Again for the third time the four kids where standing in front of the old man, waiting to see who will the next to go with him.

He start to speak :

“Alicia you will be the next, Gold will be last.”

He quickly teleport the blonde girl and himself inside the small garden and sitting and inviting the young girl to do the same he start to calmly explain how the machine work and answering a few question on how to activate the contraption once he has finish she start infusing her qi inside the machine.

The machine activate once again, the image made of light start to take form.

Inside the ball was the image a little girl playing with her parent, at the sight of this image she start to get a little sad, that was her deepest desire ?

The old man look at her , the situation was getting a bit out of hand. He really hated family problems always worse kind of problem, each time he encounter one the situation has quickly become a complete disaster.

Alicia look at him, she don’t know what just happen, does the old man finally gone completely crazy. The girl quickly answer the old man :

The old man look at her he even worried now :

“It’s even worse than that, what the problem young girl we need solve it quickly before they put an end to this world with some stupid bullshit !”

She froze for second trying to understand, when her brain finish to process the information it quickly start to execute annoyed.exe :

Seeing the young girl started to become really angry, he quickly understand than he as gone a bit to far.

After clearing his throat he start to speak :

“I’m sorry, that not I wanted to mean but I know the sad consequence of unsolved problems particularly family one. This can be a concern that can distract you from your training.”

Seeing that the girl has calm down a bit and was now looking at him he continue :

“If you can talk to me about it I can help you find a solution to the problem it will be a better end for everyone.”

Alicia look at him still a bit suspicious of the old man but he has a point solving it will really help her appease her worry sighting she answer back :

“Ok, it’s not really a big problem it’s just that mom has a lot of duty at the sect so she rarely with dad and me it always make me sad when we go on holidays without her, I just want her to be more often.”

After listening to her he start to think about it sadly that a much more common that people think and often a solution he not that obvious.

He look at her before he start to peak again :

“Once I have finish with Gold tomorrow I will take you to capital to talk with your parent and see if we can find a solution.”

The girl look at him a bit surprise, ignoring her he continue :

“But before that you need to make the machine test again let me calibrate the machine.”

He put his hand on the back on the machine infusing his energy inside the ball quickly start floating a few centimetres above the machine.

After of minute tinkering with the machine the ball start to rapidly spinning and shining of all the colors before suddenly stopping and returning on top of the machine.

The old man look at her:

“You can proceed.”

The girl put her hand on the machine once again on the reaching inside her dantian for a strand of qi before injecting it inside the machine.

The machine start once again until the light condense inside for the second time.

This time the light start to take form but before it finish the form break down into ball of light before condensing again and again. After a few minutes the machine finally settle into a final image.
