Chapter 14: Ominous smell.

Walking into the market, Ben notices a variety of people bargaining, haggling and with a good eye, some people in the market are cheating and scamming. The scene as if coming out of a television series make Ben trill and excited. Clenching his fist tightly, Ben decided to do what in the past he wouldn’t be allowed to do because it is ethically unacceptable, but in here he could potentially experiment it to his heart content and got out of it unscratched.

What he wanted to do is scamming. Not for the guilty pleasure, the money or making a bad day out of people but only because he is curious. The kind of curious that fully kill a cat and obliterated it. Maybe too exaggerated, but that what Ben is feeling right now. So with blood pumping vigorously through his body and up to his brain, Ben contemplate.

’ I wanted to start scamming people.. But how would I do that? There’s a lot of problem in my mind right now such as the guard, where I am going and what do I need to do from now. Because unlike most protagonist, the problem is not going to be supposedly thrown my way every single day. Fortunately, with that, I would gain some breathing room and maybe try experimenting with all kind of things, Small or large with my power. My problem in my mind aside, I need to think of an idea for scams because my plan has to be smart, step in step process to actually scam people in the modern era. Wait! This is not a modern era period and the people around here won’t have internet which means no information access anywhere… I could exploit this definitely, but first I need to meditate so that I could get a clear mind and to let my other problem flows out of my system. Maybe I could get a meditation skills to make it easier for me to enter the epiphany state. That’s a good idea, let’s try that. ’ thought Ben, his mind running at 30 kilometers per hour.

Finding a stray chair out in the open, Ben pull it out of the side and sit down on it comfortably. ’ Meditation is not primarily about the form, it is about the mind and the temperament. To relax the brain by focusing on the breath and with that, the meditation will provide the effect of cleansing the mind of any and all negative thoughts. Including stress, anger, and problem, leaving the practitioner to experience the void, feeling nothing but calmness and carefree. With all of that said ”CREATE Meditation skill!” ’ thought Ben, shouting out loud at the end.

Comment: Help relieves stress and negative thought largely. At a high level, the practitioner could control some of his brain and body that he couldn't control before.

At the perfect or unending level, the practitioner holds the power to completely control his brain and body. Which mean he could potentially alter his cell or DNA, because he know fully the way of the body and that make the practitioner practically become an unkillable buddha.

’ That’s pretty good. Meditation could make you endlessly calm and make you control your body and mind perfectly when the skill level reaches the end. I don’t want to do this sadly, but the need to control my body perfectly beats trying to enjoy meditation upgrade. That means. ” My meditation is not at a max level, that is FALSE! ” ’ thought Ben, raising his voice at the end.

Title: Cheater Earn 300 percent more wit and 300 percent cheating skill when equip but success rate drop by 10 percent every min when you are in the midst of cheating, dropping back down either when you succeed, fail or quit.

” Woah! ” Ben exclaimed, unable to contain his surprise. ’ This meditation skill can go up into infinity. Good luck for me trying to master it. Fortunately, I didn’t try it the hard way since it would be impossible and ridiculous to do so, but all that cheating doesn’t go to waste. The effect I could feel right now is amazing, such as knowing how to lucid dream and supposedly could instantly dream on the spot at any time I wish. This ability oops I mean skill is ridiculously overpowered! Just with the skill at max level, I oddly and mysteriously could feel it integrated into my soul. ’ thought Ben, still in contemplation.

At this moment…

 BEEeeeeeep………… Telepathy connected.

The ringing sound of death sounded again and the poor Ben who seems to never learn his lesson collapse onto the floor. Holding his ringing ear, Ben bite out a word, ” STOP! ”. With that there is silence, leaving enough time for the emotional turmoil Ben to recover. ’ What about my calmness? I thought I could be calm.. ” thought Ben after he recovers.

’ Haven’t I told you, son, that you are an idiot even if you could control your brain, somehow fate decided that you will have a mess up moment occasionally. The fate who dictate that is me by the way and you have no power to dare make a suggestion at what I do. ’ Prime snobbishly said.

Ben hearing that could amazingly stay calm, knowing that the stupid mistake happens occasionally but won’t happen again once he got used to his skill that seems to flow into his mind infinitely. Prime seeing Ben state of mind couldn’t help but mutter, ’ Amazing, this is unlike what my power can do. The meditation skill, which is a branch of my power become his perfectly, a newly created power that seem to have a potential even higher than mine. If I don’t… ’ Thinking until here, prime stop and cut his connection prematurely.

’ If he doesn’t what? I am getting an ominous feeling about this. But whatever, I couldn’t feel trouble by prime LITERALLY. Meaning that my meditation is working freshly and fully. With this, I feel like I am a tsunami, flowing disastrously and unhindered. So many rhymes or reason there. Ok ok, I will stop. Let’s go scam people since I have a good idea in mind. ’ Ben thought. Standing up from the ground, Ben walks into the crowded area, leaving the old cracked chair and the dark, lonely alleyway alone which seemingly tell a different story underneath, the kind that lurk even below the dark.
