As always, I'm taking all the constructive criticisms. Thank you again for reading.

As everyone had dumbfounded look on their faces, I facepalmed really hard. As I facepalmed, and asked him why I was called here, Aaron regained his senses.
“Uh, Yeah. Sorry about that. Ahem. So yeah, I was wondering what that contraption was. It shot out something similar to magic but much faster? And without any incantation? Also, what’s with that loud noise?
I saw you using it when you were fighting against those monsters.” (Aaron)
Oh, so that’s why he called me here. I guess there are no weapons like guns here. What a nice world live in right? People only fight with weapons, and magic. There are no such thing as a nuclear bomb or guns that can just wipe people out. Actually… Magic might be an exception. Anyways,
“Oh, Yeah, that’s a weapon called a handgun in my world.”
I went ahead and picked up the gun that Aaron dropped and unloaded the ammo inside the gun.
“You see this? These are the ammos for the gun. It’s similar to bow and arrow. Just like the bow needs it’s arrows, a gun needs the bullets. The gun basically shoots out these bullets but at a much faster speed than bow and arrow. It’s practically impossible to dodge it unless you have the eyesight? Or the perception of an animal. To be honest, even animals that are perceptive have hard time dodging the bullets. It’s almost impossible to dodge these.”
“Holy shit, that’s crazy. This is crazy. Sir, Aaron, If we bring this back and replicate it, our kingdom wouldn’t lose to any foes!” (Jade)
“Yes, indeed…”(Aaron)
Oh, god. I don’t want them to replicate this in order to use it for war. I’m going to be the reason for extinction magic at this rate, and war.

“Uh, I don’t think you guys should do that.”
“Why not? If we can get this weapon, we can definitely kill those damned bastards who are constantly waging wars against the kingdom that we lived in.” (Jade)
“Yeah… Look, I don’t know your motives, and goals are and why you want the weapon so much, but I think it’s a terrible idea. One of the main reason is that the weapons can be abused like in my world and it will definitely create a bigger problem than the one you guys have now. Even if we, or the kingdom that you are talking about has the weapon for now, eventually others will be able to obtain it and use it. It will be disastrous. I also don’t want to be involved in a war, nor be the reason that the other people are getting wiped.”
“But, If I can get a weapon like this, I can finally destroy those fuckers. For that reason I need..”(Jade)
“Stop it, Jade. Don’t get emotional. Sorry about that Skylar. We understand where you are coming from, and this weapon is yours, so it’s your decision to make and call.” (Aaron)
“Damn it all!!!!!” (Jade)
As Aaron finished his sentence, Jade quickly ran outside and disappeared from our sight.
“Sigh” (Aaron)
“I’ll get him” (Sera)
“Wait, Leave him alone for now and let him cooldown.” (Aaron)
After that, there was a long silence in the room.
“Well, let’s start heading out.” (Aaron)
We all took our leave and left the tent. When I came out of the tent, I heard a voice.
“Hey, can I talk to you for a bit?” (Jade)
“Uh… Yeah. Sure.”
“Thanks, come with me.” (Jade)
I followed Jade into the forest. It wasn’t too far off, we left just enough to not to be heard by the others.

“First, let me apologize about what happened before. I got emotional thinking about my past.” (Jade)
“It’s alright. I understand.”
After a moment of silence, Jade continued on talking.
“Yeah… I lost the only brother I had long time ago because of the kingdom that is placed above Asteralis. The kingdom is called Korale.”My mother and father passed away, when me and my brother was still young. I was 13 and my brother was 19. Because I was still young, my brother had to get a job in order to pay for the house and the food. So my brother got a job as a cleaner at a food restaurant that only serves nobles. One day, he dropped a plate that he was cleaning front of the noble because he was pushed, and the glass pieces of the plate hit the shoes that the noble was wearing. Of course, my brother apologized but the the noble didn’t listen. That piece of shit beat up my brother then he brought him to the court. You know what the court did? They gave him a death sentence. They favored him because he was a noble. I know it’s ridiculous right? He was killed on the spot and nobody refuted. It's fucked up. It's not fair..." (Jade)
....
"People who don’t live as a noble in this world are treated as a livestock, a slave, basically a trash. It's not only my brother. There are many others who shared the same fate. I wanted to change that. That’s why I wanted the weapon. There are people who believes in what I believe, and would’ve fought with me. So yeah… Sorry about that, I just thought I would be able to change the way we live.” (Jade)
“... I see.”
“Anyways, Let’s catch up to them before they leave” (Jade)
Before I was able to say anything to comfort him, Jade hurried me and we got back to the camp site. Aaron, and Sera were prepared to leave with all the baggages.
“Alright, So let’s head out to Asteralis. It shouldn't take too long”. (Aaron)

Series – Dice rolls, quests, and intriguing characters are only the tip of the spear. The Adventurer series includes playable game mechanics, maps, and more! Thrust into a world governed by tabletop RPG rules, Cire must survive an onslaught of wondrous and horrific challenges. His peculiar race, charismatic personality, and talent for turning negative situations sideways might just be the tools he needs to achieve his goals, or they may lead to his ruin. Adventurer Book II - Dawn of an Empire Short story prequel- The Lurking Lair: An Adventuer Series Short Story Summary for the LitRPG savvy reader: Looking for a LitRPG that is more tabletop traditional role playing game and less MMORPG? This is probably your cup of tea. Long term progression with a heavy slice of life element. Strong mix and inclusion of ancient Greek life, values, and myths. Hence, the world can be a bit more harsh and brutish than modern sensibilities. The system is tangible and knowable beyond the MC's insights. The MC is more of an everyman than someone specifically chosen for the experience. Author's Note: This is my debut novel. Up until this point, the only thing I have written of comparable length has been non-fiction and related to history. I am immensely grateful to all the folks who have given me feedback and helped me improve my writing.

Condemned
“The human body is a fragile thing. But the soul... The soul is malleable. Easily tainted. All it takes is one drop of blood to dye it all red.” Long ago, in a time remembered only by a few, the seven lords of Syvernia, led by the Great Hero Ludwig, ended the Great Calamity that plagued humanity for as long as time itself. It was the dawn of a new age of man. . . until the thirst for more poisoned the new lords. Slowly, the thread that held humanity together loosened and a thick haze consumed the lands between. Mysterious vanishings, supernatural forces, and silence warns of a looming threat inside the coat of fog. Though the struggle of the realms did not interest Leor, for he was condemned as a Purblight, until he took a seemingly simple job: escort Alden to Lightendale and collect the handsome reward, a reward that would let him live the rest of his life with ease. But it’s never that simple, especially for someone who denounced the Gods. All his life, death followed Leor everywhere he went, cutting down his friends and family. When his first love died at the hands of an agent of light, he was prepared to throw everything away until a mysterious voice promised him a chance for retribution and a chance to bring her back by completing the seven trials. Thrown into the realm's struggle against the approaching haze and themselves, will Leor, a Purblight and an acquaintance of tragedy, use the very power he disdains to accomplish his goals? This is the rewrite of my novel: Condemned; I changed it to past tense and added/ took out some ideas from the original. This is essentially the first draft since I'm writing as I go. Also, there might be or might not be Gore, Sexual, or Traumatizing content. I only put it there for a disclaimer in case I want to add it. I have no set release schedule yet, but I'll try to post once every 2 week. Thanks for your patience.
