LBF Chapter 17 Pantheon City
Within the milky way galaxy, at its center, there is something massive. A black hole, Sagittarius A*. Its a super monster which devours cosmic matter, even stars themselves.
Its gravitational pull is so strong that all the matter in this galaxy...planets, stars...and even entire solar systems are affected, rotating around it.
Seas of matter were being drawn in and crushed by the gravity, then swallowed, never to be seen again. Light itself faced the same fate.
Above this mass of matter being dragged into the maw of the black hole, a purple whirlpool appeared. It was mostly stable, but purple specks were still breaking off, failing to resist the gravity.
Something, like a whale surfacing, flew out of the whirlpool. A gigantic pyramid shaped space vessel. But in the presence of the supermassive black hole and the sea of matter heading within its maw, the space ship appeared no more than a speck of dust, too small to even be comparable.
Damien took all this in as he stood before a screen. You might mistake it for a window due to the visual acuity, but a window it was not. It was just an image formed by the walls of the room. He was amazed at the wonders of the universe.
This was as close to the center of the galaxy as you could get, and even then, you had to be in this type of ship unless you had evolved to the level of the gods.
Above this sea of matter, a giant open gate stood, simply floating in the void. So large, that ten of the ships he was in could enter side by side with plenty of space between them.
It was taller than it was wide. Array lines, like circuits on a circuit board ram along its frame and the two massive open doors.

According to the talk he had heard from the grapevine, no one could move those doors, even the gods themselves. It had been one of the reasons that the age of chaos had lasted so long.
Damien took it all in as the ship headed for the open gate. There, in the space supposed to be closed off by the doors was a blue lake, rippling with waves. The ship entered the blue waters and Damien temporarily lost his vision.
When his vision was regained, he involuntarily closed them this time. Light had fallen into them almost blinding them.
'It has been a long time since I last had such a sensation.' He thought as he opened them a little to get adjusted to the light. Normal light wouldn't have been able to give him such a sensation, even one from the brightest of stars. This light was special. It had something that could affect even a powerhouse like him.
His eyes fell on a ring, more like a river of flames in a ring with waves visible on its surface. It was gigantic and floating in space.
As he beheld it, he unconsciously took out his lifetime pass to Pantheon city, holding it in front I'd himself to compare. He was shocked to find that the flaming light within it was mimicking the flow of the bright ring of flames in the distance, however slow it was.
His gaze moved downwards, attracted to something the light from the ring was shining on. His pupils constricted within his sockets and he took in a massive breath of elemental particles the moment he laid eyes on that something.
It was a pentagon shaped piece of land, rivalling Sagittarius A* itself in size. It was simply floating there in space rotating slowly. Damien could see it rotating because he was still very very far away from it. It and the ring of flames above were the only two things existing in this massive space.

Since it was a spatial pocket, it probably had boundaries, but he couldn't see them.
Light particles were being ejected from the surface of the continent into the air, and he could vaguely make out that they seemed to denote the colors of the five powerful god clans. The light particles marked five distinct domains in the shape of triangles.
[It will take a year to reach the city travelling at light speed and using spatial compression technology. Warp travel can't be activated in this dimension.] A notification came from the AI.
-----
Time passed and the space ship finally reached a space dork on the side of the floating continent. Damien flew off and saw that the edges of the continent were steep cliffs dropping down into the unknown. His gaze couldn't see their ends.
Many others alighted from the ship causing the platform to become crowded. The ship had been carrying millions of passengers, varying from one elemental string individuals to six elemental ones, demigods like him.
The moment he stepped on the continent, the purplish haze he had seen rising from it vanished as if it had never existed. Damien also saw two more pyramid ships docked at the side of the one he had alighted from.
'The gravity appears to be stronger, the soil more compact...and I can't tear through this space, its too solid...the concentration of the elements is...wow!' His brain had gone into analysis mode the moment he has stepped upon this land.
Taking in a massive breath of the particles in the air had caused his cells to jump in excitement.
"I heard that in a month, the handing over of the city to the new goddess is going to take place."
"Yes. Its an exciting time to be in Pantheon city right now."
"We can call ourselves lucky to be here at this time. Hahahaha..." Three lifeforms discussed in high spirits not knowing that their words were entering into Damien's ears.
According to what he knew, the pass with the lowest duration of staying in Pantheon city was the 100 year pass.
Everywhere he looked, lifeforms in the human form were all that he could see. It looked like Pantheon city was strict about that as it was even emblazoned in the sky by the projector, well, unless you were a two and one elemental string individual.
"Demigod Blood, I presume." Someone's voice entered his ears from the front as he was looking around.
"What do you want, fellow demigod?" He asked.
"My young master has been itching to meet you in person and has asked me to invite you over." The man said. A crest resembling that on the massive spacecraft sewn into his suit on the chest area.

