Scott walked Astrid home after she told everyone the story of her life. The walk was mostly quiet and peaceful, yet Astrid could see that Scott was nervous.
"So you're over a 1000 years old, huh?" Scott sighed. Astrid nodded and continued walking. "Why didn't you tell us?" He asked.
"Why didn't you tell your mom that you're a werewolf right away, Scott? or why didn't Stiles want tell his father?" Astrid questioned, knowing that they had the same reasons. "I did it to protect you all."
"We know how to protect ourselves from the supernatural." Scott argued, opening the gate as they entered Astrid's property.
"Not from vampires or witches" Astrid replied.
They walked towards the door of her mansion. She looked at Scott and gave him a sad smile.
"Astrid, wait." Scott said before Astrid entered her house. "I'm sorry but-"
"We can't be together anymore?" Astrid asked and Scott nodded his head.
"Sorry."
"Its okay. Good Night, Scott" Astrid told the werewolf as she entered her mansion. She knew that this was coming but it still hurt.
She listened to him walk away, leaning on the front door. She sped to her room and went to sleep, hoping that at least her dreams wouldn't be sad.
---------
Astrid woke up the next day, miserable. He brothers death making her depressed and she felt like she could start crying any second.
She closed her eyes and sighed. When she opened her eyes, her irises were smaller, she didn't turn off her humanity but she stopped caring, she stopped feeling sadness, grief, empathy or even happiness. She could still control what she was doing without killing everyone in her way, like vampires who turn their humanity off do.
She got up from her bed, a smile now forming on her face. She opened her closet full of clothes.
She put on a tight, black dress which went just above her mid-thigh. It was on straps and showed a bit of her cleavage. She put on some black high heels and did her make-up. She then straightened her hair, took a purse and put her phone inside.
She walked towards her front door, opening the massive doors and walking out.
She got into her car and began driving, leaving her property. She drove through the busy streets of Becaon hills. When she drove past the school, she saw Scott, his pack and kira staring at her car.
Suddenly, she heard her phone ring so she picked it up while driving.
"Hello" Astrid said sweetly.
"Can you stop your car and drive back to school? The lessons are about to start." Scott told her.
"Sure" Astrid replied and made a U turn. She parked in front of the school and got out of her car. She heard Stiles swallow loudly as he checked out her body.
"You came to school dressed like... that?" Scott asked.
"Well, sweetheart, I'm not coming to school today. I'm not in the mood." She answered, walking towards the group. "Besides, I've already graduated like a 100 times." She smiled and began walking back to her car.

"What's wrong, Astrid?" Lydia asked, making Astrid stop and turn around to look at the banshee.
"What do you mean, Lydia?" Astrid asked her friend.
"You were clearly sad yesterday and now you're acting like you don't care about anything." Allison told the vampire, almost shouting at her.
"Because I don't care." Astrid laughed. "I mean, it's better to not care than to care too much." Astrid added and opened the door to the driver's seat.
"Have fun at school, kira." Astrid told the New girl and got into her car, driving away from the teenagers.
She drove for ten minutes before driving out of town. She drove to the next nearest town and parked her car In front of a bar.
----------
"I'm worried about her..." Allison told the pack.
"What happened to her?" Kira asked.
"We don't know... But we have to find out." Scott told her.
"Maybe it's a vampire thing..." Stiles shrugged his shoulders. "Should we go to Deaton?"
"No. Let's go to Morell... She knows more about originals." Scott told Stiles.
"Originals?" Kira asked.
"Kira, sweetie. You go to your first lesson and we'll join you later. Okay?" Lydia told kira as the walked towards the counsellors office.
----------
Astrid sat on a bar stool, drinking whiskey. The Bartender looked at her, surprised that she wasn't drunk yet.
"Hello, beautiful" said a man as he sat next to her. He had short brown hair and dark brown eyes.
"Hi, handsome" Astrid smiled sweetly at the man.
"What brings you here?" The man asked with a smile. "Something bad happened recently?"
"My brother was murdered." Astrid told the man bluntly.
"I'm sorry for your loss" the man answered as he took a sip of his beer.
