Chapter 4

-a few weeks after transporting-

After getting accustomed to speaking German (wolf: which was what they speak) I started to learn history at a much faster rate. Soon after learning German I had also got used to seeing & feeling with my tail; It was incredibly weird from going from no tail to having one. My tail was about as sensitive as my hands or feet. the biggest difference from those was that it also felt like my head, full of hair. It was similar with the new pair of ears on my head, however I could hear much better, and I could identify sound locations much easier. Due to the benefits gained and that they were more concealed, I had accepted them awhile ago.

I had learned much from my teacher friezer, however it would soon be time for me to go. after learning German, me and friezer would strike up idle chat instead of learning more vocab. We both new this was beneficial to us as I became more fluent and I also acquired more information, so did he.

(Friezer)“So do you want to return home?”

(Sam)”i'm honestly not sure. This world has much to offer me that earth didn't. Due to my field in archeology I would like to learn and hunt treasure in the more ancient dungeons, I am not suited to combat however i learned shooting from my grandfather...”

(Friezer)” I will see if you could be trained at the guard’s quarters. It's said that most therianthropes inherit or can quickly develop dynamic vision. So you should learn quickly.”

(Sam)”agh a new term I don't know…”

(Friezer)”hahaha… it means your eyes can easily track movement. Even while you're in motion. It was a term the ao dovish introduced when they were friendly.”

Feeling a little depressed i said:”if it is possible I would rather have the commodities of my life on earth while I explore here”

(Friezer)”I can understand that, old habits die hard as they say.”

-a few days later-

Friezer walks into my room disgruntled.

(Friezer) “currently you have only 2 days left until you are to be sent out of the capital, the period of my teaching is over and you have learned about this world.”

Realizing this, I sadly said, “it would be nice if you gave me a location I could head towards, also if you gave me a bag of some sort and a book on herbs..”

Friezer appeared shocked by that statement.

(Friezer) ”what do you need a book on herbs for?”

(Sam) “although I studied in archeology I had a minor in botany, I need a book on herbs so when I go on my journey i can get food or apply aid to any injuries i got.”

(Friezer)” I'll see if we have any, no promises”

Those two days went by in a flash, the lessons wrapped up in the first day, luckily for me, my request came through and friezer gave me a copy of a scientist's journal on all known herbs and what their effects were. Many i saw I recognized, a few I didn't. Among the trees i knew were apples or oaks, some flowers included wolf's bane and tulip, edible foods such as carrots and grapes had also appeared.

Unfortunately I never learned mechanical engineering, or chemical engineering so I am unable to create guns or the like. So unless I can reconnect with my world I would be unable to utilize my hunting skills.

Friezer had told me that I should head to the therianthropy country or to dragon country, as they would have a larger chance of receiving me, and would not discriminate against me.

-morning on the third day-

Friezer walked into my room once more to tell me about my leaving the capital.

“alright it is time I escort you through town, due to your cooperation and because I thought highly of you, I asked for a carriage to take you out of town.”

“Is this because I am therianthropy? Or because I have never been in the town?” I stated while in thought.

“Perhaps a bit of both..” Friezer sadly responded

(Sam)“Then as kind as it is for others, I would like to get it over with soon.”

After saying this I find my only belongings that came with me and follow Friezer outside my room.