A (Not So) Simple Fetch Quest
Oh great hero! The evil Demon Lord has once again arisen to terrorise our lands, and we have summoned you to save our people! No, we don't want you to fight the demon lord! Of course not; we're the good guys! What sort of good guys kidnap people from other worlds and force them to take part in wars that have nothing to do with them? That would just be plain evil! We'd be no better than the demons! Katie, after her summoning by an excessively loud mage suddenly takes an unexpected twist, is sent off on a simple fetch quest, with a promise that she'll be back home in five minutes at most. She doesn't even need to leave the building. Alas, when a goddess' blessing causes her wish for an actual adventure to be taken rather more literally than she expected, she finds herself lost in a dark cave, far away from the sword she was supposed to acquire and far too close to a population of giant bugs. Still, at least she wished her life wasn't in any danger. Among other things. Be careful what you wish for. You might just get it. This is a dark litRPG adventure, both in terms of Katie accidentally wishing all the lights out, and also in that she loses as often as she wins, often with horrific and disturbing consequences. Luckily, Katie isn’t the sort of person to let a mere grizzly death or two get her down, and is prepared to try, try and try again to get her hands on the holy sword and finally complete her ‘simple’ fetch quest. Or perhaps—with a few resistance skills under her nightie—she might even come to enjoy losing. Not that she’d ever consider forgoing revenge, even if she did. I’ve ticked all the content warning checkboxes for this one. There’s no explicit sexual content, but there are enough references to justify the warning. Profanity happens rarely, but Katie isn’t averse to swearing when she gets particularly angry. As for gore/trauma, it doesn’t get much worse than the first few chapters, but there will be occasional chapters that have extra content warnings.

Marrow
Marrow was old... older than me or you. Older than the nation he lived in. And older than anyone he knew. Which is not surprising, because he did not know anyone else. He had been sitting, or perhaps leaning is the more apt expression, in a closet for many, many years, and had done nothing but stare. But eating, or rather chewing, a spider opened up another world to him. A world with a voice that was talking to him - to HIM! Marrow did not get what the voice was saying, but that was secondary at this point. And Marrow started to feel restless. Nuff said. If you like a sometimes quirky skeleton as the main character and want to ride along for its coming of age, or perhaps rather coming of sapience story... give it a shot. It is a litrpg context with skills, levels, heroes and monsters... and a skeleton. Not sure yet how fast the skeleton will level... we'll have to wait and see. As a disclaimer... this is my secondary novel... my main story is ongoing and most of my time is dedicated to that. As such, new chapters will, at first, be rather infrequent and irregular. If things go well, I may shift more attention to the story, but we shall see how things go.

The higher-dimensional beings that sent him here have told him to break the world of Antium. It’s forbidden for anyone outside of the guilds to learn magic, so what better way to break everything than to use forbidden Red Magic to craft armor and weapons more powerful than Antium has ever seen? But before he can even craft his first piece of armor, he’ll have to fight his way out of the infested forest with nothing but a rusty sword and his smithing tools. He’s one of many that has been sent in to shake things up and breathe new life into a dying world. If the others are sent to shatter the world, then Adrian will be the one to build it back up to something glorious, even if he has to do it one bronze ingot at a time.UPDATE SCHEDULE:New Chapters are released every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