"Its fine. I got used to people dying." Astrid replied and turned her body to face the man. "What brings you here?"
"My girlfriend of 3 years cheated on me with my best friend." The man answered with tears in his eyes.
"I hate cheaters." Astrid muttered.
"Were you ever cheated on?"
"No... probably because no one dared to cheat on me" Astrid replied with a smile.
"What do you mean? Is your dad one of those very protective ones?" The man joked.
Astrid chuckled. "Quite the opposite, really. My father hates me" Astrid replied and drank a shot. "My brother on the other hand. Well, he's overprotective and a psychopath." She told the man.
"Ah, so your partners were scared of him..." the man smiled.
"Yup... except for my last one. His name is Scott. He broke up with me. No one broke up with me before..." Astrid added.
"Your brother must be scary if no one even broke it off with you" the man laughed.
"Yes... everyone. He even scares me sometimes." Astrid confessed.
"How come your last broke it off?"
"He doesn't know what my brother is capable of." Astrid smiled. "And I'll stop my brother if he tries to hurt him." She chuckled.

"I never got your name." The man said with a smile.
"Astrid Mikaelson... you?"
"Caleb Rivers" the man replied, taking a sip of his drink. "May I have your phone number?"
"Sure." Astrid said as she gave him her phone number.
"Okay. I'm going to save you as Astrid Michaelson..."
"Its a k" Astrid told Caleb.
"Hmm?" He questioned as he looked at her.
"My surname. It's spelt with a K not a ch. Mikaelson." She corrected the man.
"Oh... weird spelling." The man said as he called her phone."There. Now you have my phone number so call me whenever you'd like" he winked at Astrid. Astrid saved his number and smiled at the man.
-------
Scott, Lydia, Stiles, Allison and Isaac walked into Morell's office. She looked up at them, sitting down on her chair.
"What brings you all here?" Morell asked the group of teenagers.
"Astrid" Scott replied.
"Why don't you all take a seat?" Morell told them and they sat down. "If you want to know something about Astrid then why don't you just ask her?" Morell questioned.
"Because she drove off somewhere" Scott told the emissary. "She said that she doesn't care about anything. She looked so..."
"Empty?" Morell asked. "Normal vampires have the ability to turn off their humanity."
"What do you mean?" Stiles asked.
"They'll stop feeling. They'll be numb to any emotions... fear, sadness... grief. They do what they find fun. Killing, feeding, sex... the list goes on. Most just kill"
"So you're saying that she's out there, feeling nothing and probably killing everyone in her way?" Isaac said, standing up.
"Sit down Isaac... originals are unable to turn off their humanity. However, they can ignore their emotions. She won't feel anything but might not turn into a killer."
"Might not.. so there's a chance that she will?" Allison asked.
"Yes. There's a chance. Although she might do something else. Like I said, normal vampires have fun. She'll probably do the same. She'll find something or someone to distract her from everything that happened recently." Morell told the teenagers. "Has she told you about anything that would make her feel negative emotions?"
"No..." Scott muttered, looking t the floor.
"She hasn't told us but..." Stiles said.
"But what?" Morell questioned.
"When she and Enzo were talking, she said that she lost her brother, Kol. She said that he was killed" Stiles told Morell.
"There. You worked It out" Morell smiled. "She was mourning her brother's death."
--------
"Nice home..." Caleb told Astrid.
"Thank you." Astrid smiled at the brunette.
Caleb walked towards her and kissed her roughly on the lips, his hands on her hips as they kissed. Her hands travelled behind his neck, tugging at his hair gently.
They pulled away and Astrid smiled, grabbing his hand and guiding him to her bed room.
--------
"So she's dangerous right now?" Lydia asked.
"Not necessarily. Like I said. There are different ways for her to distract herself." Morell said. "Most kill. But.. Astrid's brother, Niklaus, once told me that she hated blood on her clothes or furniture. She only kills when she's angry or really hungry. It's highly unlikely that she went on a killing spree." Morell paused. "So I suggest you all go back to your lessons... I'll go check up on her."
---------
Morell was about to knock on the front door of the Mikaelson mansion. She touched the door lightly and it immediately opened. She opened the door and walked inside.
