"AWOOOOOOO" At first it was just one howl, then a mulititude of howls came following after. Like a choir of death that came in the night, jolting Aishe out of his slumber. Still in pain, he forces his body outside to see what maybe the massacre of his house.
Peering outside his window, just darkness under the brush of the woods on the outskirts of his house is seen. As soon as the wails of the howls stopped, one pair of red eyes gleamed towards the house. Followed by more and more ominous glares after, frightening poor Aishe.
"AISHE!" Aishe's mom burst through his bedroom door along with his father, who came back shortly after Aishe fell asleep. Aishe turns to the both of them. Tears welling up in his eyes as regret for going into the woods swirls inside his mind. His mom hugs him warmly in her embrace.
"It's going to be alright, baby. Hun, carry him please."
"Okay, dear." Aishe separates from his mother and soon lifted up by his burly dad. His mother exits the door and meets Aishe and his father outside the backdoor of the house.
The howling beasts make their move encrouching on the sheep pen. The slaughter of the cattle radiates in the background as they make their getaway under the cover of night. One wolf caught scent of the family and bolted towards their direction. Aishe's father noticing too late gets hit in the side. He instinctly curls up his arms around Aishe. Preventing him from hitting the ground.
"HUN!"
Aishe's mother launched fireballs sporadically since their cover was blown in an attempt to ward off the wolf, while running towards them. The fireballs caught the surrounding trees on fire lighting up the darkness. This in turn caused the wolves slaughtering the sheep to notice where they were.

"Dear, take Aishe. NOW!" Noticing his intentions, she kisses him lovingly, before taking Aishe by the hand. They both retreat into the woods. The wolf locks his eyes on the man while he looked at his family in the distance. Slamming both his fists together and returning the wolf's gaze, the earth soon forming around his hands like gauntlets. He readies himself, the wolf launched itself towards the man.
At that moment, a slice of air was heard behind the woods of the sheep. Unbeknowest of the family, the wolves that noticed the family turned towards the sound. They all hurled themselves toward the newcomer.
The wolves outnumber him 30 to 1. He looks around at the encrouching pack and slams his sword into the first wolf from below the jaw up. Tossing the wolf towards the second one leaping at him. A wolf attacks his back launching him into another wolf waiting for him. His sword slowly increased in redness going from dim to vibrant as he flew. Gripping it tightly, he slashes down severing the wolf easily like butter. The wolves seeing this surround him again in fear.
Aishe's father
Punching his right fist forward, the earth gauntlet goes flying forward knocking the wolf back. Yelping in pain, the wolf retreats back. Glaring at the man, the wolf's eyes slowly go down into the ground, disappearing.
"Shit!" The man bolts towards Aishe and his wife. Failing to notice the shadow left behind by the wolf only moved closer to him.
Aishe
Running into the woods, Aishe and his mother steadily make their way. His mother shedding tears as she holds Aishe's hand.

Crucible - A Lost Dungeons Tale
All stories must begin somewhere, this one starts with the creation of the universe. What follows is a tale of chaos and order, of gods and monsters, of creation and destruction. The birth of a universe is a tumultuous journey, different entities working with opposing ideals, cooperation giving way to frustration and jealousy. It is in that dangerous concoction of emotions that the god of monsters created the first dungeon core. Forged in a crucible of dedication and desire, the first core held potential, the likes of which could surpass even the civilised mortal races. Unfortunately it was not meant to be, the core was lost in a tragic accident and its creator thought it to have been destroyed. Over one-thousand years later, the core reformed inside an extinct volcano. In time it would grow enough to learn and learn enough to grow. This is the story of the first dungeon core. Crucible, the lost dungeon core. Note: Story updates every hiatus*. *I appologise for the delay.
