocalypse. It will be written in first person in the Dresden Files style, no plans for other POV for now. As you probally alredy guessed from my style, english is not my first langague, so while google corrector helps, expect grammar errors, and I'd be gratefull for anyone to point them. I plan to write 2 to 3 chapters a week, 2000-4000 words each. Might change as I get more experience and depends on my free time. Cover image from the colections of getwallpapers.com
