《HoneyComb》Ch3-Beewere of dark clouds!

Bee is huge and elegant, but is bee scared? NO! We are unable to fear, but me? I'm not so sure. But is bee me smart? Definitely!
Am I gonna apply my smarts right now? No, I'm too busy. Currently I'm trying to find my way around trees in the middle of the night, but I have a goal! I'm gonna steal the moon! Just kidding, I'm just following where it sets.
You know, it would suck if the moon suddenly disappeared and it became pitch black- oh…
Just like I said, the moon disappeared… Actually, it was more like it was covered by dark clouds. I'm not gonna lie, this is a bit spooky.
It's perfect for a murder scene in a movie, I think… I can barely see, so I might not be right.
Hmm… now that a look at it, it looks like the clouds are coming from a specific area, could that be where the murderer might be?
I could see clouds rising up from behind a tree and fly directly on top of me. Now ima bit scared knowing that something can Control clouds, what If they flood the nest? Or prevent me from collecting pollen by making my wings wet!? BLASPHEMY!
I'm now making annihilation of this creature my number one priority! No… I'll make them go extinct!
With my newfound goal I charged straight at the tree, just to regret my decision, for there was not the weak thing I was expecting nor hoped for, but there was the enemy of all insect kind… A FROG!
Or would that be a parasite? Doesn't matter, it's Controlling clouds and it's a frog.
A frog is the anti air and ground of mammal kind… are they mammals? Or would it be right to say insect kind instead? And is it even a frog?

It looks like one, but It stands… on three legs, like a turret. To better explain it, it looks like a turret with three supporters and dressed up as a frog with a pipe coming out its head.
Oh look, it's attacking- WHAT
With its blackish white mouth open… Grey? With its Grey mouth opened two orange tongues fly out in my direction… Wait two!?
Not wanting to get hit, I stopped flapping my wings and avoid both of the tongues, but they suddenly changed directions and went straight down right towards me.
How is this fair!? I get its muscle, but how does it bend like that? And how long is its tongue?
I start flapping my wings and fly towards the frog to get close and dodge the tongues. I fly to the left, then the right, then down, then- oh, it stopped.
Both of the tongues stopped behind me then retracted back into the frog's mouth. Luckily I was really close so I reached the frog before it could shoot its tongues again.
I land on top of its head and get ready to sting, but…
I won't die will I? Normal bees die after stinging because their insides get torn out… that doesn’t sound nice… Well, I'm not a normal bee…
Taking a chance I raise my stinger then plunge it into the frog's soft flesh. The frog screeches and shoots its tongues out again to try and hit me.
You may think it's over reacting, but I'm about the size of a human's head, so my stinger is pretty big, and pointy. The frog itself is probably up to an adult's shoulders.
I take out my stinger and fly into the air as the frog's tongues slam onto its own head.
This is gonna make even me flinch but gotta disarm it.

I fly up directly above one of the frog's tongues and aim my stinger, I stop flapping my wings and fall.
I'll call this the bee bullet? Or… bee spear? Bee impalesion! Yes! New word!
My stinger goes straight through the frog's tongue, and to my surprise, it cuts the tongue in half!
Holy- I didn't know my stinger was that deadly! Or was the tongue just thin and fragile?
The frog screeches again, it retracts its one uninjured tongue, then slams its mouth shut, biting the other tongue off.
What the- do you need to talk frog? If so, do it before you bite off your other tongue.
The frog shakes its head throwing its useless tongue off, with me stuck on it!
My stinger got stuck!?
I flap my wings but the tongue doesn't allow me to fly so I slam into the blood covered snow. I stand up and look back.
Why is the tongue so sticky!?
I shake my butt to try to get the tongue off my stinger. But it doesn't move, sadly this may be here forever.
I realize it's getting dark again, but Instead of the sky being dark, everything around me is black!
Did I go blind? Is the tongue venomous? Or was the blood poisonous? And why is it so hard to breathe?
I don't exactly breathe per say, but I can tell I'm not getting enough oxygen. It's getting hard to focus and stand.
My six legs are starting to get weak so I wobble around in the snow, the tongue is off putting my weight so I eventually collapse.
What is happening? Why… Why can't I get oxygen? What did the frog do?
I can hear snow crunch as my conscience dims, I know the frog is coming towards me but there's nothing I can do.
Shoot… I need to get somewhere safe somehow. Maybe I could dig?
I lift my mandibles and shove them in the snow and try to shovel my way out, but they're not made for that. So I try eating the snow.
I crush the snow with my mandibles then stick out my bee tongue to make the snow stick to it then I eat, then repeat.
[You have eaten snow! Ice magic went up to lv2!]
[Sullied snow gives you less magic points!]
I had ice magic!? Wait, magic!?

A World Forgotten
***This story will contain lite-litrpg elements, mainly character pages and a town page. There will also be settlement building and adventuring, missteps and achievements. But one thing it definitely won’t have is a harem. Nor will it have an overpowered MC. Contains mild cursing.*** ***feel free to critique my writing and offer input. This is my first venture into writing. I've always enjoyed litrpg/gamelit books. I feel like I write how I talk, so it may be a little different. You won't hurt my feelings if you see something wrong or out of place! *** ***What follows is a condensed part of chapter 1. Enjoy!*** Drew Cooper is thrust into a new, unfamiliar world. Waking up in his sweats and t-shirt near what seems to be a forgotten path through some woods, he struggles coming to terms that he's no longer in his apartment. As he tries to cope with his new reality, he hears a horse coming down the path. He hides behind a nearby tree dreading what may happen next. As the horse approaches, he sees a man walking next to it. The horse is burdened with packs and gear. When the man nears, Drew nearly panics. He has a large sword strapped to his waist, obviously a fighter. He continues to hide as the man slowly passes only for the man to stop a dozen meters past his hiding spot. "You may as well come out, ya know. You weren't as well hidden as you thought," the man stated matter-of-factly, letting the horse’s reins go and putting his hand on the hilt of his sword. Slowly and scared for his life, Drew raised up and walked from behind the tree. "I-I'm sorry. I wasn't planning on attacking you. I-I don't know where I am. I heard your horse and hid. I didn't know what you'd do if you saw me. I'm sorry," he nervously blurted out. A minute passed. Then two. The man seemed interested with Drew and stepped closer, eyes squinting as if trying to see something. "What's that on your shirt? Is that. What is that? Is that, Pac-man?" The man was visibly shaken while pointing at me. Looking down at his t-shirt nervously, "Yea. Yea. I woke up here a few hours ago I think. 3 maybe 4 hours. I’ve just been sitting here. Where am I? What's going on?" Drew asked. "That's not important right now," the man replied. " What's important is where you're from. What year is it?" "What year? April something 2020. Why? What's going on?" Drew continued now worried. The man was taken aback. After a few moments, he seemed to calm himself some. The man sighed and looked at Drew in earnest. "Well, I've got good news and bad news for ya. Bad news is you're not on Earth anymore. Good news is you happened to run into me and not someone else. You’re either really lucky, or it’s fate we met in these woods, and I don’t believe in luck." The man continued to walk towards Drew while talking and put out his hand. "I'm John Mitchell from St. Louis or thereabouts. You’ve got nothing to be scared of by me. Walk with me and let’s talk."