She walked into the livingroom. She saw three beautiful paintings. One of a redhead, which hung on the right hand side of the livingroom. The second one was on the left hand side and it was the white oak, surrounded by vervain. There was also a painting in the middle, it was new. It was also of the white oak but a body laid underneath it. The tree and vervain around it was covered in blood. The body was on fire and so were some of the flowers around it.
Morell sighed and began walking. Hoping to find Astrid somewhere in her mansion.
She quietly opened Astrid's bedroom door and saw her asleep, with a man she didn't know.
Morell smiled, relieved that Astrid didn't go on a killing spree. She closed the bedroom door and quickly left the house, heading back to the high school.
When Morell arrived at the school, she checked where Scott and his pack would be. They all had Chemistry in the same classroom.
Morell walked towards the classroom and knocked on the door 3 times before entering.
"Hello, miss. How can I help you?" The chemistry teacher asked.
"I need to speak with Lydia Martin, Allison Argent, Isaac Lahey, Scott McCall and Stiles Stilinski." Morell told the teacher.
The teenagers got up and left the classroom, standing in the hallway.
"What's going on?" Scott asked the emmisary.
"I went to check up on Astrid, thankfully she's back." She told the teenagers.
"Is she Okay?" Lydia asked.
"Yes. And she didn't go on a killing spree" Morell smiled.
"How did she distract herself then?" Stiles asked.
Morell looked at Scott with a sad expression. "What?" He asked confused.
"She... distracted herself by having sex." Morell told them.
Scott sighed sadly. "I can't be mad. I broke up with her."
"May I ask Why?" Morell asked.
"Its because of what she is, isn't it?" Stiles asked and Scott nodded. "Dude. Seriously?" Stiles said, not wanting to believe that this was his reason.
"She's a vampire, Stiles. And not just any vampire. An original tribrid. What did you expect me to do?"
"What did you do when we found out that Jackson was the Kanima? We tried helping him. You helped him, Scott. And you push Astrid away just because of what she is. How would you feel if I did that to you when i found out?" Stiles questioned Scott.
"Enough." Morell said. "Discuss this after school now go back to your lesson." She told the teenagers and walked away.

Big fantasy worlds. Multiple cultures, lots of characters, many different types of magic--this story is expansive rather than closely focused on a narrow storyline. 8 245Fragments from the Wildlands
“Your first death is always the hardest.” Miguela was the third-born child of a well-off merchant family and knew from around the time she could speak that her life’s path was already decided. She was to become an Orator, as was Xandran tradition. However, Miguela had an affinity with the magikal arts and somehow found herself studying at the Academy. She did just enough to keep up with her studies but never found the motivation to apply herself and “reach her potential,” as her instructors often said. It was not that Miguela was uninterested in the arts. Rather, she knew her time at the Academy ultimately did not matter. Whenever Miguela returned home, she would become an Orator, and that would be that. Or so she believed until, one day, an opportunity appeared that would change her life. Miguela was offered the chance to join a research team tasked with a mission of the utmost importance to the future of the Five Kingdoms. She could not turn down the prospect of regaining control of her life and finally finding a purpose for herself. Of course, Miguela might soon discover that offers that appear too good to be true are usually fraught with lies. Welcome to Five Kingdoms of Cordizal! Question: What is the Five Kingdoms of Cordizal? I often get asked this type of question about my stories by friends, bloggers, and potential readers. The Five Kingdoms of Cordizal is a high-fantasy epic universe that is the setting for most of my stories. The foundation of the universe is its multicultural, multiracial setting with several sentient races attempting to carve their legacy and survive. The world is fully fleshed out and vibrant with a rich and mysterious history not based on Tolkien mythology. This brings me to magic. To me, magic is an essential part of the fantasy genre, so, of course, there is magic in the Five Kingdoms universe. However, one critical part of the Five Kingdoms universe is that magic is an abundant commodity that is a part of everyday life and not some plot device used to drive the story. In short, the Five Kingdoms universe is the setting of epic fantasy stories with deep characters and world-building. I try to tell as many different types of stories as possible in the universe, and hopefully, you can find something for you in it.
