《Saving Gracie | ✓》Chapter Thirty: He Would See Me Again.

I rub my eyes and let out a sigh, stretching out my legs. The sound of my bones cracking makes me shiver in digust as I pull my legs closer to my body. I snuggle closer to Luke's body and I hear him groan.

"What is the time?" I hear Luke ask quietly and I shrug, allowing Luke to pull me closer to his body.

"I don't know. Just sleep." I mumble, pushing my hair away from my face. Luke let's out a sigh and I open my eyes to see him staring at me, taking me by suprise. I let out a laugh before untangling myself from Luke's arms which are wrapped around me and get out of the bed, walking over to my window and pulling the blinds to the side to allow the sun to shine in. Luke groans and I roll my eyes, walking over to my phone to check the time.

"Its nine o'clock, Luke." I say and Luke throws a pillow over his head, groaning once again.

"Goddamn." Luke says between his groaning and I pick up a pillow from my bed and throw it at him.

"Shut up, will you?" I say and before Luke can reply with his groans, I hear his phone go off.

"Who is it?" Luke asks and I walk over and look at the name that is on the screen.

Daniel.

The memory of me checking Luke's phone that night and looking at the message makes my blood go cold. I look at the message and when I finish reading it, my heart slows down in relief.

"Its Daniel." I say, picking up Luke's phone and throwing it on the bed. Luke grabs it and looks at the message before letting out a sigh, ripping the sheets off him to reveal a half naked Luke.

I bite my lip and look away, feeling my cheeks heat up. I hear Luke chuckle, his arms wrapping around my waist as his body presses against my back.

"Calm down, you just slept in the same bed with me."

"I-I know." I say and Luke kisses my head, letting go of me to grab his clothes, putting them on. When he is finsihed, he pecks my lips and heads towards my bedroom door.

"I'll be back in an hour okay? So be ready by then." Luke says and I nod. When I hear the front door open then close after a second, I begin to head towards the bathroom, deciding to have a nice warm shower to wake me up.

I wonder what happened to Amy last night...

I gulp and pinch my arm, looking into the mirror at the girl who seems a little happier than she has been during the past two months.

Since Luke always says that he likes to see all of my face without my hair covering some parts of my forehead, I have decided to clip my hair that covers my forehead backwards so my face can be shown instead of my hair covering some parts of it. The small freckles that go along the bridge of my nose stands out, making me have somewhat of an innocent look. I decided to leave my piercings out today but made a mental note that I have to put them back in if I don't want the holes to close up. My bright green eyes that I have inherited from my father pop out in a nice way but I can't help but picture my father as I look into my eyes.

It really sucked having the same eyes as the man that absolutely didn't really care for me at all. I mean, he has showed sometimes that he cares but if he really did care like my mom, would he have waited a while then brought Eve home? Would he have thought about my feelings in the whole situation if he cared? Obviously not.

I shake my head, letting my mind go back to the present. I look myself over, actually liking the outfit I picked today. You see, I'm not usually the type of person to go through my wardrobe and pick out clothes that go well together but ever since I have been with Luke, I have been slightly changing my outlook towards life.

I am wearing white ripped skinny jeans that make my legs look somewhat nicer - shape wise - and I decided to wear a black sweater that covers my shirt underneath which says 'totally' in white. I finished the look off with my purple vans to match my hair which I think is very cool actually.

I hear a beep come from outside and I grab my phone and walk over r to the window to see if it is actually Luke. When I see that it is him, I begin to walk out of my room and down the stairs. Before I walk out the door though, a sight captures my eye and I turn slowly to see a small dark red suitcase resting against the wall. I frown in confusion as my mind begins to wonder if the suitcase belongs to Amy.

Is she leaving? Where is Amy? Actually, where is everyone? It is Saturday so my father should be home with Eve but obviously this isn't the case. Maybe they are at the mall doing shopping?

Oh well... I'll figure it out later.

I walk out the door, my phone clutched tightly in my hand as I begin to quickly make my way towards Luke's car. When I enter, his eyes widen as he looks at me. I blush and turn away from Luke.

"I had a feeling that I would get that reaction from you." I mumble and Luke turns my face so that I am looking at him and he smiles at me, making my heart race.

Why do you do this to me, Luke?

"It isn't a bad reaction, Gracie. You are absolutely..." Luke takes one more look at me and grins. "Breathtaking." Luke finishes and I smile at him.

"Thanks." I say, my cheeks heating up some more and Luke presses his lips to mine gently. He pulls after away a few seconds and starts the car.

"Now, let's just hope that my friends don't start gawking at what is rightfully mine."

After a few minutes of driving to Luke's friends place, I begin to become a little nervous. It is probably because we just turned into a dark, scary place that looks like a place in a horror movie or it is probably because I am afraid to meet Luke's friends.

What is his friends like? I haven't seen them around school so they must be older... or maybe they just don't attend classes or go to the cafeteria for lunch? Oh who knows? All I want to do is walk in and get out as fast as possible because this area is literally sending chills up my spine from how creepy it is.

The car stops and I look at the house in front of us. The house is small, yes, but the outside of it looks somewhat decent. The front lawn is spotless unlike all the other yards that are disgustingly dirty and what surrounds the house is a black gate.

I turn to Luke to see him staring at me like he is waiting for my approval to get out. I send him a nod and Luke nods, getting out of the car. I let out a sigh and end up doing the same, closing the door behind me. Luke walks over to me and sends me a reassuring smile.

"Just remember... I'll do all the talking." Luke says and I nod, feeling a little calmer. Luke nods and grabs my hand, leading me up to the house. Luke runs a hand through his hair before knocking loudly on the door.

"Go and get the door!" I hear someone shout from inside. I hear another person groan and a few seconds later, the door swings open.

All of a sudden, my blood goes cold and the memories begin to flood back into my mind, making my eyes widen in horror.

Oh no.

"Hey buddy." The familiar person says, making my legs shake as his voice rings in my head. The guy looks over at me and his eyes widen slowly in realisation but quickly shakes his head to calm himself down.

Luke pulls on my hand and frowns at me when he sees that I am not moving. "Gracie, you okay?" Luke asks but I can't talk my eyes of the guy in front of me and he can't either.

I gulp and shake my head slowly, pinching my hand. "I-I'm okay." I say, following behind Luke as he begins to walk into the house. As I pass the guy, he stares into my green eyes and I stare into his grey eyes.

"I will see you again." Randy says with a small smirk before walking away from me, leaving me confused but disgusted.

He was right.

He would see me again.
